PORTABLE METER FOR MEASURING A FORCE GENERATED BY A MAGNETIC APPARATUS
A portable meter (1) for measuring a force generated by a magnetic apparatus (2), comprising a mobile probe (3) configured to be coupled to the magnetic apparatus (2) whose force needs to be measured, the probe (3) comprising at least one active ferromagnetic element (4) which has a configuration corresponding to that of a pole (N, S) on the magnetic apparatus whose force needs to be measured, the probe being equipped with alignment means (5, 6) configured to align the at least one active ferromagnetic element (4) with at least one magnetic pole (N, S) on the magnetic apparatus (2), the at least one active ferromagnetic element (4) having at least one turn (B)—made of an electrically conductive material—wound around it, and a detection unit (7) interfaced with the at least one turn (B) in order to detect a magnetic flux flowing through the coil at least during a transient of activation/deactivation of the magnetic apparatus.
Automatic Dispensing Device
An automatic dispensing device for dispensing a volatile substance, the device comprising: a fan configured to generate airflow and dispense the volatile substance from the device; a drive apparatus having at least one electromagnetic coil connectable to a drive circuit; wherein the fan comprises at least one magnet located along an arc of the fan and the electromagnetic coil is configured to attract or repel the at least one magnet; wherein the drive circuit is configured to switch the current direction in the electromagnetic coil to sequentially attract and then repel the at least one magnet as the fan rotates.
Magnetic coupling devices
Magnetic coupling devices are disclosed having magnetic field sensors. The magnetic coupling device may include degaussing coils wrapped about pole extension shoes of the magnetic coupling device.
WOODWORKING DEVICE ACCESSORIES
Exemplary accessories for use with woodworking supports of woodworking devices may include a fence for a drill press. The fence may include a plurality of magnetic couplers, a base, and a stop block. An exemplary stop block may include a bearing.
MAGNETIC COUPLING DEVICE WITH AT LEAST ONE OF A SENSOR ARRANGEMENT AND A DEGAUSS CAPABILITY
Magnetic coupling devices are disclosed having magnetic field sensors. The magnetic coupling device may include degaussing coils wrapped about pole extension shoes of the magnetic coupling device.
Fixture assembly for welding operations
A fixture assembly for supporting a plurality of blanks during a welding operation. The fixture assembly includes a frame. A plurality of electromagnets are positioned on the frame for supporting the blanks and for drawing the blanks toward the electromagnets to secure the blanks into a desired position. A plurality of intensifiers are moveably connected to the frame for selectively overlying the top face of one of the electromagnets for clamping the blank against the electromagnet to intensify a magnetic force provided by the electromagnet. A plurality of electromagnet adjusters are each coupled with the frame and with at least one of the electromagnets for moving the electromagnets relative to the frame. A plurality of adjusting pins are each connected to the frame and moveable relative to the frame for adjusting a position of the blanks.
Magnetic chuck
A magnetic chuck includes a cylinder tube including a workpiece attraction surface to which a workpiece is attracted, a piston assembly including a permanent magnet and being movable in an internal space of the cylinder tube, the piston assembly separating the internal space of the cylinder tube into a first pressure chamber and a second pressure chamber, a first supply/discharge port formed in the cylinder tube and communicating with the first pressure chamber, a second supply/discharge port formed in the cylinder tube and communicating with the second pressure chamber, and a communication passage configured to allow the first pressure chamber and the second pressure chamber to communicate with each other.
Universal magnetic table jig assemblies and methods for positioning a workpiece, especially for the fabrication of aircraft structural components
Magnetic table jig assemblies and methods allow workpieces (e.g., aircraft components to be fabricated) on a table top of the table jig assembly to be accurately indexed relative to a robotically operated tool (e.g., a robotically operated drill). The magnetic table jig assembly may include a wheeled frame which is capable of rolling movement across a floor surface, a horizontally planar table top exhibiting ferromagnetic properties supported by the frame and a plurality of magnetic workpiece positioners each including an actuator to magnetically couple and decouple the magnetic workpiece positioner to the table top. The workpiece will therefore be positioning restrained on the table top by magnetically coupling the plurality of the magnetic workpiece positioners to the table top in abutting relationship to a perimetrical edge of the workpiece.
