LAMINATED VEHICLE GLAZING, ASSOCIATED DEVICE HAVING A NEAR-INFRARED VISION SYSTEM, AND PRODUCTION THEREOF
A vehicle laminated glazing includes a first extraclear glass sheet (exterior glazing), a lamination interlayer and a second glass or plastic sheet (interior glazing) with a traversing hole.
Heater for Windshield Wiper Park Position
A windshield wiper park position heater employs an area-type heater construction having a flexible substrate supporting a high resistance heater material between electrodes of a lower resistance electrode material. The high length-to-width of the heater element is accommodated through a bus structure that orients current flow along the shortest dimension of the heater and by supplying power at a midpoint of the bus structure to decrease voltage drop over the longest dimension of the heater. A clip structure allows internal conductive layers of laminated connection point between heater components to be simply joined in the crimping operation.
LAMINATED GLASS
Laminated glass includes: a first glass plate having a rectangular shape, and including a first side and a second side opposing the first side; a second glass plate arranged opposing the first glass plate, and having substantially the same shape as the shape of the first glass plate; and an intermediate film arranged between the first glass plate and the second glass plate, the intermediate film including: a first bus bar extending along an end portion closer to the first side; a second bus bar extending along an end portion closer to the second side; and a plurality of heating lines arranged parallel to each other so as to connect the first bus bar and the second bus bar to each other.
Laminated glass and method of manufacturing the same
A laminated glass comprising an outer glass sheet, an inner glass sheet, and an intermediate layer between the outer and inner glass sheets. The intermediate layer has a first busbar, a second busbar, and heating wires connecting the first and second busbars, and a sheet-like substrate supporting the heating wires. The intermediate layer further comprises an adhesive layer. A distance from a centre of the wires to a surface the outer glass sheet and a distance from the centre of the wires to a surface the inner glass sheet being different; and a distance from the centre of the wires to the inside surface of the outer glass sheet and a distance from the centre of the wires to the outside surface of the inner glass sheet being different, and the adhesive layer thickness or the substrate thickness, whichever is smaller, is not more than 400 micrometres.
LAMINATED GLAZING WITH HEATING LAYER AT THE SAME LEVEL OF THE LAMINATED STRUCTURE AS THE MASK OF THE ELECTRIC CURRENT LEADS OF THE HEATING LAYER
A laminated glazing includes a first transparent sheet intended, in the mounting position of the glazing, to constitute the exterior face thereof, a second transparent sheet bonded to the first by an adhesive interlayer, a heating layer supplied with electric current by leads positioned at the periphery of the glazing, and a mask also positioned at the periphery of the glazing between the first transparent sheet and the leads so as to hide the latter from view from the outside in the mounting position of the laminated glazing, wherein the heating layer and the mask are on the same plane of the laminated structure of the glazing.
ULTRA-THIN LAMINATED GLASS ASSEMBLY WITH ELECTRIC CIRCUITRY
A laminated glass assembly, an electrical assembly for a laminated glass assembly and a method of forming a laminated glass assembly. The laminated glass assembly includes at least an outer glass plate having a first major surface and a second major surface, an inner ultra-thin glass plate having a first major surface and a second major surface and an intermediate film layer situated between the outer glass plate and the inner ultra-thin glass plate. The electrical assembly is positioned between the outer glass plate and the inner ultra-thin glass plate along with a conductive medium to provide a signal path between the laminated glass assembly and vehicular electrical circuitry.
Suppression of electrostatic discharge noise by means of conduction between a tiered metal element and the wiring system of a glazing unit
A laminated glazing includes a first and a second glass sheet that are bonded by a first interlayer adhesive layer, a peripheral zone of the laminated glazing being covered by a stepped metal element, the laminated glazing including a heating network of wires and/or a heating electrically conductive layer that is provided with busbars, a plurality of probes and other optional electrical elements that are linked to an electrical power supply via the connector of the laminated glazing, an electrical conductor linking the stepped metal element to a busbar of the heating network of wires and/or of the heating electrically conductive layer; and/or to the cap of the connector of the laminated glazing, which is linked to the ground of the structure for mounting the laminated glazing; and/or to a contact of the connector.
Windshield
A laminated glass according to the present invention is a windshield for an automobile to which an information acquisition device for acquiring information from the outside of a vehicle by emitting and/or receiving light can be installed, the windshield including an outer glass plate that includes a first side and a second side that is opposite to the first side, an inner glass plate that is arranged opposite to the outer glass plate and has substantially the same shape as the outer glass plate, and an intermediate film that is arranged between the outer glass plate and the inner glass plate. The windshield includes an information acquisition region that is to be located opposite to the information acquisition device and through which the light passes.
Automotive laminate with embedded wire circuit
Laminated glazings with embedded wire circuits, have many uses. But, due to the higher cost of manufacture, they are not widely used. This invention provides a process to reduce the cost of production for embedded wire laminated glazing. Rather than embedding the wire one interlayer at a time, several circuits are produced on the same sheet, cut out and then inserted into the interlayer of each separate laminate during assembly, reducing the direct labor and capital investment required.
