Tool holder for a machine tool
A tool holder for a machine tool, in particular for a core drilling machine, having a hollow shaft which has, at one end for coupling to the drive of the machine tool, a connector and, at the other end, a receiving opening with a plurality of openings in which locking elements are accommodated which are radially adjustable between a clamping position and an release position for securing a tool accommodated in the receiving opening. A switching sleeve is provided, which is adjustably mounted on the hollow shaft between a first switching position and a second switching position, a first subset of the locking elements being provided in the first switching position for locking the tool in the receiving opening, and a second subset of the locking elements being provided in the second switching position for locking the tool in the receiving opening, while the adjustment of the respective remaining locking elements is deactivated.
DRILL BIT ADAPTER TOOL
An adapter tool with a drill bit is provided that selectively connects to a driver to provide added versatility to the driver. The adapter tool includes a spring with an engagement end that extends through a body to selectively engage a recess in the driver. A user can actuate the spring to quickly engage and disengage the adapter from the driver. In practice, a user can use the adapter-driver combination to drill a pilot hole using the drill bit on the adapter, selectively remove the adapter from the driver, and then put a screw into the pilot hole using the driver.

Tool bits with floating magnet sleeves
A tool bit assembly includes a tool bit having a shaft with a first working region disposed at a first end of the shaft and a first reduced diameter portion proximate the working region and disposed between a first shoulder and a second shoulder. A floating sleeve has a rear portion with a pair of opposed window openings, a front portion supporting a magnet, and a pair of balls, with each ball disposed in one of the window openings. The floating sleeve is receivable over the tool bit with the magnet proximate the first working regions and the balls received in the first reduced diameter portion to allow the floating sleeve to move between a first position in which the balls abut the first shoulder and a second position in which the balls abut the second shoulder.
Workpiece Holder And Machining Apparatus
A workpiece holder 1 includes a holder head 11 and a holder body 12. The holder head 11 includes a chuck unit 13 for holding a workpiece W, a support pedestal 111 for supporting the chuck unit 13, and a hook 113 provided on a distal end portion of an arm 112 extending from the support pedestal 111. The holder body 12 includes a cylindrical body portion 121, a retained portion 123 that is arranged inside the body portion 121 and rotated around the cylinder axis J1 to be in either a retained state in which the retained portion 123 is retained by the hook 113 on the ?Z direction side or in the released state in which retaining by the hook 113 is released, and a disk spring 126 for biasing the retained portion 123 in the ?Z direction.
BIOPSY SYSTEM AND COUPLER DEVICE FOR USE THEREWITH
A coupler device for interfacing between a biopsy driver and an intraosseous device includes a drive body having a distal drive receptacle. The drive body is rotatable around a longitudinal axis. The distal drive receptacle is configured to drivably couple to a drive portion of the intraosseous device. A distal coupler portion is coupled to the drive body and is configured to operate a distal latch member. The distal latch member latches the drive body to the intraosseous device when the distal coupler portion is in a distal coupler latch position. The distal coupler portion has a distal housing portion that is movable in either of a distal direction or a proximal direction. The distal coupler portion has a distal release position and a proximal release position. The distal housing portion is configured to move the distal coupler portion to a release position to operate the distal latch member.
Sleeve device for receiving bits
A sleeve device includes a main unit having a sleeve with an open end face, a receiving space intercommunicating with the open end face, and a radial hole. An engaging member extends into the receiving space. A fixing member is mounted to an end of the receiving space opposite to the open end face. A pressing member is slideably received in the receiving space for pressing against the fixing member. The pressing member includes a cylindrical portion, an abutting portion, and a pressing portion, with the abutting portion and the pressing portion disposed on two ends of the cylindrical portion. A positioning member is slideably received in the radial hole for selectively pressing against an outer periphery of the cylindrical portion or the pressing portion. A ring is rotatably mounted around the sleeve and includes an inner periphery and a first recessed portion for selectively abutting the positioning member.
Fastening tools with floating magnet sleeves
A fastener driving tool includes a shaft with a working region disposed at a first end of the shaft and configured to drive a fastener, a shank portion disposed proximate a second end of the shaft and configured to couple the shaft to a power tool, and a reduced diameter torsion zone disposed between the shank portion and the working region, the torsion zone extending from a first shoulder closer to the working region to a second shoulder closer to the shank portion. A length (L) and a radius (c) of the torsion zone have been optimized so that approximately half of breakages occur in the working region and approximately half of breakages occur in the torsion zone.
