A motor control apparatus controlling a motor driving a machine tool includes, an abnormal load detecting unit that detects an abnormal load by monitoring a load of the motor, a retract amount storing unit that stores a plurality of retract amounts used when the machine tool performs a retract operation in response to detection of an abnormal load by the abnormal load detecting unit, a retract amount switching unit that switches a retract amount selected from the plurality of retract amounts in accordance with a result of determination of whether the machine tool is processing or not, and a retract amount adding unit that adds a retract amount selected by switching of the retract amount switching unit to an instruction value indicative of a movement amount of the machine tool.
Control device and machine tool
A control device includes: a storage unit that stores a working program and a tool length correction amount; a control unit that causes a table and a spindle to relatively move on the basis of the working program and the tool length correction amount; a region setting unit that sets an interference checking region including a tool held by the spindle on the basis of the tool length correction amount; and an interference determination unit that determines whether the interference checking region interferes or not with obstacles in surroundings of the tool in a case in which the tool and the table are caused to relatively move on the basis of the working program and the tool length correction amount.
MACHINE TOOL COLLISION DETECTING APPARATUS EQUIPPED WITH COLLISION STRESS RELEASING DEVICE
A collision stress releasing device reversely rotates a feed motor by a return amount set in a return amount setter based on a contact position of a movement unit or a collision detection position regarded as a contact position. Generally, a large error does not occur even when the collision detection position is regarded as the contact position, but when the movement unit or the colliding member has low rigidity, a control of setting a return amount in response to the speed of the movement unit or a control of estimating an actual contact position from a rise curve of a load after a collision is more desirable.
High voltage crash prevention device for machine tools
A crash prevention device for a machine tool for preventing the collision of a moving part of the machine tool with other machine tool parts or with a workpiece in a working area of the machine tool includes an isolation mechanism that electrically isolates the moving part from the other machine tool parts or the workpiece. The device includes a detection system with a high voltage generator having a first positive connector electrically connected to the moving part and a negative connector electrically connected to the workpiece or to the other machine tool parts. The high voltage generator generates DC, AC, or pulsating voltage. The detection system includes a discharge detection device that detects an electrical discharge between the moving part and the workpiece or between the moving part and the other machine tool parts, then sends a signal to stop or adapt further relative movement of the moving part.
APPARATUS FOR PROCESSING SHEET-METAL WORKPIECES
Apparatus for processing a sheet-metal workpiece includes a press tool including a bottom die and top die. A press includes a platen which receives the bottom die, and a ram which receives the top die. The press tool is protected by a protective system which detects an idle stroke and includes an adjustable spacer assembly to prevent collision between the top and bottom dies.
HANDHELD POWER TOOL, AND WORKING METHOD USING HANDHELD POWER TOOL AND WORKING PROGRAM
A handheld power tool 10 includes a detection signal acquisition unit 31, a determination unit 32, a display unit 24, a display control unit 34, a motor 14, and a drive control unit 13. The detection signal acquisition unit 31 acquires a detection signal that changes according to the detection strength of rebar W1 in concrete W. The determination unit 32 determines the presence or absence of the rebar W1 based on the acquisition result acquired by the detection signal acquisition unit 31. The display unit 24 displays the presence or absence of the rebar W1 by turning on different lights. The display control unit 34 controls so as to switch the color of the light displayed on the display unit 24 on the basis of the determination result by the determination unit 32. The motor 14 rotationally drives a tip tool 18a that works the concrete W. The drive control unit 13 controls the drive of the motor 14.
Position measuring device and method for operating a position measuring device
A position measuring device includes a scale carrier with a measuring scale. A scanner is configured to generate position signals by scanning the measuring scale. A processor is configured to process the position signals into a digital position value. An interface is configured to communicate with downstream electronics. At least one collision sensor is assigned to the position measuring device, and is configured to generate analog or digital measured values from a time characteristic of which collision events are determinable. The measured values are fed to an evaluator configured to determine the collision events by evaluating the time characteristic of the measured values in a controller.
MACHINE TOOL SYSTEM, AND TOOL DETERMINING METHOD
A machine tool is provided with a main shaft configured to have a tool fitted to a distal end portion thereof, a tool magazine for holding a plurality of tools, a tool exchanging arm for exchanging tools between the tool magazine and the rotary main shaft, and a table for attaching a workpiece, wherein the machine tool machines the workpiece by causing the main shaft and the table to move relative to one another in accordance with a machining program, and wherein the machine tool: is provided with an image capturing device for capturing an image of the tool fitted to a tool holder, and an interference checking device which uses the machining program, and shape data relating to the workpiece, the tool, and the machine tool to simulate machining before machining is carried out, to check for the presence or absence of interference between at least the tool and the workpiece; and acquires the shape data relating to the tool from the interference checking device, generates a two-dimensional tool model from the acquired shape data relating to the tool, compares the two-dimensional tool model with an image of the tool captured by the image capturing device, and determines that the tool is invalid if an amount of displacement between the two-dimensional tool model and the image data is equal to or greater than a prescribed threshold.
Numerical controller
A numerical controller performs control to rotate a turret, which holds a plurality of tools on the outer peripheral portion thereof, thereby moving one (selected tool) of the tools selected by a command to a predetermined position (selected position). The numerical controller sets and holds a partial area of the outer peripheral portion of the turret as an area (passage-prohibited area) prohibited from passing through the selected position and determines whether or not the selected tool is present in the passage-prohibited area or whether or not the passage-prohibited area passes through the selected position as the selected tool is moved to the selected position.
