VACUUM BIT ASSEMBLY WITH REPLACEABLE DRILL BIT
20220324035 · 2022-10-13 ·

A vacuum bit assembly includes an adapter having first and second ends, a central bore defined in the first end, and a locking member extending into the central bore. The vacuum bit assembly includes a drill bit having a workpiece engaging end, a connection, and a suction channel extending between the workpiece engaging and connection ends. The drill bit defines an axis of rotation that extends centrally through the drill bit between the workpiece engaging and connection ends and centrally through the adapter between the first and second ends. The drill bit includes an elongated slot adjacent the connection end. The elongated slot receives the locking member to secure the drill bit to the adapter. The vacuum bit assembly further includes a collar to selectively secure the locking member in the elongated slot. The locking member is axially movable within the elongated slot during operation of the vacuum bit assembly.

CONCRETE ANCHOR DRIVER TOOL
20170341212 · 2017-11-30 ·

The disclosed concrete anchor driver tool is coupled to a rotary hammer drill to install a concrete anchor. The tool includes a rod having multi-faceted bolt head end, such as a hexagonal bolt head end, and a socket having a multi-faceted opening in the socket end of the socket. The socket is slipped over the rod and held against the bolt head end of the rod by a compressible spring. The concrete anchor driver tool is operated by coupling the concrete anchor driver tool to a rotary hammer drill, slipping the socket over the concrete anchor, and operating the drill in the hammer mode to hammer the concrete anchor bolt into the concrete. The rotary hammer drill is then put in rotate mode and used to rotate the concrete anchor driver tool rod, which rotates the socket, which, in turn, tightens the nut on the concrete anchor.

Door breacher

A door breaching device comprising: a longitudinal chassis having a first and a second extremity; a piston assembly located at said first extremity of the chassis, said piston assembly comprising a piston rod, said piston rod having, at a first end, a head and a second end located inside a piston chamber, said piston chamber having two opposite ends, a first end having an opening adapted for the movement of the piston rod therethrough and a second end located opposite said first end; wherein said piston rod is adapted for linear displacement between a first position where the second end of the piston rod is positioned at the second end of the piston chamber and a second position where the second end of the piston rod is at the first end of the piston chamber; a motor operatively connected to a hydraulic pump which is operatively connected to the piston chamber; a control unit for user input, said control unit being operatively connected to the motor; a two-part head assembly comprising: a fixed jaw, attached to the first extremity of the chassis; and a movable jaw, operatively connected to the piston rod of the piston assembly; wherein, in the rest position, the piston rod is in a retracted position to allow the fixed jaw and the movable jaw form a L-shaped extension from the chassis, and upon actuation, the piston rod moves outwardly from the retracted position, the fixed jaw braces the device against an element of a door and frame assembly, while the movable jaw applies a linear force to an opposite element of the door and frame assembly thereby having the movable jaw and fixed jaw form a F-shaped extension from the chassis.

Apparatus for limiting equipment burden when penetrating a mixed or composite material structure including metal utilizing a hammer-drill

A drill bit in conjunction with a hammer-drill to penetrate composite metal and non-metal structure or structures including, for example, thick metal or rebar encountered during concrete, rock or masonry boring operations without requiring a change in drill equipment.

DOOR BREACHER

A door breaching device includes a longitudinal chassis having a first extremity, a piston assembly with a piston rod adapted for linear displacement within a piston chamber, a hydraulic pump operatively connected to the piston assembly, and a two-part head assembly with a fixed jaw attached to the first extremity of the longitudinal chassis and a moveable jaw operatively connected to an end of the piston rod proximate to the first extremity. When the device is in a rest position, the piston rod is in a retracted position within the piston chamber to allow portions of the fixed jaw and the moveable jaw to fit between a first surface and a second surface. Upon actuation of the door breaching device, the piston rod is linearly displaced from the retracted position and the movable jaw applies a force to increase a distance between the first surface and the second surface.

TOOL BIT
20230302619 · 2023-09-28 ·

A tool bit for use with a power tool having a chuck and an anvil. The tool bit has a body defining the first end of the tool bit, and a shank coupled to the body and defining the second end of the tool bit. The shank includes a slot, a ball detent, and a projection. The slot is formed through the second end and is configured to receive a portion of the chuck to transfer rotational movement from the power tool to the tool bit. The ball detent is spaced circumferentially from the slot and is configured to receive a locking sphere of the chuck to lock the tool bit with the chuck. The projection is configured to contact a surface of the chuck and limit insertion of the shank into the chuck, thereby providing a space between the second end of the tool bit and the anvil.
