SELF CONTAINED COMPACTOR SYSTEM
20230030231 · 2023-02-02 ·

Embodiments of the present disclosure are directed to new and improved self-contained compactor systems incorporating a straight-push cylinder design, in which the compactor system is actuated in a horizontal direction. The improved design accommodates increased storage volume, long wear parts, simplified reservoir cleaning, and easier external access to the components, cylinders, and hoses of the self-contained compactor system.

A COMPACTOR
20230081947 · 2023-03-16 ·

A compactor (1) for waste material comprises a housing (3) for receipt of a bag (4), the housing comprising sidewalls (11, 12) including at least one openable sidewall (13), and a compacting press comprising an actuator to force material into the bag when it is housed in the housing. At least one of the sidewalls comprises two adjacent panels (14, 15) connected by articulation means (16) allowing the sidewall to fold during a compaction operation. The folding of the sidewall has been found to dissipate the stresses caused by the pressure in the bag/housing due to the changing geometry and the movement of waste material into regions of lower density or voids created by the changed geometry.

Plastic material crushing and compacting structure

A plastic material crushing and compacting structure, including: a barrel, a upper side thereof configured with an input hole, and an inside thereof a driving device, an inside of the driving device a wireless transceiver module; a pair of clamping seats, configured below the input hole, and used to clamp an input plastic material item (e.g. plastic bottle, paute, etc.) to prevent the plastic material item from ejecting; a crushing device, configured below the pair of clamping seats and used to crush the input plastic material item, and provided with crushing device driver; and a telescopic push rod, configured below the driving device and moved vertically, a bottom of the telescopic push rod provided with a compressing face, several strip supports configured on the compressing face, and a gap arranged between each two adjacent strip supports, each of the gaps is the same size or not the same size.

COMPACTING ASSEMBLY FOR TRASH RECEPTACLES
20170313507 · 2017-11-02 ·

A trash compacting assembly which is selectably coupled to a conventional front loader trash receptacle and operates to compact material disposed in the trash receptacle. The trash compacting assembly includes a base plate sized to sit on top of the top opening of the target trash receptacle, an electrical press operative to selectively generate vertical movement, a guiding system operative to transfer vertical movement from, and a compacting plate for compressing material. In operation, when the trash compacting assembly is locked in place on a target trash receptacle, a user can actuate the electrical press to cause vertical movement generated by the electrical press to be transferred to the compacting plate, by way of the guiding system, thereby moving the compacting plate such that it compresses material in the target receptacle.

REFUSE COLLECTION APPARATUS

A refuse collection apparatus is disclosed. A refuse collection apparatus according to one embodiment of the present invention a main body unit into which a refuse is inserted, a refuse compression unit installed in the main body unit and configured to compress the refuse inserted into the main body unit and a movement range detection unit located inside of the main body unit and configured to detect a movement range of the refuse compression unit.

Baling machine with containment apparatus
11241853 · 2022-02-08 · ·

A baling machine including a gathering ram and a hopper with a charging chamber is disclosed. The hopper can include a pair of flat doors and an actuator that can move the flat doors to apply compression force to material placed in the hopper. The compression force applied by the flat doors can improve efficiency of the baling machine by increasing the amount of the material compacted by each stroke of the gathering ram.

COFFEE TAMPER WITH STEP DESIGN
20170215630 · 2017-08-03 · ·

A handheld coffee tamper having a circular tamper base, connected to a handle, wherein the cross section design of the circular tamper base has a stepped configuration where the base of the tamper and the first rise of the first step has a sharp edge having a radius of less than 0.2 mm, where the rise of the first step is between 0.5 to 4.0 mm and the run of the first step is between 0.05 to 2.0 mm and where the second step forms the side wall of the tamper, where the side wall is at least 5.0 mm in height, and where tamper base has a Rockwell hardness of at least 25.

Trash compactor

A trash compactor includes an enclosure assembly, a press assembly, and a lever assembly. The enclosure assembly includes a tray and an enclosure extending from the bottom end of the tray. Furthermore, the press assembly includes a press member disposed within the enclosure. The press member includes openings that receive rods therethrough. The rods being secured to opposing interior walls of the enclosure allowing the press member to slidably traverse an interior portion of the enclosure. A lever is then engaged with the actuating rod that is configured to be actuated by a user to compact trash placed within the enclosure.

RAM LINER

A liner for a ram configured to press a viscous material. The liner includes a liner wall and a circumferential lip. The liner wall is configured to abut a ram plate of the ram and includes a number of apertures configured to align with apertures of the ram plate. The liner wall and circumferential lip are configured to prevent the viscous material from contacting a ram surface and circumferential surface of the ram plate, thus making the ram easier to clean.
