STONE SLAB TRANSFER AND PROCESSING SYSTEM AND METHODS
A dual platform bed system has an associated machine for transferring material sheets from one platform bed to another. There are associated methods for both transferring and processing sheets on either or both platforms. Placing the platform beds adjacent one another reduces both human worker requirement and human and machine down time.
MACHINING APPARATUS
The present invention aims at eliminating a need for a moving mechanism that moves a machining table and eliminating a need for a protective cover such as a bellows cover, and includes a machining table that holds a workpiece, a machining mechanism that machines the workpiece with a rotary tool while using a machining liquid, and a moving mechanism that linearly moves the machining mechanism at least in each of X and Y directions on a horizontal plane, in which the machining mechanism moved by the moving mechanism machines the workpiece with respect to the machining table, the machining table being fixed at least in the X and Y directions.
Sawmill
A sawmill includes a saw carriage and a swing saw which in turn has a circular blade and a drive shaft. The mill also includes a pair of ground engaging tracks. The saw carriage has a pair of posts/uprights each supporting an opposite end of a cross-frame, which incorporates a clamp at each end, and these can be tightened against one of the posts to stabilise the saw carriage. The saw cantilevers from the saw carriage such that the saw's drive shaft is to one side of the cross-frame regardless of whether the blade is in a vertical or horizontal cutting orientation. The carriage moves along the tracks to carry the saw to make cuts in the longitudinal dimension of a log. The saw is also arranged to move laterally along the carriage between the uprights to make cuts the lateral dimension of the log.
PORTABLE AUTOMATED PANEL CUTTER
The invention relates to a portable automated panel cutter comprising a plurality of frame profile are releasably connected to form a support frame defining an inner support area. A carriage releasably mounted to the frame comprising a tool holder carriage movable in a second direction (Y) relative to the inner support area. The carriage is movable in a first direction (X) relative to the inner support area. A tool holder releasably mounted to the tool holder carriage. A power cutter releasably mounted to the tool holder, the power cutter is movable in a third direction (Z) relative to the inner support area and in an angle (φ) around the third direction (Z). Finally, the panel cutter comprises a controller configured for receiving input data and based hereon control the position (X, Y, Z) and orientation (φ) of the power cutter.
SAWMILL
Referring to
Multifunction cutting tool guide
A multifunction cutting tool guide which includes a base plate having a top surface and a bottom surface, with the base plate top surface including connection points for connecting a power tool to the base plate top surface. A track extends longitudinally along the bottom surface of the base plate for use in guided cuts. The track is defined by first and second spaced walls with at least one of the walls being movable with respect to the other wall to accommodate various sized straight edges. The base also includes a laterally extending channel adapted to mount on a straight edge for rip cuts.
Cutting machine and incorporated handling devices
A cutting device for a machine tool, suitable for mounting on the spindle support structure of a machine tool for processing and cutting materials, incorporates suckers able to cause the device to adhere to and be fixed to the materials being machined. Further, a cutting head having a protection device with incorporated suckers, a cutting spindle having a protection device with incorporated suckers and a machine for machining the materials, having a cutting spindle incorporating suckers.
REACTOR VESSEL CUTTING DEVICE AND METHOD
A reactor vessel cutting device, including a hoist system; a mechanical cutter; and a cutter carriage secured to the hoist system to be suspended by the hoist system. The cutter is secured to a carriage body of the cutter carriage to be carried by the carriage body. The cutter carriage includes a stabilization system secured to the carriage body and operable to hold the cutter carriage against a vessel wall of the reactor vessel. The cutter carriage is operable to apply the cutter to the vessel wall in a mechanical cutting operation when the cutter carriage is held against the vessel wall by the stabilization system. The hoist system is configured to bear the weight of the cutter and the cutter carriage during the mechanical cutting operation and the stabilization system is configured to carry cutting forces generated during the mechanical cutting operation.
