It is an object to provide a tire having well-improved fuel efficiency, wet grip performance, abrasion resistance, and wet grip performance at a later stage of abrasion. Provided is a tire comprising a tread part of a rubber composition comprising a rubber component comprising an isoprene-based rubber and a styrene-butadiene rubber, wherein a vinyl content of the styrene-butadiene rubber is greater than 26 mol %, wherein a given ratio A of an ash content of the rubber composition is greater than 25 mol %, wherein the tread part comprises two or more circumferential main grooves extending in a tire circumferential direction, and land parts partitioned by the circumferential main grooves, wherein at least one land part of the land parts comprises at least one given flask-like circumferential groove extending in the tire circumferential direction.

Tire comprising optimized architecture and tread pattern

A tire (1) for a vehicle has a tread surface having a transverse radius RT and comprises a crown layer (3) that comprises at least one undulation (312) in line with a rib (26). The undulation (312) is such that it is radially on the outside of the points of the undulated layer in line with the center of the bottom face of the circumferential furrow (25) closest to the undulation (312) and has an amplitude at least equal to 1 mm. The radial distance (da) between at least one contact edge corner of a rib (26) in line with which an undulation is located and the transverse radius RT of the rib is at least equal to 0.2 mm and at most equal to 2 mm.

Pneumatic tire

In a pneumatic tire, a sipe includes an edge on a leading side and an edge on a trailing side; the edge and the edge each include a chamfered portion shorter than a sipe length of the sipe; a non-chamfered region in which other chamfered portions are not present is provided at portions facing the chamfered portions of the sipe; and for all chamfered portions, including at least the chamfered portions of the sipe, formed on grooves other than main grooves, with a ground contact width being equally divided into three in the tire lateral direction, a total projected area A.sub.CE of chamfered portions provided in a center region centrally located in the tire lateral direction and each of total projected areas A.sub.SH of chamfered portions provided in shoulder regions located on either side of the center region satisfy a relationship A.sub.CE<A.sub.SH.

Tire

A tire includes, in a tread portion, a pair of shoulder main grooves, a crown region between the shoulder main grooves, and shoulder regions disposed outside of the shoulder main grooves in a tire axial direction. Land ratios of the crown region and the shoulder regions are respectively 40%-60%. In the crown region, a plurality of middle blocks are arranged on both sides of a tire equator, and each middle block has a longitudinal shape in which a length in the tire circumferential direction is larger than a length in the tire axial direction.

A tire comprises a tread provided with two edges (25A, 25B) and with a center (C) dividing it into two parts of equal width with sets of blocks (21A, 21B). Each set of blocks (21A, 21B) comprises three zones: at the edge (211), at the center (213) and intermediate (212). Each set of blocks (21A, 21B) comprises a set of chamfers (26A, 26B, 26C) which extends over at least the edge zone (211) and the central zone (213) of the set of blocks (21A, 21B). The width LC1 of the set of chamfers (26A, 26B, 26C) over the edge zone (211) is different from the width LC2 of the set of chamfers (26A, 26B, 26C) over the intermediate zone (212), the widths LC1 and LC2 being comprised between 0.5 mm and 2.5 mm.

TIRE COMPRISING A TREAD

A tire comprises a directional tread provided with two edges (25A, 25B) and with a center (C) dividing it into two parts of substantially equal width. The tread comprises, on one of these two parts, blocks (21A, 21B) succeeding one another in a circumferential direction.
