Vulcanization mold for tire and method for manufacturing tire
A vulcanization mold is for a tire in which a plurality of sipes are arranged in a tire circumferential direction. The vulcanization mold includes a tread mold having a plurality a blades, for forming the sipes, provided on a tread forming surface. The tread mold is composed of a plurality of segments divided in the tire circumferential direction such that the segments are movable in a tire radial direction, and the number of divisions of the segments is 17 or more and 29 or less.
TIRE AND A LAMELLA PLATE FOR THE MANUFACTURE OF A SIPE OF A TIRE
A lamella plate for forming a sipe to a tire includes a first surface and an opposite second surface. The first surface has a first primary plate indentation and a first primary plate protrusion, and the second surface has a second primary plate protrusion opposite to the first primary plate indentation and a second primary plate indentation opposite to the first primary plate protrusion. The first surface defines a first primary lamella plate surface having a planar or a curved surface, from which the first primary plate protrusion protrudes and into which the first primary plate indentation descends. The second surface defines a second primary lamella plate surface having a planar surface or a curved surface, from which the second primary plate protrusion protrudes and into which the second primary plate indentation descends. A tire includes a primary first sipe producible in a molding process using the lamella plate.
Pneumatic tire, a tread band, and a tread block comprising a sipe, and a lamella plate for the manufacture thereof
A pneumatic tire is provided with sipes, at least some of which have an open top end to the surface of the tread block. An intersection of the sipe with a surface that is geometrically congruent and parallel with the surface of the tread block and arranged a depth apart from the surface of the tread block into the tread block forms a curved line. A first sipe is shaped in such a way, that at all depths (d) within a range from the open top of the first sipe to a first transition depth, the curved line includes at least one deflection point having an inner corner that has a radius of curvature under 0.3 mm. A lamella plate for manufacturing the pneumatic tire, the tread band, or the tread block. Use of the lamella plate for manufacturing a tread block, a tread band, or a pneumatic tire.
Pneumatic tire, tire vulcanization mold, and method of manufacturing pneumatic tire
A pneumatic tire includes: a lateral groove that includes a groove bottom surface extending in a direction crossing a tire circumferential direction; and a protrusion provided on the groove bottom surface and extending in an extension direction of the groove bottom surface. The protrusion includes: a main body; and a raised portion provided at least at one end portion on one side in a longitudinal direction of the main body, and shaped such that a height of the raised portion from the groove bottom surface increases from an outside to an inside in the longitudinal direction of the main body. The raised portion has at least one vent mark that is a mark of a vent of a tire vulcanization mold.
MOLD SEGMENT WITH CONNECTED FIRST AND SECOND SIPE ELEMENTS FOR USE IN FORMING A TIRE
A mold segment for forming a tire is provided that has a first sipe element with a protrusion that extends from a first sipe element side surface. The height of the protrusion is less than a height of the first sipe element side surface. A second sipe element is present and has a cavity that extends from a second sipe element side surface. The cavity has a height that is less than a height of the second sipe element side surface. A mold segment base is included that receives the first sipe element and the second sipe element. The cavity receives the protrusion such that the protrusion is located in the cavity and so that the first sipe element side surface directly faces the second sipe element side surface.
Rib- or fin-shaped element, profile ring segment and method for producing a profile ring segment
Rib- or fin-shaped element (1, 10) comprising an anchoring part (1 b.sub.1, 10b.sub.1) and a molding part (1b.sub.2, 10b.sub.2), wherein the anchoring part (1 b.sub.1, 10b.sub.1) can be anchored in a profile ring segment of a profile ring of a vulcanizing mold that molds the tread of a vehicle tire and the molding part (1 b.sub.2, 10b.sub.2) is provided for molding a sipe or a groove in the tread. The element (1, 10) has at least one elongate projection (1a, 11), which forms a bevel at the periphery of the tread and is produced by means of selective laser melting.
TWO-PART MOLD FOR VULCANIZING TIRES
A mold (20) for vulcanizing tires comprises an upper part (24) and a lower part (26), the upper part and the lower part being able to move axially between an open position and a closed position in which the lower part and the upper part meet along a joint line (31). A mold part (24, 26) has at least one sipe blade (50), all or some of the sipe blades extending substantially axially or helically on the radially internal surface (30) of the mold, all or some of the sipe blades being: contiguous at one of their ends with a protruding element (46) and contiguous at the other of their ends with a recessed element (44) or with the other part of the mold, and able to move relative to the tire in the wake of the protruding element (46), during opening of the mold.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING A MOULD SEGMENT OF A VULCANIZING MOULD, MOULD SEGMENT, AND VULCANIZING MOULD
A method for producing a mold segment of a vulcanizing mold for a pneumatic vehicle tire for forming the profiling of a tread, having a metallic base part (6) with a mold side with ribs (3) which form channels encircling or delimiting profile elements.
A rib skeleton (8) consisting of ribs (8′), the arrangement and the profile of which at least partially corresponds to the arrangement and the profile of ribs (3) forming channels, is milled from the base part (6),
inserts (7) with peripheral frame parts (7b) are built up by means of an additive method,
the inserts (7) being inserted into the rib skeleton (8) and the frame parts (7b) completing the ribs (8′) of the rib skeleton (8) to form the ribs (3) forming the channels.
MOLD SEGMENT AND SEGMENTED TIRE MOLD WITH FLUID-PERMEABLE INFILL
The subject invention relates to a mold segment comprising a tread molding element for manufacturing a tire wherein the tread molding element comprises a shell and an infill, wherein the shell has a first wall with a negative tread pattern extending from its external surface for molding the tread, a second wall opposed to the first wall, and lateral walls; wherein the infill is a fluid-permeable structure defining a fluid-permeable infill; and wherein at least one of a lateral wall and the second wall comprises at least one fluid passage passing through the lateral wall or the second wall.
LASER SINTERING METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A TREAD MOLDING ELEMENT
The disclosure relates to a selective laser sintering method of manufacturing a tread molding element, said tread molding element including at least a fine lamella adapted to mold a shallow ripe in a tire tread, the fine lamella having a length (L2). The fine lamella is sintered in a plurality of portions (p2) at different layers (N), in each layer (N) the laser beam sinters the portion (p2) of the fine lamella in only one passage in the length (L2) of the fine lamella without round-trip passage of the laser beam, the direction (D1) of this passage being the same at the different layers (N) for building the different portions (p2) of the fine lamella. The thickness (w) of the fine lamella is smaller than 0.2 mm, and the height (h) of the fine lamella is smaller than or equal to 2 mm.
