A nail gun includes a nail gun body unit, and a magazine unit. The nail gun body unit has a drive module, a nail-discharging section, and a firing channel that is formed in the nail-discharging section, and that extends along a firing axis. The nail-discharging section has a base segment, and a guide segment having a guide surface. The base segment has a tip section that has a tip face. The tip face and the guide surface have a height difference in the direction of the firing axis. The magazine unit is connected to the nail gun body unit, and is adapted to accommodate nails. The drive module is adapted for firing the nails that are positioned within the firing channel to move along the firing axis.

NAIL GUN NOZZLE MECHANISM AND NAIL GUN HAVING THE SAME
20220371170 · 2022-11-24 · ·

A nail gun nozzle mechanism includes a clamping wall, a retaining wall, and a switch unit. The clamping wall defines a firing space. The retaining wall defines a withdrawn space that is in spatial communication with the firing space. The switch unit includes a linkage member, and a bracket member. The bracket member is movable relative to the clamping wall between a firing position, where the bracket member is distal from the clamping wall and is disposed in the withdrawn space, and a non-firing position, where the bracket member is proximate to the clamping wall and blocking at least a portion of the firing space. The linkage member resiliently biases the bracket member toward the non-firing position.

Protective shield for use with a staple gun

A staple gun and a method of using the same. A stapling mechanism in the housing is activated to deliver a staple through an aperture in a housing wall and drive the staple into a surface around a stack of one or more electric cables. The gun includes a reciprocating cable guide for centering the gun on the stack of cables and closing a safety switch to permit the gun's trigger to be activated. A spacer extending outwardly from the housing wall rests on the upper surface of the cable stack. The spacer and a bumper that engages a hammer of the stapling mechanism provide for automatic depth adjustment when driving the staple into the surface. A reciprocating cable guard extending outwardly from the housing wall is positioned between the stack of cables and the staple to aid in preventing the staple from piercing the cable.

DRIVING TOOL
20220355452 · 2022-11-10 ·

A driving tool capable of suppressing the increase in the number of components is provided. The driving tool includes an ejection unit 23 to which a fastener is supplied and a striking unit capable of moving with respect to the ejection unit 23 so as to drive the fastener supplied to the ejection unit 23 into a workpiece, and the driving tool further includes a first push lever 74 capable of contacting with and separating from the workpiece and capable of moving with respect to the ejection unit 23, a second push lever 135 capable of moving in conjunction with the first push lever 74, and a blade guide 120 and a cover 30 having a function to guide a movement of the first push lever 74 and the second push lever 135 with respect to the ejection unit 23 in a predetermined direction.

Fastening tool having a tool-free depth adjustment mechanism
11607786 · 2023-03-21 · ·

A fastening tool having a depth adjustment mechanism mounted on a longitudinally movable door of a nosepiece assembly. The depth adjustment mechanism including a depth adjustment wheel having an internal threaded section extending along an axis and being rotatable about said axis; and an adjustment screw disposed within the depth adjustment wheel and engaging the door plate, the adjustment screw having an external threaded section that engages the internal threaded section of the depth adjustment wheel, so that a rotational movement of the depth adjustment wheel with respect to the adjustment screw effects a relative axial movement of the adjustment screw and the longitudinal movement of the door to increase and decrease the depth that a fastener is driven into a workpiece.

DRIVE BLADE LUBRICATION ASSEMBLY AND POWERED FASTENER DRIVER CONTAINING THE SAME
20170326715 · 2017-11-16 ·

A drive blade lubrication assembly for use in a powered fastener driver (10). The powered fastener driver (10) contains a drive blade (42) which snap-fits with a reciprocating piston (58) by a blade seal (103) assembly. The drive blade lubrication assembly contains a lubricant applying member adapted to apply lubricant to a portion of the drive blade (42); and a lubricant storing device which is in fluid communication with the lubricant applying member. The lubricating storing device is adapted to replenish the lubricant in the lubricant applying member. A powered fastener driver (10) containing a drive blade lubrication assembly is also described. The use of the lubricant storing device in the present invention ensures that lubricant is continuously supplied to the drive blade (42) after long time usage of the powered fastener driver (10), so that friction between the drive blade and the blade seal assembly is minimized
