A novel material size reducing and storage device system comprising of at least one material size reducing unit which is capable of shredding, grinding, cutting or using other similar methods for the purpose of recycling plastic, metal, paper, and other materials; a storage unit; an apparatus that analyzes and detects the type or recyclable; a heating system that facilitates further size reduction of recyclable; a cooling system that maintains cool temperatures for food waste; a computer system having self-monitoring analysis and reporting technology (SMART); and a cleaning system that removes contamination from material so that said material is ready to be upcycled in a recycling facility.
Torque smoothing apparatuses for large square balers
A torque smoothing apparatus is utilized in conjunction with a large square baler (LSB), which includes a bale chamber, a plunger mounted for reciprocation within the bale chamber, and an LSB drive line. In embodiments, the torque smoothing apparatus includes a planetary gear train and a flywheel, which is mechanically coupled to the LSB drive line through the planetary gear train. An auxiliary motor having a motor output is mechanically coupled to the LSB drive line through the planetary gear train, while a controller is operably coupled to the auxiliary motor. The controller commands the auxiliary motor to selectively apply torque to the LSB drive line such that the torque applied by the auxiliary motor, taken in combination with a torque contribution of the flywheel, reduces variations in torque demands placed on a vehicle engine as the plunger reciprocates during LSB bale formation.
VERTICAL REFUSE BALER
A vertical baler includes a frame defining a compaction chamber, a platen configured for vertical travel within the compaction chamber to compact refuse contained within the compaction chamber, a linear actuator coupled to the platen and configured to raise and lower the platen within the compaction chamber, an electric motor coupled to the linear actuator and configured to control extension and retraction of the linear actuator, an encoder coupled to the electric motor and configured to measure rotation of the motor, and one or more processors.
System, controller, and method for decortication processing
A system, controller, and method for decortication processing on one or more input units of hemp into one or more resultant products. The method includes: analyzing one or more characteristics of the input units; cutting the input units into a predetermined size; opening the cut input units; performing decortication on the opened input units to separate the hemp into components, the components including bast, fibre, and hurd; densifying the fibre into bales; pulverizing the hurd and bast; combining the pulverized hurd and bast with thermoplastic polymers into a resultant product; receiving analyzer data from at least one of the decortication, the densifying, the pulverizing, and the combining; training a machine learning model based on the analyzer data; using the trained machine learning model to adjust one or more aspects to achieve a desired resultant product.
EFFICIENT HYDRAULIC POWER UNITS FOR COMPREHENSIVE COMPACTOR AUTOMATION AND METHOD OF USING SAME
A hydraulic power unit for full compactor automation comprises a housing with a support frame, electrical control cabinet and plate cover; a reservoir; an electric motor on the frame; a hydraulic pump directly coupled to the motor; a CAN control system including a CAN controller, a gateway and antennae mounted to the housing and wherein the unit measures the current draw by the motor with a current transformer and wherein a signal level from the current transformer is fed to the CAN controller whereby decisions about the compactor's fullness are based on this signal level; an Integrated Circuit Hydraulic Manifold on the mounting plate including at least one Directional Control Valve, a Relief Valve, a Hydraulic Filter and a Check Valve; and an electronic entry PIN pad device on the electrical control cabinet allowing users to enter a personal identification number and operational commands.
BEVERAGE CONTAINER RECYCLING SYSTEM
A beverage container recycling system has a housing with an advertising display, a user feedback display and a deposit opening. An imaging region is connected to the deposit opening. The imaging region has a camera to take an image of a deposited beverage container. A processor, network interface circuit and memory are associated with the housing. The memory stores instructions executed by the processor to analyze the image of the deposited beverage container to characterize the deposited beverage container as one of glass, aluminum or plastic. A carriage directly deposits a glass beverage container in a glass bin. The carriage directs aluminum and plastic beverage containers to a crusher with a blade to pierce aluminum and plastic beverage containers prior to compaction. The crusher selectively directs compacted beverage containers to a plastic bin and an aluminum bin. The memory stores instructions executed by the processor to maintain a count of deposited beverage containers and communicates the count of deposited beverage containers to the network interface circuit for routing to a networked machine.
