The actuating part (1) has a rotary drive by means of which a food item (4) for comminution can be rotated relative to a spiral cutting part (6).

Oscillating blade for food processor system

A food processing system includes a container for receiving a food item processed by said food processing system. A configuration of said processing performed by said food processing system is determined by a position of the food item as it enters said container.

FOOD PREPARATION DEVICES, SYSTEMS AND ACCESSORIES USED THEREIN

A food processor (100) with a food preparation vessel (102), a base (104) housing a drive motor (111) and a spindle assembly (140) for detachable engagement with an accessory (109) for rotation in the preparation vessel (102). The spindle assembly (140) has a gear assembly such that the accessory (109) is driven at a speed that differs from that of the drive motor (111).

Tension knife for cutting food products

A tension knife includes an elongate knife body with a thin, flat profile. The tension knife defines first and second mounting points at opposing ends of the knife body. The knife body has a characteristic width across a length of the knife body between the first and second mounting points. The characteristic width of the knife body defines a centerline between a leading edge of the knife body and a trailing edge of the knife body. One or more of the first and second mounting points has a focus between the centerline of the knife body and the leading edge. A frame can be configured to support and tension the tension knife to form a tension knife assembly. Clamp blocks can be used to mount the tension knife to the frame at the first and second mounting points, where one or more of the clamp blocks is configured to rotate with respect to the frame to tension the leading edge of the tension knife.

Hand-operated vegetable cutter appliance

A hand-operated lettuce-cutting appliance with a chassis has a cutter grid and positioning device for positioning the chassis on at least one support. The appliance further includes a guide well having a bottom end extending adjacent to and facing said cutter grid and a vegetable-pusher device mounted to slide along at least one column fastened to the chassis so as to extend parallel to the well. The vegetable-pusher device has a body shaped so as to engage in the well in order to push the vegetable through the cutter grid.

A deagglomerator for use in resizing masses of cells is disclosed. The deagglomerator may include a plurality of apertures defined by a plurality of front and back edges. The masses of cells may be passed through the plurality of apertures from the front to the back, and from the back to the front, repeatedly. The deagglomerator may also include a plurality of blades that may aid in the deagglomeration of the cell masses. The deagglomerator may be configured between two syringes so that the tissue may be passed back and forth from the first syringe through the device to the second syringe, and then back again from the second syringe through the device and to the first syringe. In this way, the masses of cells may be properly deagglomerated.

Food treatment apparatus equipped with a pushing device

The invention relates to a food treatment apparatus, comprising a frame, a treatment chamber apt to receive a treatment tool and a feed channel formed by side walls with an open side for inserting food. A pushing device is configured to be inserted within the feed channel to press food towards the treatment tool. The pushing device comprises a pusher support lever pivotally movable relative to the frame around a pivot axis and a pusher rod slidably coupled to the pusher support lever to slide along a sliding axis. Side walls are configured to allow the pusher support lever to be rotated around the pivot axis and at the same time to allow the pusher rod to be translated along said sliding axis while the pushing device is moved from an open position towards a closed position.

MODIFIED DICING PROCEDURE FOR A FOOD PROCESSOR

A food processing device (10) includes a drive assembly coupled to a dualaction cutting tool (20) and a single-action dicing tool (40). First and second cutting assemblies (51, 52) are disposed on the cutting tool (20) and are adapted to make first and second cuts in a food substrate as the cutting tool (20) rotates within a food processing path (26). The cutting tool (20) is further adapted to urge the cut food substrate towards and through the dicing tool (40) where generally parallel spaced-apart blades (66) further cut the food substrate to form diced food elements. The sequential cutting arrangement of the cutting tool (20) and the dicing tool (40) provides for a food processing device (10) that is capable of dicing a food substrate with lower torque and lower power requirements as compared to conventional dicing methods.
