Pushing out a plate-shaped workpiece part that has been cut free

A machine for separative machining of a plate-shaped workpiece that has: a first movement unit for moving the workpiece in a first direction (X); a second movement unit for moving a machining head for the separative machining in a second direction (Y); and two workpiece bearing faces for bearing the workpiece. A gap that extends along the second direction (Y) is formed between the workpiece bearing faces. The machine has a push-out unit having a push-out element, wherein the push-out element is movable at least in the second direction (Y) within the gap so as to press, at a predefined push-out position (AP), against a workpiece part that was cut free from the workpiece during separative machining. The disclosure further relates to methods for pushing out a workpiece part which, in particular, was cut free on such a machine.

In some examples, a blank separating device includes an upper blank separating module and a lower blank separating module. The lower blank separating module may include at least three supporting elements, each including at least one supporting surface for bracing blanks or scrap pieces. Further, the at least three supporting elements may be arranged so as to be positionable in at least three positions in the vertical direction, and two of the at least three supporting elements may be configured as supporting elements of a lower separating tool. Additionally, at least two supporting elements of the lower separating tool may each be arranged at least in three positions.

Method of machining plate-like workpieces

In the context of a method for the separating machining of plate-like work-pieces from an elastically deformable material, in particular for the separating machining of sheet metal, two workpiece parts are separated from one another, in that the two workpiece parts are initially partially separated from one another, so as to produce at least one connecting web connecting the two workpiece parts to one another, and in that the two workpiece parts are then separated from one another completely by re-moving the connection created by the connecting web. The at least one connecting web is created as a flexure bearing in this case that connects the two workpiece parts to one another in such a manner that the two workpiece parts are movable relative to one another with elastic deformation of the connecting web against the action of a restoring force.

METHOD AND DEVICES FOR WORKPIECE SEPARATION AND FOR DIVIDING UP A REMAINING GRID OF A WORKPIECE SEPARATION

A method for shredding a scrap skeleton produced as a machining product of separating machining of a plate-like workpiece and having a scrap skeleton main plane is provided. The method includes creating an incomplete joint having a course along a separating line running in a longitudinal direction. The scrap skeleton is machined for separation along the separating line. A breakable residual connection arranged along the separating line is established between a first scrap skeleton part and a second scrap skeleton part. The method further includes, after the incomplete joint is created, deflecting the first scrap skeleton part and the second scrap skeleton part relative to one another perpendicularly to the scrap skeleton main plane so that the residual connection between the first scrap skeleton part and the second scrap skeleton part breaks, thereby separating the first scrap skeleton part and the second scrap skeleton part from one another.
