DEVICE AND METHOD FOR MONITORING A WORK SPINDLE
In a device for recording deformation of a rotor head of a work spindle, at least one magnet is arranged on a stator or a rotor of the spindle, the magnetic field of which penetrates a measurement section of the rotor head, which is traversed by an axial flow of force during clamping of a tool or tool carrier on the rotor head by a tool clamping device arranged in the rotor. The rotor head has a magnetizability or magnetization that varies in the axial direction in its measurement section, and at least one direction-sensitive magnetic field sensor is arranged on the stator radially opposite the measurement section, which is connected to an evaluation device to determine axial deformation of the rotor head as a function of rotation angle from the strength of the magnetic field as a function of rotation angle recorded by the sensor during one revolution of the rotor.
Apparatus for providing a complete tool
An apparatus for provisioning, in particular automatically, a complete tool having a toolholder and a tool, in particular a drilling and/or milling tool. The apparatus has a spindle that can be driven in rotation by a driving device. The spindle has a holding device for holding a toolholder. A measuring device, in particular an optical measuring device, measures a complete tool, held on the spindle. A heating device in the region of the spindle heats a shrink-fit chuck of the toolholder held on the spindle. A cooling device, in particular a cooling device associated with the spindle, enables the spindle and/or the complete tool held on the spindle, to be cooled.
Knife set-up gauge for cutter head of a wood shaper
A set-up gauge for precision alignment of the cutting knives in a cutter head. The set-up gauge utilizes a support bar extending laterally across the wood shaper. Also included is a bracket slidably secured to the support bar and a rod extending outwardly from the bracket, the rod further comprising first end and second ends. Further included is a magnetic disc secured to the second end of the rod, the magnetic disc for contact with a surface of the cutting knives to identify a common inset distance for each of the cutting knives relative to the guide fence.
Device for calibrating drill bill of a chuck
A device for calibrating a drill bit of a chuck includes an intermediate sleeve including two rear curved elements, a front shoulder, internal threads rearward of the shoulder, and an externally threaded extension projecting out of a front end; a front window including a diametrical calibrating line; an externally threaded rim secured to the internal threads to urge the window against the shoulder; and a ring having internal threads secured to the extension. A fastening of the chuck and the device, a loosening of the retainer ring, and a rotation of the rear holding member to rotate the drill bit can align the drill bit with the calibrating line.
MACHINE TOOL AND MACHINE TOOL UNIT
A motor-driven machine tool unit having a stator unit and at least one rotor unit having a rotor shaft that is rotatable about an axis of rotation. The rotor unit includes at least one first bearing unit arranged in the end region of a tool and/or workpiece receptacle, and a second bearing unit arranged at the opposite end region for mounting the rotor shaft in the stator unit. At least one electrical power transmission unit for transmitting electrical power between the stator unit and the rotor unit is provided. The problem addressed by the invention is that of better satisfying the increasing demands on modern machine tools or machine tool units. This problem is solved by the electrical power transmission unit is arranged in the end region opposite the tool and/or workpiece holder and/or on the second bearing unit.
Systems and methods for measuring and adjusting gate openings of slicing machines
Instruments and methods for measuring and adjusting gate openings of a slicing machine utilizing a gauge system that includes a frame, a device for securing the frame to the interior surface of a cutting head, a device for locating the frame relative to a knife and/or a gate of the cutting head that define the gate opening therebetween, and a device mounted to the frame for measuring the gate opening. The measuring device includes an anvil biased in an outward direction relative to the frame, an indicator mounted to the anvil and biased therewith in the outward direction relative to the frame, and a probe of the indicator biased in the outward direction relative to the indicator. The probe and anvil provide a outward measurement of the gate opening based on a differential measurement of surfaces of the knife and gate.
CUTTER HOLDER MEASURING TOOL, CUTTER HOLDER DETECTING SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DETECTING CUTTER HOLDER POSE PARAMETER
A cutter holder measuring tool includes: a base with a positioning point configured to be detected by a detecting device; and a mounting assembly, including a sleeve, a positioning pin and an end plate, wherein two axial ends of the sleeve are connected to the base and the end plate respectively, the end plate is configured to abut against a mounting surface of a cutter holder of a milling rotor, the mounting surface is a surface, facing a tip of a cutter, of the cutter holder, the positioning pin is inserted into the sleeve and a mounting hole, for the cutter to insert, of the cutter holder, the positioning pin is movable along an axial direction of the sleeve, and a diameter of the positioning pin changes along the axial direction of the sleeve, so a center of the positioning pin is collinear with a center of the mounting hole.
Table saw depth gauge
The Table Saw Depth Gauge comprises a gauge, slide scale, or ruler, that is positioned onto a table saw so that the depth that the saw blade will cut into a piece of wood, or board, can be measured by the gauge, slide scale, or ruler prior to cutting, allowing a user of the table saw to confirm saw blade depth prior to making a final cut. The device also comprises a handheld gauge holder that holds the gauge, slide scale, or ruler into place onto the table saw, securing the gauge into the opening of the table insert/throat plate of the table saw. The gauge may be moved relative to the handheld gauge holder to calculate saw blade depth.
