Tabletop cutting machine
An easily operable, highly durable cutting machine finely adjusts the miter angle of a turntable. A cutting machine includes a turntable supported in a manner rotatable horizontally to a base and including a substantially disk-shaped table body to receive a workpiece and a table extension protruding forward from the table body, a cutting machine body located above the turntable and connected in a manner swingable vertically to the turntable, and a fine angle adjuster that adjusts a rotation angle of the turntable with respect to the base and including a rack on the base, a pinion located in the table body within an area of the table body as viewed from above and engageable with the rack directly or indirectly, and an operation part operable to rotate the pinion.
Parting machine, workpiece positioning device
The present disclosure relates to a cutting machine comprising a rotating cutting wheel for performing separating cuts in a workpiece, and also relates to a workpiece positioning device for such a cutting machine. The cutting machine comprises a cutting wheel and a drive motor for driving the cutting wheel, a clamping means for clamping the workpiece, means for mechanically positioning the workpiece along one or two translational directions and additionally about one or two rotation axes, and a lifting mechanism for setting the cutting wheel on the workpiece to perform separating cuts in the positioned workpiece using the cutting wheel.
Sawmill
A sawmill includes a saw carriage and a swing saw which in turn has a circular blade and a drive shaft. The mill also includes a pair of ground engaging tracks. The saw carriage has a pair of posts/uprights each supporting an opposite end of a cross-frame, which incorporates a clamp at each end, and these can be tightened against one of the posts to stabilise the saw carriage. The saw cantilevers from the saw carriage such that the saw's drive shaft is to one side of the cross-frame regardless of whether the blade is in a vertical or horizontal cutting orientation. The carriage moves along the tracks to carry the saw to make cuts in the longitudinal dimension of a log. The saw is also arranged to move laterally along the carriage between the uprights to make cuts the lateral dimension of the log.
Table miter saw
Disclosed are various embodiments for a table miter saw. The table miter saw allows for cross cuts, bevel cuts, as well as miter cuts and is an improvement over common table saws. The table miter saw includes a platform, orbiting base, and a telescoping assembly that allows for pushing and pulling the saw blade apparatus for mitering safety and ease of use. Additional benefits include the ability to combine multiple carpentry and woodworking tools into one compact device that is easily transferrable to the jobsite.
Miter saw with improved carrying mode
A miter saw has a base assembly and a rotatable table disposed on the base assembly. The rotatable table is rotatable about a substantially vertical miter axis and has a substantially horizontal workpiece-supporting plane. A saw assembly is connected to the table and includes a blade. The blade is movable downwardly from a first position where the blade is above the workpiece-supporting plane to a second position where a portion of the blade is below the workpiece-supporting plane. The base assembly has a top surface and a first handle disposed on the top surface, with a first hole on the top surface extending through the base assembly, the first hole being configured to allow a user to extend the user's hand therethrough and grip the first handle.
PORTABLE AUTOMATED PANEL CUTTER
The invention relates to a portable automated panel cutter comprising a plurality of frame profile are releasably connected to form a support frame defining an inner support area. A carriage releasably mounted to the frame comprising a tool holder carriage movable in a second direction (Y) relative to the inner support area. The carriage is movable in a first direction (X) relative to the inner support area. A tool holder releasably mounted to the tool holder carriage. A power cutter releasably mounted to the tool holder, the power cutter is movable in a third direction (Z) relative to the inner support area and in an angle (φ) around the third direction (Z). Finally, the panel cutter comprises a controller configured for receiving input data and based hereon control the position (X, Y, Z) and orientation (φ) of the power cutter.
CONCRETE SAW
A concrete saw is disclosed and includes a frame having a platform and a leg pivotably coupled to the platform at a pivot axis, at least two rear wheels coupled to the platform at the pivot axis, at least one rear wheel coupled to an end of the leg distanced from the pivot axis, a power and drive assembly disposed on the platform, wherein the power and drive assembly includes an electric motor and a battery pack coupled to the electric motor to provide direct current power to the electric motor, and a cutting assembly driven by the power and drive assembly to cut a groove in a work surface as the concrete saw is moved across the work surface.
Flattening and Resurfacing Mill
A powered cutting apparatus for cutting an elongated work piece, the cutting apparatus including: a base having a top surface fixed to a bottom section; at least one attachment guide removably fixed to the top surface for connecting to a guide rail; a motor fixed to the base at the top surface; the motor includes a shaft which extends past an edge of the top surface; a cutterhead coupled to the motor with a first band and fixed to the bottom section of the base; and where the cutterhead cuts an even plane surface of a cutting surface based on the rotational output of the motor.
