The invention relates to a processing plant (1) comprising: at least one first working spindle (2); a tool magazine (6) for storing different processing tools (4), wherein at least one storage plane (10) having several tool receiving spaces (11) arranged next to one another is provided in the tool magazine (6); a tool change device (5) comprising at least one first gripper device (13) for exchanging the processing tool (4) held in the working spindle (2), wherein the gripper device (13) comprises at least one first gripper unit (15) and one second gripper unit (16) which are positioned at a gripper-unit distance (17) from one another. The gripper units (15, 16) can be displaced between the working spindle (2) and the tool magazine (6).

The invention relates to a processing plant (1) comprising: at least one first working spindle (2); a tool magazine (6) for storing different processing tools (4), wherein at least one storage plane (10) having several tool receiving spaces (11) arranged next to one another is provided in the tool magazine (6); a tool change device (5) comprising at least one first gripper device (13) for exchanging the processing tool (4) held in the working spindle (2), wherein the gripper device (13) comprises at least one first gripper unit (15) and one second gripper unit (16) which are positioned at a gripper-unit distance (17) from one another.
The gripper units (15, 16) can be displaced between the working spindle (2) and the tool magazine (6).

A machining centre, with a first machining unit formed in a Z-axis direction of a coordinate system formed by three mutually perpendicular axis directions X, Y, Z, and equipped with a machining tool arranged in a machining zone, and a first tool slide movable in an X-axis and Y-axis direction, which can be equipped with a clamping device. The first tool slide has a drive spindle, and the clamping device is rotatable about a first axis of rotation. A second machining unit is operable independently of the first machining unit, and has a second tool slide movable independently of the first tool slide in the Z-axis direction, and a second workpiece positioning unit movable independently of the first workpiece positioning unit in the X-axis and Y-axis direction movable independently of the first tool slide in the Z-axis direction and a second workpiece positioning unit.

A tool magazine (25) includes a revolving holder (33) which rotates about a rotation axis (A-A). The revolving holder (33) includes a set of first seats (47) for receiving tools (U) and a set of second seats (49) for receiving tools. The revolving holder (33) further includes an inner edge (43.2), facing an inner volume (46) defined by the revolving holder (33), and an outer edge (43.1). The outer edge and the inner edge extend around the rotation axis. The first seats (47) are arranged along the outer edge (43.1) and face the opposite direction to the inner volume (46). The second seats (49) are arranged along the inner edge (43.2) and face the inner volume (46).
