A machine tool is provided with: a vibration removal device that is provided on a base and that blocks the vibration transmitted from the base; a frame which is disposed on the vibration removal device and on which the machine tool body is placed; a container that is disposed on the base, that is for storing a liquid, and that is connected to a hose for discharging the stored liquid; and a flow path that is provided to the frame and that is for passing the liquid flowing from the machine tool body to the end of the frame and pouring the liquid into the container.
Position adjustment device and ultraprecision machine tool
A position adjustment device for adjusting the height of an object to be supported includes: a fixed portion; a movable portion provided to be movable in the height direction relative to the fixed portion and supporting the object to be supported; an expanding and contracting portion coupled to the fixed portion and the movable portion and configured to expand and contract in the height direction; an adjustment mechanism configured to adjust the position of the movable portion in the height direction relative to the fixed portion; and a metal member fixed to the fixed portion and the movable portion.
SOUND REDUCTION DEVICE AND JOINING METHOD, AND A PART MACHINING METHOD WITH SOUND INSULATION
A sound reduction device for use in a mechanical machining method or a joining method, in particular a pulse-type joining method. The sound reduction device comprises a clamping device by means of which at least one part to be machined can be clamped at a plurality of clamping locations, as well as a plurality of engagement components which engage the part surface at a number of engagement points, in order to damp vibrations of the part. The present disclosure also describes a joining method and a machining method in combination with the sound reduction device.
CUTTER HOLDER WITH VIBRATION RESISTANT STRUCTURE
A cutter holder has a body and a damping assembly. The damping assembly is contained inside the body. The damping assembly has a central damping pole and six auxiliary damping poles. The six auxiliary damping poles are arranged around the central damping pole. The body has a specific weight. The central damping pole has a specific weight larger than the specific weight of the body. Each one of the six auxiliary damping poles has a specific weight larger than the specific weight of the body. The damping assembly is utilized to reduce vibrations caused by machining.
Method of fabricating thin form factor vibration isolators with stable storage modulus properties over extended temperature ranges as standalone parts
A liquid RTV material is calendared and cured to form a sheet of Silicone material. The de-gassing, pressing and curing steps are tailored to provide a low porosity Silicone sheet having a fine surface finish and consistent chemical properties. The sheet is stamped or cut to form standalone vibration isolators having a thin and dimensionally stable form factor of less than 1.25 mm that exhibit a stable storage modulus to temperature excursions below −30° C. and preferably over a range of −60° C. to 100° C.
APPARATUS FOR MACHINING HUBS FOR VEHICLES
Apparatus for machining hubs for vehicles, comprising a first machining group (11) having a first number (n1) of first stations, an inbound transfer station (11a), an outbound transfer station (11b), a loading station (117) and an unloading station (118); a second machining group (12) having a second number (n2) of second stations, an inbound transfer station (12a) and an outbound transfer station (12b); a first rotating table (13) having a number of first workpiece-holder sectors (131) equal to the first number (n1); where the first sectors (131) face the first stations; a second rotating table (14) having a number of second sectors (141) equal to said second number (n2); the second sectors (141) face the second stations; a first transfer group (15) for transferring workpieces between the first machining group (11) and the second machining group (12).
APPARATUS FOR ACTIVE CONTACT FORCE CONTROL IN MACHINING AND HANDLING OPERATIONS
An apparatus for active contact force control is disclosed. The apparatus can have upper flange on which to mount a production tool. The apparatus can be mounted, via a lower flange, on a multi-axis machine to obtain spatial motion together with the corresponding production tool. The apparatus can comprise a housing inside which can be a linear actuator connected to guides. Mechanical connection between a ball screw and the upper flange can contain a force sensor and at least one spherical joint. The connection between the spherical joint and the upper flange can be formed using a mechanical dissipative element made of elastic dissipative elements and a disc plate positioned between the elastic dissipative elements.
Power tool including a battery pack isolation system
A power tool includes a housing, a motor positioned substantially within the housing, a drive mechanism supported by the housing and coupled to the motor, a battery pack electrically coupled to the motor, and an isolation system. The isolation system includes an interface member positioned substantially within the housing. The interface member receives a portion of the battery pack to electrically couple the battery pack to the motor. The isolation system also includes a plurality of isolators coupled between the housing and the interface member to isolate the battery pack from the housing during operation of the power tool.
RECEPTACLE FOR A ROTATING TOOL
A receptacle for a rotating tool includes a rotationally symmetrical, hollow-cylindrical receptacle main body. A through-pipe, which is braced in particular in relation to the receptacle main body, is disposed in a cavity of the receptacle main body so as to be spaced apart from a cylinder barrel of the hollow-cylindrical receptacle main body.
MACHINE TOOL
Provided is a machine tool which can suppress vibration of a spindle head. A machine tool according to one embodiment includes;\: a pair of guide rails which are provided on a surface of a column facing a spindle head side, and which guide the spindle head in a third direction; and a pair of drive shafts which are disposed between the pair of guide rails and are for the spindle head to move relatively in the third direction. When seen from the third direction, the center between the pair of guide rails and the center between the pair of drive shafts are positioned inside a main spindle of the spindle head.
