Tool with charge advance mechanism
A powder actuated fastening tool including a charge advance apparatus for advancing a powder charge strip relative to a barrel of the tool, wherein the charge advance apparatus includes a rotatable ratchet having teeth for engaging receptacles formed in the powder charge strip, and a charge advance member coupled to a trigger of the tool, wherein the charge advance member acts on the rotatable ratchet to rotate the ratchet in response to actuation and/or release of the trigger, such that the rotation of the ratchet causes advance of the powder charge strip relative to the barrel.
FASTENING ELEMENT
A fastening element (10) for attaching a component to a support structure in a fastening direction (20), comprising a receptacle (30) receiving a tool nose (110) of a setting tool and having an abutment face (40) and a trap element (50), the abutment face (40) facing against the fastening direction (20) and abutting a front face (130) of the tool nose (110) when the tool nose (110) is received in the receptacle (30), the trap element (50) locking the tool nose (110) in the receptacle (30) in the fastening direction (20), and a slide-in channel (60) allowing sliding the tool nose (110) into the receptacle (30) and having one or more guide elements (70) guiding the tool nose (110) in a sliding direction (80) when the tool nose (110) is slid into the receptacle (30), wherein the sliding direction (80) is oblique to the fastening direction (20).
Fastener driving tool
A fastener driving tool including a housing and a workpiece contact element movably connected to the housing, where the workpiece contact element is movable between a rest position and an activated position. A trigger assembly including a bottom assembly and a top assembly is movably connected to the housing. The tool includes an actuation lever movably connected to the bottom assembly of the trigger assembly and movable between a rest position and an engaged position. The top assembly includes a downwardly extending block configured to engage the actuation lever. A damper mechanism is associated with the actuation lever and is configured to control a rate of movement of the actuation lever.

Fastening tool having a tool-free depth adjustment mechanism
A fastening tool having a depth adjustment mechanism mounted on a longitudinally movable door of a nosepiece assembly. The depth adjustment mechanism including a depth adjustment wheel having an internal threaded section extending along an axis and being rotatable about said axis; and an adjustment screw disposed within the depth adjustment wheel and engaging the door plate, the adjustment screw having an external threaded section that engages the internal threaded section of the depth adjustment wheel, so that a rotational movement of the depth adjustment wheel with respect to the adjustment screw effects a relative axial movement of the adjustment screw and the longitudinal movement of the door to increase and decrease the depth that a fastener is driven into a workpiece.
DOSING LEVER FOR FASTENER DRIVING TOOL
A combustion powered fastener driving tool including a dosing lever that reduces the likelihood of causing inconsistent amounts of fuel to be dispensed by the fuel supply assembly of the tool.
DOSING LEVER FOR FASTENER DRIVING TOOL
A combustion powered fastener driving tool including a dosing lever that reduces the likelihood of causing inconsistent amounts of fuel to be dispensed by the fuel supply assembly of the tool.
DRIVE BLADE LUBRICATION ASSEMBLY AND POWERED FASTENER DRIVER CONTAINING THE SAME
A drive blade lubrication assembly for use in a powered fastener driver (10). The powered fastener driver (10) contains a drive blade (42) which snap-fits with a reciprocating piston (58) by a blade seal (103) assembly. The drive blade lubrication assembly contains a lubricant applying member adapted to apply lubricant to a portion of the drive blade (42); and a lubricant storing device which is in fluid communication with the lubricant applying member. The lubricating storing device is adapted to replenish the lubricant in the lubricant applying member. A powered fastener driver (10) containing a drive blade lubrication assembly is also described. The use of the lubricant storing device in the present invention ensures that lubricant is continuously supplied to the drive blade (42) after long time usage of the powered fastener driver (10), so that friction between the drive blade and the blade seal assembly is minimized
Fastener driving tool
A fastener driving tool injects a fastener from an injection passage formed in a leading end of a tool main body. The injection passage includes therein a guide portion formed along a driving direction of the fastener for guiding the fastener. The guide portion is formed by providing contours having mutually different distances from a center of the injection passage in a cross-section of the injection passage.
EXPLOSIVE DISCHARGE ACTUATED TOOL FOR DRIVING FASTENERS
An explosive discharge actuated tool includes a piston disposed in a barrel to be driven by a combustion gas for exerting a striking power to strike a fastener out of the barrel. A power adjusting unit is disposed to adjust an opening area of an exhaust port for the combustion gas, and includes an adjusting pin movable longitudinally to completely or partially close the exhaust port so as to adjust the striking power, and an engaging block coupled to the adjusting pin through a latch spindle to be moved transversely to allow or prevent movement of the adjusting pin relative to the exhaust port.
