HIGH STRENGTH PARTITION BOX ASSEMBLY
A divider box assembly is provided which comprises a plurality of individual compartments formed from a plurality of transverse and longitudinal panels which interact with one another by way of slots. Such panels may be arranged to form high strength internal and external partitions which support stacking of a plurality of divider boxes and also providing increased resistance to rough handling during shipment and storage.
Erecting aid
An erecting aid for packaging materials is described and may include a table portion and a panel. A panel may be coupled to one side of the table portion. The table portion and the panel can be configured such that the table portion and panel form an acute angle and the panel acts as a type of back support wall with respect to the table portion. A clamp may cooperate with the table portion to produce a clamping force. The clamping force may occur by biasing at least a portion of the clamp towards a relaxed, closed. The combination of the table, panel and biased clamp provide the forces necessary to stabilize a partially folded corrugated box during the erecting process such that the partially folded corrugated box is stabilized and maintained in a partially assembled state while the operator can use both hands to complete the erecting process.
High strength partition box assembly
The present invention is a divider box assembly comprising a plurality of individual compartments formed from a plurality of transverse, longitudinal panels and exterior panels. Such exterior panels arranged such that they may form high strength internal and external partitions to support stacking of a plurality of divider boxes and also providing increased resistance to rough handling during shipment and storage.
Tray With Separable Features
A tray for holding one or more articles includes a plurality of panels extending at least partially around an interior space of the tray, the plurality of panels including a bottom panel, at least one lower side panel, at least one upper side panel, and at least one end panel, and a plurality of end flaps foldably connected to a respective panel of the plurality of panels, the plurality of panels forms a plurality of separably connected tray portions such that the tray is separable into respective tray portions.
Display hutch
A container includes a plurality of panels connected together at fold lines configured for extending at least partially around an interior space. The panels include a front panel, a first side panel, a back panel and a second side panel. The back panel includes a first back portion and a second back portion. At least one of the first back portion or the second back portion is free from openings. A shelf panel is foldably connected to the front panel. The first back portion is adhered to the shelf panel.
CARTON WITH INTEGRATED PARTITION AND RELATED METHODS
Disclosed is a carton with an integrated partition formed from a single blank and that can be erected from a folded and glued configuration in a single step. The unerected carton is configured so it snaps automatically into an erected carton with integrated partition when a user simply applies slight pressure to the corners of the unerected carton. The erected carton with integrated partition can then be easily collapsed into the unerected configuration by simply squeezing opposing sides of the erected partition about the corners. Since the carton with integrated partition is configured to move easily and automatically between the unerected and erected positions, the carton with integrated partition is suitable for repeated use.
Tray
A tray (2) is made of cardboard, paperboard or other lightweight foldable sheet material and comprises one or more pockets (8) for receiving product. The tray (2) comprises a top sheet (4) defining one or more top sheet openings (10) for the one or more pockets (8) and a bottom sheet (6) attached to the top sheet (4) and comprising one or more bottom sheet openings (12) aligned with the top sheet openings (10). The top sheet (4) comprises one or more respective sets of top sheet flaps (28, 30, 32) which each comprise a top sheet flap proximal panel (28P, 30P, 32P) hingedly connected to the top sheet (4) about a respective top sheet flap proximal hinge line (36, 38, 40) defined at the respective top sheet opening (10) At least one of the top sheet flaps (28, 30, 32) further comprises a top sheet flap distal panel (28D, 30D, 32D) hingedly attached to the respective top sheet flap proximal panel (28P, 30P, 32P) about a respective top sheet flap distal fold line (42, 44, 46). Each top sheet flap (28, 30, 32) is folded about the respective top sheet flap proximal hinge line (36, 38, 40) to extend through the bottom sheet opening (12) such that the top sheet flap proximal panel (28P, 30P, 32P) thereof defines, at least in part, a side wall (66, 68, 70) of the pocket (8). The bottom sheet (6) comprises one or more respective sets of bottom sheet flaps (50). At least one bottom sheet flap (50) comprises a bottom sheet flap proximal portion (50P) hingedly attached to the bottom sheet (6) about a respective bottom sheet flap proximal hinge line (52) defined at the respective bottom sheet opening (12) and a bottom sheet flap distal panel (50D) hingedly attached to the bottom sheet flap proximal panel (50P) about a respective bottom sheet flap distal fold line (62). The bottom sheet flap (50) is folded about the respective bottom flap proximal hinge line (58) such that the bottom sheet flap proximal panel (50P) defines at least in part a pocket side wall (74), and the bottom sheet flap distal panel (50D) defines at least in part a base wall (64) of the pocket (8). Within each pocket (8), at least one top sheet flap distal panel (28D, 30D, 32D) is adhesively secured to the bottom sheet flap distal panel (50D).
TRAY AND METHOD FOR ITS ASSEMBLY
A tray (10) is provided for supporting a plurality of articles (8), such as cartons, where the tray (10) is configured for supporting one or more additional like trays in a stacking arrangement. The tray (10) includes a generally rectangular base (20) and a centrally-located, upstanding divider (30). The divider (30) can be configured to bear compressive loads when one or more like trays with articles are stacked, and the divider (30) having planar sides facing adjacent front and rear ends of the base (20). To help support the divider, a pair of braces (50, 60) extend from the divider (30), with one on each end of the divider (30), to the base (20).
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING PACKAGING TRAYS WITH DIFFERENT STRUCTURES AND PRODUCT OBTAINED
A method and apparatus for producing trays that are or are not coated with a plastic film and that retain modified atmospheres and the trays obtained. The apparatus allows for obtaining trays with different structures, which include the forming of the trays from previously elaborated preforms, which may or may not have a separator inside the trays and optionally coated with a plastic film inside. It also consists of the method for obtaining the trays and the trays obtained. The trays coated with a plastic film have the capacity to contain atmospheres with a composition of gases different from that of the air inside them, to extend the time of storage and conservation of food products. This is achieved by means of a closed top seal of the tray. The trays also have a simple closure or capping, without modifying their atmosphere.
