Shaft cutting tool
A shaft cutting tool incorporating a scissor assembly having a first arm, a second arm, and a hinge interconnecting the arms' proximal ends; a shaft mount attached to the first arm's distal end; and a cutting wheel assembly operatively mounted within a hollow bore formed at the second arm's distal end; wherein the cutting wheel assembly includes a drive axle and rotary bearing; and wherein the drive axle extends oppositely from the cutting wheel for engagement with a portable electric drill.
Articulated Mast Section for Chop Saws
An articulated chop saw mast section (30) replaces a rigid prior art mast section (22) between a chop saw base (20) and a chop saw swing arm assembly (23′). The articulation of mast section (30) provides a front-to-rear longitudinal movement of the swing arm assembly (23′) along an axis that is parallel to the longitudinal axis of a chop saw cutting wheel (26), ultimately providing front-to-rear movement of the cutting wheel (26) along its longitudinal axis. The movement of wheel (26) in this fashion provides a means for optimum adjustment to the geometric relationship between wheel (26) and the material to be cut. The ability of the articulated mast to achieve optimum cutting geometry offers greater cutting efficiency by reducing the point or points of contact between wheel (26) and the material's specific profile.
Electric saw
The invention relates to an electric saw comprising: a frame (2) mounted on a base (1), a cutting head (3) mounted on the frame by using a rotating shaft (4) in the vertical direction and an adjustable stop (5) limiting the descent of the head and the cutting depth. The adjustable stop (5) comprises: a rod (51) mounted in a through manner, with the possibility of longitudinal sliding, in a passage (53) defined in the cutting head (3) and facing a fixed stop (21) defined in the frame (2); and a screw (54) for lateral tightening and fixing of the rod (51) inside the passage (53). The screw (54) comprises an actuation knob (55) and is threadedly mounted in a hole defined in the cutting head (3) and leading into the mounting passage (53) of the rod (51).
TABLETOP CUTTING DEVICE
Two 18V-type rechargeable batteries (31 and 31) are attached in series so as to allow a 36V-type tabletop cutting device (C1) to be utilized. By utilizing the 18V batteries which are highly prevalent for electric tools, it is possible to use the 36V-type tabletop cutting device (C1) as well as to reduce costs for the batteries.
WET CUTTING SAW
A wet cutting saw for cutting a ground portion, the wet cutting saw including a blade rotatable about an axis, a liquid feed conduit for feeding liquid onto a surface of the blade as it rotates, a frame for carrying the blade and configured to travel over a surface of the ground portion, and a mounting assembly that mounts the blade to the frame, at least part of the mounting assembly pivotable relative to the frame to raise and lower the blade relative to the frame.
Cutting devices
A cutting device may include a friction reducing device arranged in an operational force transmission path between an operation member and a fixing device that can fix a circular cutter to a rotational shaft of a cutting unit.
Table cutting machine
A cutting machine can include a cutting machine body that is movably supported above a table and capable of vertical movement, the cutting machine body can be positioned at an upward waiting position and a lower end position. The cutting machine body can include an auxiliary cover positioned around a portion of a blade and including a projection. When in the upward waiting position the auxiliary cover is not able to move upward because of the position of the projection, and in the lower end position the auxiliary cover is able to move upward.
Power tool blade type detection and automatic speed adjustment
Systems and methods are provided for an electric tool (e.g., a power tool) that includes an output driver for receiving an accessory, and an accessory-type detector. A motor of the electric tool is coupled to the output driver for driving the accessory. The power tool also includes an operation trigger for activating the motor and a motor controller. The motor controller includes an electronic processor that is coupled to the accessory-type detector, the motor, the operation trigger, and a memory. The memory stores instructions that when executed by the electronic processor cause the motor controller to detect a characteristic of the accessory from output of the accessory-type detector. The motor controller determines an operational characteristic for the accessory based on the detected characteristic, and controls operation of the motor to drive the accessory according to the operational characteristic when the operation trigger is activated.
Apparatus and system for securing a cutting device
The invention relates to an apparatus arranged to secure a portable cutting machine on an elongated profiled object, said apparatus comprising a base adapted to be disposed on an upper surface of the profiled object and at least one arm mounted to the base at right angles to the main extension of said object; the base comprising two parallel, spaced plates with an opening for receiving the object; each plate comprising a central, first contact surface arranged to contact the upper surface of the object; and a second inwardly angled contact surface extending from a first end of the plate towards a corresponding side surface of the object; that the base further comprises a rocker arm having a first end, a central portion and a second end; which rocker arm is mounted pivotable about a first axis at right angles to the parallel plates.
