Vibrating chain saw sharpener
A vibrating chain saw sharpener for sharpening a saw chain that includes a cylindrical body portion; a ring portion connected to and encompassing an intermediate portion of the cylindrical body portion; a flange portion extending away from a bottom portion of the cylindrical body portion; and a hand-held power tool removably connected to an upper portion of the cylindrical body portion. Vibrations transmitted from the hand-held power tool to the ring portion are conveyed to the tooth of the chain saw, wherein the tooth is sharpened by the vibrations conveyed thereto.
CHAINSAW TOOTH SHARPENER APPARATUS AND METHOD OF SHARPENING THEREOF
A chainsaw tooth sharpening tool is presented with a first, e.g., planar, section for reducing a depth gauge of a tooth of the chain and a second section having a geometry for sharpening a cutting corner of the tooth. A chainsaw tooth sharpener apparatus using the chainsaw tooth sharpening tool is also presented. The apparatus comprises a motor for driving a rotative chainsaw tooth sharpening tool to be mounted thereto according to a rotation axis, a base to hold a tooth of a chain to be sharpened, and adjustment means to adjust the motor relative to the base. The adjustment means are adapted to adjust the motor relative to the base according to at least two of a) a depth adjustment, b) a longitudinal adjustment relative to the chainsaw tooth, and c) an angular adjustment relative to the chainsaw tooth.
Portable sharpener
A portable sharpener for chains of chainsaws comprising sharpening means (2) and a coupling device (3). The sharpening means (2) are configured to sharpen the teeth (102) of a chain (101) of a chainsaw. The coupling device (3) supports the sharpening means (2) and is configured to be reversibly constrained to the chainsaw. Furthermore, the coupling device (3) comprises a support structure (4) which has a first plate (4a) adapted to be arranged parallel to a main extension plane of a chain guide bar (100) of the chainsaw and a second plate (4b) configured to abut against the bar (100), in such a way as to be at least partly interposed between the bar and the chain (101). The first and the second plate (4b) are arranged substantially in an L-configuration. The coupling structure further comprises one or more attachment members (5) applied to the first plate (4a) and configured to constrain the support structure (4) to the bar (100) of the chainsaw.
