AN AUTOMATED IN-MOLD LABEL HANDLING AND PRODUCT UNLOADING DEVICE FOR A USE WITH A PLASTIC MATERIAL INJECTION MOLDING MACHINE
An automated in-mold label handling and product unloading device for use with a plastic material injection molding machine includes a label handling arm provided with a label holder at an outer end thereof, and a product unloading arm provided with a product gripper at an outer end thereof. The device has a stationary frame and a first linear guide device that supports the label handling arm so as to reciprocate along a y-axis direction. The device has a second linear guide device that supports the product unloading arm so as to reciprocate along a y-axis direction. The first and second linear guide devices are guided relative to the frame to be movable parallel to the x-axis. A label handling arm x-axis drive mechanism has a first drive motor mounted on the frame and a first transmission coupled to said first drive motor and to the first linear guide device.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR DECORATING AN INJECTION-MOLDED PART, AND INJECTION MOLDED-PART
A method and a device (20) for decorating an injection-molded part (40), and an injection-molded part (40). The method for decorating an injection-molded part (40) includes the following steps, which are in particular carried out in the following order: a) providing a transfer film in the form of a roll (10) b) cutting the transfer film to size to form at least one label (30, 11) c) laying the at least one label (30) in an injection-molding apparatus (21) by means of a robot arm (24, 12) d) closing the injection-molding apparatus (21, 13) e) back-injection molding the at least one label (30) by means of an injection-molding compound (14) f) opening the injection-molding apparatus (21) and removing the injection-molded part (40, 15).
Method of manufacturing a moulded article
A method of manufacturing a moulded article from first and second moulding compounds includes attaching a first moulding component to a carrier tool, placing the carrier tool and the attached first moulding component in a mould, applying a first moulding process, removing the carrier tool, placing a second moulding component in the mould, and applying a second moulding process to shape the first and second moulding components and bond the first moulding component to the second moulding component. A moulded article is also disclosed.
METHOD OF MANUFACTURING A MOULDED ARTICLE AND MOULDED ARTICLE OBTAINED THEREBY
A method of manufacturing a moulded article from first and second moulding compounds includes attaching a first moulding component to a carrier tool, placing the carrier tool and the attached first moulding component in a mould, applying a first moulding process, removing the carrier tool, placing a second moulding component in the mould, and applying a second moulding process to shape the first and second moulding components and bond the first moulding component to the second moulding component. A moulded article is also disclosed.
HEATING DEVICE
A heating device with an oven into which a semi-finished product to be heated can be moved in and out, with a wire support formed from several wires spaced apart from one another, and on which the semi-finished product is able to be positioned, and with structure for moving the wire support into the oven and out therefrom. In order to both enable a method with high speeds of travel and at the same time able to use one and the same wire support for differently shaped semi-finished products. The wires can be electrically conductive and the selected wires can be acted upon with a voltage and thereby be heated, wherein the voltage is able to be set and/or controlled in such a way that the wires can adopt a predefinable temperature. Through suitable heating of the wires, the semi-finished product can be fixed on the wire support by fusing.
TOOLING SYSTEMS AND METHODS TO FORM DECORATIVE MATERIAL ON A WORK-PIECE
A tooling system to form decorative material on a work-piece comprises a first mold and a second mold to receive and work-piece and the decorative material, a support configured to detachably connect the work-piece. The first mold includes a first lower mold piece, and a first left upper mold piece and a first right upper mold piece, and the second mold includes a second lower mold piece, and a second left upper mold piece and a second right upper mold piece. The support is configured to move the work-piece into or out the first and second molds consecutively during a process to form two layers of decorative material on the work-piece.
