Wrench capable of applying driving force on object effectively
A wrench has a first segment and a second segment pivotally coupled together. The second segment is selectively positionable at various fixed pivotal positions relative to the first segment. The first and the second segments engage with a locking device. The first segment has a first joining end forming a first positioning surface and a second positioning surface. The locking device includes a catch selectively engagable and disengagable from the first and the second positioning surfaces. The catch has a body section abutting against the first positioning surface in a direction radial to the axis of rotation when the first segment is at a first fixed pivotal position relative to the second segment. The first body section is abutted against the second positioning surface in a direction radial to the axis of rotation when the first segment is at a second fixed pivotal position relative to the second segment.
Adjustable wrench
A wrench, connectable to a standard square shaped extension, has a wrench head with opposed jaw faces which together define a plane that lies perpendicular to the respective jaw faces. A standard square shaped extension socket is affixed to the wrench head, where a standard square shaped extension can be inserted into the standard extension socket, along a direction that is non-orthogonal to the transverse plane. The standard extension socket can be attached to a frame of the wrench head, or to a rotatable guide which controls movement the opposed jaw face which is movable.

Adjustable Wrench
An adjustable wrench is disclosed. The adjustable wrench is used for an assembly part. The adjustable wrench includes a frame, an adjustable member, and an engaging element. The adjustable member is adjacent to the frame to form a space between an inner side of the frame, wherein the adjustable member further has a rack. The engaging element is adjacent to the adjustable member and has an engaging portion that meshes with the rack such that, after the adjustable member slides, a position of the engaging portion meshed with the rack is changed so as to change the size of the space; thus, the space can be adjusted to match assembly parts of different specifications.

Offset adjustable wrench
Various offset adjustable wrenches and methods are disclosed herein. The offset adjustable wrench has first and second jaws. The second jaw can be moved relative to the first jaw to grip objects of various sizes. The second jaw can be connected to a sliding element that can reduce or eliminate wobble of the second jaw to improve grip strength. The first and second jaws can be offset from a handle such that a user can grip and rotate an object with the offset adjustable wrench without injuring the user's hand contacting an adjacent surface, such as a wall or ceiling.

The adjustable member has a second rack meshed with the first rack. The adjustable member and the frame are meshed with each other by the first rack and the second rack such that the adjustable member forms a first space inside the frame, wherein the adjustable member adjusts a meshing position of the second rack and the first rack to change the size of the first space; thus, the first space can match assembly parts of different specifications.

Wrench device, and a method of automatically adjusting torque for a fastener of a piece of equipment
A wrench device includes a data receiving component configured to receive, from a transceiver associated with a piece of equipment, information related to a fastener included in the piece of equipment, and a torque value corresponding to the fastener. The wrench device further includes an image sensor configured to capture an image of the fastener, a processor, and a memory communicatively coupled to the processor. The memory stores processor-executable instructions, which, on execution, cause the processor to receive the image of the fastener from the image sensor, receive the information related to the fastener from the data receiving component, identify the fastener by correlating the received image with the information related to the fastener, extract the torque value corresponding to the fastener based on the information upon identification of the fastener, and adjust a torque of the fastener based on the extracted torque value.
ADJUSTABLE WRENCH
An adjustable wrench includes a wrench body, a second jaw and an adjustment mechanism, the wrench body including a first jaw, a neck and a handle, wherein the first jaw is a front end of the wrench body, and the neck is located between the first jaw and the handle. The first jaw is disposed opposite the second jaw to form a holding space for holding an object. The neck is provided with a through hole, the adjustment mechanism is disposed in the through hole, and the second jaw is movably connected to the neck of the wrench body by the adjustment mechanism. The adjustment mechanism is used to adjust the movement of the second jaw relative to the first jaw. The adjustable wrench therefore includes a jaw that can move relatively fast and can also be effectively prevented from skidding or returning.
