Component production method and component production system
A component production method includes: a step of binding a long frame by a plurality of support devices arranged along the frame; a step of measuring, with a distance sensor, a distance to the frame supported by the plurality of support devices; a step in which, based on frame shape data prerecorded in a memory, the support devices move support positions where the frame is supported so that a calculated radial position of the frame being supported by the support devices matches the data about the frame shape; a step of fixing the frame in a state in which the data about the frame shape matches the radial position of the frame; and a step of performing a hole-making operation on the fixed frame.

Adjustment device of grinding machine capable of grinding workpiece in seven-axis directions
An adjustment device of a grinding machine contains: a grinding unit and a tool fixing unit. The grinding unit includes a first guide rail and a second guide rail. The tool fixing unit includes a horizontal rotation mechanism, a locating portion, a third guide rail, a fourth guide rail, and a fifth guide rail. The locating portion is cylindrical, parallel to a second XY plane, and has a rotation axis defined on a center of the locating portion, such that the locating portion rotates along the rotation axis and a tool is positioned on the locating portion to rotatably grind the workpiece at different angles.

Incremental rotary rolling mill and method
A rolling mill system for Incremental rotary shaping of an elongated workpiece is provided that includes first and second workpiece holders. A support frame has a track with the first and second workpiece holders being movably associated with the track, the workpiece holders and an associated workpiece being movable in unison along the track. A radial chuck is mounted to the frame that includes a plurality of jaws that are movable radially inwardly and outwardly. Each jaw has a tool mounted thereto that is rotatable about an axis of rotation, with the axis of rotation of each tool being oriented at a skew angle relative to the longitudinal axis of a workpiece. A source of electric current and an electrically conductive flow path are provided for flowing electrical current through a workpiece. A controller is provided that is configured to control the operation of each of the first motor, second motor and third motor, and to control the flow of current flowing through the tools to the workpiece.
PROCESSING APPARATUS
A processing apparatus includes a chuck table for holding a workpiece that has a mark representing a crystal orientation, a processing unit, a cassette stage for placing thereon a cassette for storing a plurality of workpieces therein, a temporary rest table, a spinner table, a robot for delivering a workpiece, a determining section for determining whether a workpiece has been properly processed or has not been properly processed, and a control unit for performing a control process for orienting the mark of the workpiece in a predetermined direction if the determining section determines that the workpiece has been properly processed and storing the workpiece in the cassette, and performing a control process for orienting the mark of the workpiece in a direction different from the predetermined direction if the determining section determines that the workpiece has not been properly processed and storing the workpiece in the cassette.
Grinding machine
A grinding machine for external cylindrical grinding of hollow shafts may include at least one grinding disc, at least one support disc, and at least two centrings for a face-side fixing of a hollow shaft. At least one of the at least two centrings may be configured as a point. A ruler may be arranged to adjust and hold a position of the hollow shaft during a grinding operation. A rotation axis of the at least one grinding disc and of the at least one support disc may be arranged parallel to one another and define a plane. A rotation axis of the hollow shaft to be ground may extend outside of the plane by a distance of a>12 mm.

Nozzle controller of machine tool
An object is to provide a nozzle controller which can constantly cool a tool in a machine tool. A nozzle controller of a machine tool includes: a tool which is gripped in a spindle of the machine tool; a nozzle in which the angle and/or the position thereof with respect to the tool can be changed and which emits a fluid to the tool; a nozzle drive unit which drives the angle and/or the position of the nozzle; a contact acquisition unit which acquires contact between the tool and a work; and a control unit which controls the nozzle drive unit. The control unit calculates, when the contact acquisition unit acquires the contact, based on a length of the tool and a stroke of a feed axis in the direction of the spindle, the angle and/or the position of the nozzle such that the fluid emitted from the nozzle hits a side surface of the tool, and controls the nozzle drive unit based on the result of the calculation.
