The invention relates to an apparatus and to a method for establishing a connection having material continuity or having material continuity and shaping matching or for separating such a connection of at least one metal or ceramic component and of a component formed from or by a thermoplastic polymer in which the components to be joined together can be pressed together by a pressing device having a counterholder and a plunger. A heating device is present at the plunger and/or at the counterholder or acts there. A heating of the at least one metal or ceramic component up to above the softening temperature of the component formed from or by polymer can be achieved with the heating device, with the heating device being having at least one electrical resistance heating element that is covered by an electrically insulating, preferably ceramic, protective film, and/or having at least one laser beam that is directed to the metal component(s) within the joining region, and/or having at least one inductor present at the plunger and/or at the counterholder for the inductive heating of the meal component(s).
Method for welding a connection between a first joining surface of a first molded part and a second joining surface of a second molded part
The invention relates to a method for welding a connection between a first joining surface of a first molded part and a second joining surface of a second molded part, which by means of a clamping device are moved and braced with their joining surfaces in contact with one another, wherein the first molded part is at least partially transparent for a primary beam of a first radiation source and at least partially absorbent for a secondary beam of a second radiation source, and the second molded part is at least partially absorbent for the primary beam, wherein sequentially the second molded part is irradiated with the primary beam and the first molded part is irradiated with the secondary beam.
METHOD OF BONDING THERMOPLASTIC RESIN AND METAL
The method of metal-thermoplastic resin direct bonding is characterized by comprising a first step for irradiating a surface of the metal material with a pulse laser under an oxidizing atmosphere to form a surface modification region, a second step for causing the thermoplastic resin material to abut against the surface modification region to form a bonding interface, and a third step for heating up the bonding interface by laser irradiation to achieve bonding, the first step including forming metal oxide particle clusters obtained when metal oxide particles having a particle diameter of 5-500 nm to be continuously bonded at the surface modification region, so that the maximum height (Sz) of a surface of the metal oxide particle clusters is 50 nm-3 .Math.m.
LASER WELDED STRUCTURE, ELECTRONIC CONTROLLER AND MANUFACTURE METHOD FOR LASER WELDED STRUCTURE
A laser welded structure is formed by laser welding together a resin molded body formed from a thermoplastic polymer alloy containing a crystalline resin and an amorphous resin and a metal body made of a metal. A glass transition temperature of the amorphous resin is lower than a melting start temperature of the crystalline resin.
RESIN MOLDED PRODUCT AND WELDING APPARATUS
There is provided a resin molded product including a first member and a second member which are laser welded. A laser welded portion includes a first welding portion which is welded by laser welding of galvano method and a second welding portion which is welded by laser welding of flash method or laser welding of scanning method.
Laser welding of transparent and opaque materials
Welding of transparent material in electronic devices. An electronic device may include an enclosure having at least one aperture formed through a portion of the enclosure. The electronic device may also include a component positioned within the aperture formed through the portion of the enclosure. The component may be laser welded to the aperture formed through the enclosure. Additionally, the component may include transparent material. A method for securing a component within an electronic device may include providing an electronic device enclosure including at least one aperture, and positioning a component within the aperture formed through the enclosure. The component positioned within the aperture may include a transparent material. The method may also include welding the component to the electronic device enclosure.
Method for welding synthetic resin member
A protrusion on a first member made of synthetic resin wherein a laser beam is applied to a side surface of the protrusion in a state in which a top surface of the protrusion of the first member is abutted against a second member made of synthetic resin, so as to melt at least the entire top surface of the protrusion and melt a portion of the second member in contact with the protrusion by heat of the melted top surface of the protrusion, followed by solidification of the melted portions, whereby the first member and the second member are welded together.
Laser activation
A method for roughening a surface of a body by a laser, the laser acting on the surface of a body and thereby creating recesses in the surface, and the laser thereby being directed and guided onto the surface and set in terms of its power output in such a way that recesses with at least two substantially different depths are created in the surface of the body.
METAL-RESIN JOINING METHOD
A metal-resin joining method of joining a metal member to a composite material member including a fiber reinforced plastic composite material includes an applying step of applying a first adhesive that is a thermosetting adhesive to a first region between the metal member and the composite material member, and applying a second adhesive that is a thermosetting adhesive to a second region between the metal member and the composite material member, a provisional bonding step of irradiating a first irradiation region of the metal member opposed to the first region with a laser light, and heating and curing the first adhesive to provisionally bond the metal member and the composite material member together, and a main bonding step of curing the second adhesive after the provisional bonding step to bond the metal member and the composite material member together.
