Motor control device
A motor control device is a motor control device which controls a spindle motor of a machine tool, the device including: a low-pass filter which averages torque command values or drive current values of the spindle motor and calculates averaged load information of the spindle motor; and a time constant calculation unit which calculates, as a time constant of the low-pass filter, a first time constant based on a cut-off frequency according to the rotation number of the spindle driven by the spindle motor, or a second time constant based on a cut-off frequency according to a value produced by multiplying a of cutting tooth number of a tool by the rotation number of the spindle.
TOOL HOLDER HAVING AT LEAST ONE SENSOR
A tool holder having at least one sensor and a transmission device for transmitting the data captured by the sensor to a higher-level controller. The power supply to the sensor or the data module can be interrupted without contact when the tool holder is removed from the machining space of a machine tool. This prevents, for example, the power supply from being discharged while the tool holder is in a magazine outside the machine, and, for example, significantly increases the availability and service life of the tool holder before a battery is replaced, and/or before the accumulator and/or charge storage device is recharged.

DENTAL MILLING MACHINE FOR THE PRODUCTION OF A DENTAL OBJECT
A dental milling machine for producing a dental object having a sensor for detecting signals caused by a machining tool and an electronic controller for controlling the machining tool based on the detected signals.
Systems and methods for real-time monitoring of micromilling tool wear
The wear status of a micro-endmill tool may be inferred by monitoring the chip production rate of the tool in operation. Chips may be extracted from a work area, captured on an adhesive surface, imaged, and counted to determine the chip production rate. When the rate of chip production falls, the feed rate of the micro-endmill may be increased to a level suitable for the current state of tool wear. In this manner, costly and inconvenient work stoppages to evaluate the wear status of a tool are eliminated.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR REAL-TIME MONITORING AND PREDICTING WEAR OF A CUTTING TOOL
A system and method for monitoring and predicting wear of a cutting tool used for machining a workpiece is disclosed. The system includes a cutting tool having a shank and a cutting head. The system also includes a split, modular and wireless wear detection system including one or more sensors mounted to the cutting tool for providing a data signal representative of a physical condition of the system, and a data recording and data transmitting device for recording the data signal from the one or more sensors and for generating and transmitting a data signal to a processor. The processor applies a machine learning data processing technique in real time to monitor and/or predict a condition of various components and/or parameters of the system during a metal cutting operation.
