Protective film and method for peeling release layer thereof

Disclosed is a protective film, which includes: a protective film sheet; a protective layer; and a release layer, a lead tab is connected to an end part of the release layer, and a positioning mechanism is arranged on the protective layer to align the protective film sheet with a screen of an electronic device.

Method and apparatus for suction alignment

A method of aligning a first and a second structure, the first structure comprising one or more first surface relief features and a channel system communicating with a surface of the first structure at one or more of the first surface relief features, the second structure comprising one or more second surface relief features shaped complementarily to the first surface relief features; the method comprising: generating suction in the channel system to draw the first and second structures together in a drawing direction; wherein, when the first and second structures are drawn together, the interaction between one or more of the first surface relief features and one or more of the second surface relief features aligns the structures in a plane perpendicular to the drawing direction such that the first and second surface relief features mate.

Peel and place dressing for negative-pressure therapy

A dressing for treating a tissue site with negative pressure may comprise a cover having an adhesive, a manifold, a perforated polymer film, and a perforated silicone gel having a treatment aperture. The cover, the manifold, the perforated polymer film, and the perforated silicone gel may be assembled in a stacked relationship with the cover and the perforated silicone gel enclosing the manifold. The perforated polymer film may be at least partially exposed through the treatment aperture, and at least some of the adhesive may be exposed through the perforated silicone around the treatment aperture.

LAMINATING AUXILIARY JIG FOR MULTILAYER COMPOSITE MATERIAL AND METHOD OF USING THE SAME
20230067711 · 2023-03-02 ·

A laminating auxiliary jig includes a base having an accommodating recess, and a pressing plate pivotably attached to the base and having a positioning trough. When the pressing plate is opened, it is separated from the accommodating recess, which a first composite material is put into. When the pressing plate is closed, it is located in the accommodating recess and pressed on the first composite material, the positioning trough communicates with the accommodating recess, and at least one middle foam material is put into the positioning trough to be positioned and attached to the first composite material. When the pressing plate is opened again, a second composite material is put into the accommodating recess to be attached to the middle foam material. Therefore, the laminating auxiliary jig helps a user quickly complete laminating the multilayer composite material. The method of using the laminating auxiliary jig is also provided.

Status indication for negative pressure wound therapy

Systems and methods for controlling a pump system for use in negative pressure wound therapy are described herein. In some embodiments, a method for controlling a pump system includes causing provision of negative pressure, via a flow path, to a wound dressing configured to be positioned over a wound, the flow path configured to fluidically connect the pump system to the wound dressing, measuring a first pressure value in the flow path at a first time, measuring a second pressure value in the flow path at a second time, calculating a first rate of pressure change using the first and second pressure values, and in response to determining that the calculated first rate of pressure change satisfies a threshold rate of change, providing an indication that the wound dressing is full, wherein the method is performed under control of a controller of the pump system.

NEGATIVE PRESSURE WOUND THERAPY APPARATUS AND METHODS

Systems and methods for controlling a pump system for use in negative pressure wound therapy are described herein. In some embodiments, a method for controlling a pump system includes applying a drive signal to a pump assembly of the pump system, the drive signal alternating between a positive amplitude and a negative amplitude and the drive signal having an offset, and sampling a pressure within a fluid flow path configured to connect the pump system to a wound dressing configured to be placed over a wound during one or more time intervals. Each of the one or more time intervals can occur when the drive signal is approximately at an amplitude equal to one or more sampling amplitudes.

METHOD OF ANCHORING A FIRST OBJECT IN A SECOND OBJECT

A first object is anchored in a second object. The first object has a material with thermoplastic properties, and the second material has a material that is solid and is penetrable by the first material when in a liquefied state. The second object has an insertion face with an opening having a mouth in the insertion face, and the first object has an insert portion that for anchoring is placed in the opening or about the mouth thereof. For anchoring, energy suitable for liquefaction of the first material impinges in an amount and for a time sufficient for at least partial liquefaction of the first material and interpenetration of the first and second materials. The second object, around the opening, has an anisotropic strength with respect to forces perpendicular to the opening axis.

ANCHORING A JOINING ELEMENT IN AN OBJECT

A joining element has an anchoring portion for in-depth anchoring in the object and a head portion arranged proximally of the anchoring portion with respect to an insertion axis. The head portion has a lateral outer surface that has a structure that is well-defined, especially within tight tolerances. The joining element is positioned relative to an object of a non-liquefiable material such that the anchoring portion reaches into an opening of the object or is placed adjacent a mouth thereof. Then, the joining element is pressed towards a distal direction, to press the anchoring portion into the opening, while mechanical vibration energy is coupled into the joining element by a tool, in an amount and for a time sufficient for liquefaction of a portion of the thermoplastic material to cause interpenetration of the thermoplastic material into structures of the object.
