PRESSURE-PRINTED MATERIAL PREPARING APPARATUS
A pressure-printed material preparing apparatus includes an attachment unit that attaches, powder which exhibits adhesiveness when pressure is applied, to a surface to be bonded of a recording medium; a fixation unit that applies pressure to the recording medium to which the powder is attached to fix the powder to the recording medium as an adhesive layer; a folding unit that folds the recording medium of which the adhesive layer is formed on the surface to be bonded, such that two portions of the surface to be bonded are opposed to each other; and an application unit that applies pressure to the recording medium in which the surfaces to be bonded are opposed to each other, to thereby bond the adhesive layer on one surface and the adhesive layer on the other surface.
Method and apparatus for zigzag folding a material web
The application relates to a method for zigzag folding a material web, the method having the following steps: continuously feeding a material web to be folded into a folding apparatus along a feed direction, alternately gripping the material web in a proximal region of the folding apparatus by means of gripping devices, holding and conveying the material web by means of the gripping devices into a distal region of the folding apparatus, the material web being zigzag folded thereby, and releasing the material web from the gripping devices and depositing the material web in a stack (9) with folds in the distal region, a distance between adjacent gripping devices (4, 5) being equal to a fold length. Furthermore, the application also relates to an apparatus for zigzag folding a material web.
PRODUCTION OF PAPER STICKS
The invention relates to paper processing, namely the processing of a paper web or a paper web section in order to form a paper stick. The processing is carried out in multiple process stages, including storing the paper web, stretching the paper web, controlling/regulating the guide for the lateral edge, conveying the paper web, folding the paper web, rolling, adding an additive, cutting, removing the remaining paper web, separating the paper sticks, drying the sticks, and/or post-treating the sticks.
Scoring machine
A scoring machine incorporated in a sheet folding apparatus forms scores on sheets according to a folding pattern. The scoring machine comprises upper and lower rotary shafts provided with pairs of convex and concave rollers, and a positioning unit slidably attached to a slide guide. When a rotatable member is arranged at a standing position, the convex roller engages with a groove on one end face of the rotatable member, or the concave roller engages with a projection on the other end face of the rotatable member. A sequence pattern of the pairs of convex and concave rollers on the upper and lower rotary shafts corresponding to the folding pattern is displayed on a display. The positioning unit stops at the specified positions of the pairs of convex and concave rollers while sliding.
PLEATED AIR FILTER WITH REINFORCING FILAMENTS COMPRISING LOCALLY-THINNED BENDING ZONES
A pleated air filter media with a plurality of continuous-contact reinforcing filaments on at least one face of the pleated air filter. The filaments have locally-thinned bending zones each of which is registered with pleat tip or pleat valley of the pleated air filter media.
Pressing device for a sheet folding device
A sheet processing device includes: a conveying module that conveys a folded sheet; and a pressing module that presses a folded part of the folded sheet by rotating about a direction orthogonal to a sheet conveying direction of the conveying module as a rotation axis. The pressing module includes a projecting part arranged in a certain range in a direction of the rotation axis along a circumferential surface about the rotation axis. The projecting part is formed to be symmetric with respect to a middle part of the rotation axis in the direction of the rotation axis, and the projecting part arranged on one side from the middle part along the direction of the rotation axis are formed such that a position of the projecting part in a rotational direction of the circumferential surface varies along the direction of the rotation axis.
Creasing device for forming creases in paper and bookbinding articles, and machine comprising such device
A creasing device includes a frame with a substantially horizontal support surface for supporting an article to be creased; a movable tool; and a stationary tool, the latter comprising a stationary member and at least one displaceable member whose height relative to the stationary member can be adjusted. A first actuator moves the movable tool toward the stationary tool and interacts with opposite faces of the article, and a second actuator translates the displaceable member between a first end position in which interacts with the movable tool and a second end position in which it cannot interact with the movable tool. Guide means associated with the stationary tool guides the displaceable member between the first end position and the second end position. The guide means are have a curvilinear path contained in a plane substantially perpendicular to the support surface.

Sheet processing apparatus
The apparatus includes: a conveyance directional processing part for performing processing along the conveyance direction onto the sheet, the conveyance directional processing part being constructed such that at the same position in the conveyance direction, a plurality of processing machines of two or more types are aligned in a width direction perpendicular to the conveyance direction and provided in a freely attachable and detachable manner; a condition input part through which processing conditions in the conveyance directional processing part are inputted; a display part for displaying the processing conditions; and a processing machine selection control part for acquiring types and arrangement of the processing machines to be provided in the conveyance directional processing part such that the processing conditions may be satisfied and then displaying the acquired types and arrangement on the display part.
