A tire includes a carcass, a tread disposed radially outward of the carcass, a sidewall including a shoulder extends toward the tread, and a reinforcing structure positioned radially between the carcass and the tread. The reinforcing structure includes a plurality of belts extending axially toward the shoulder and an overlapping spiral wound strip positioned at a radially outermost portion of the reinforcing structure. The overlapping spiral wound strip includes a uniform width having groups of four first cords with a single second cord therebetween. The first cords include a hybrid construction and the second cords include a single material construction.
Pneumatic Vehicle Tires
The invention relates to radial-type pneumatic vehicle tires comprising at least one carcass layer (3), a profiled tread (1), a two-layer belt (2), and a belt bandage (6) which covers the belt and which comprises bandage cords that run in the circumferential direction of the tire and consist of at least one thread made of a textile material. The belt bandage (6) has a central bandage part (7) and two lateral bandage parts (8), wherein the central bandage part (7) reaches laterally beyond the edges of the radially outer belt layer (2b), and the two lateral bandage parts (8) adjoin the central bandage part (7), cover the respective remaining edge portion of the two belt layers (2b), and run axially outside of the edges of the radially inner belt layer (2a) so as to contact a carcass layer (3) portion with a width of up to 15 mm. The bandage cord in the central bandage part (7) consists of a single thread, and the bandage cord in the lateral bandage parts (8) consists of two threads twisted together.
Pneumatic Tire Having Structure of Dual Reinforcement Belt Layer
A pneumatic tire having a dual reinforcing belt structure, which minimizes deformation of the tire tread section during high-speed driving, particularly deformation of the tire shoulder parts, suppresses a standing wave phenomenon, and enhances driving stability. The pneumatic tire having a dual reinforcing belt structure includes a tread section, a sidewall section and a bead section, in which the bead section is provided with a carcass in a turned-up manner, a plurality of belt layers are provided by lamination between the carcass and the tread section, and a reinforcing belt is provided on top of the belt layer, while the reinforcing belt is a dual reinforcing belt in which belts made of different materials are arranged.

A radial tire (1) for a heavy-duty vehicle of construction plant type, and aims to increase the rupture strength of the hoop reinforcement thereof having circumferential layers, ensuring satisfactory endurance of the crown reinforcement thereof. According to the invention, the at least one circumferential hooping layer (71, 72) comprises a median portion (711, 721) having a median width (L11, L21) and a median tensile elastic modulus (E11, E21), and two lateral portions (712, 722) that axially extend the median portion (711, 721) on either side and each have a lateral width (L12, L22) and a lateral tensile elastic modulus (E12, E22), the lateral width (L12, L22) is at least equal to 0.05 times the median width (L11, L21), and the lateral tensile elastic modulus (E12, E22) is at most equal to 0.9 times the median tensile elastic modulus (E11, E21).

A tire including a pair of bead cores (11), a carcass including at least one carcass ply (12) extending between the pair of bead cores (11), a belt (13) including at least one belt layer placed outward in a tire radial direction of the carcass, and at least one belt reinforcement layer (14) placed outward in a tire radial direction of the belt (13), in which a reinforcement cord of at least one of the carcass ply (12) and the belt reinforcement layer (14) includes a cord using a polyamide multifilament including a polycondensate of a dicarboxylic acid including an aromatic dicarboxylic acid with a diamine.

The present invention provides a tire that uses an elastomer-metal cord composite, which composite is obtained by coating metal cords with an elastomer, each metal cord being composed of a bundle of metal filaments arranged without being twisted, and which composite is capable of highly improving the performance of the tire. The above described tire is one including a belt (105) which includes at least two belt layers (105a) and (105b). In this tire, the belt layers (105a) and (105b) are each obtained by coating metal cords (2) with an elastomer (3), each metal cord (2) being composed of a bundle of a plurality of metal filaments (1) arranged in a row without being twisted; at least one pair of adjacent metal filaments in the metal cord (2) differ in at least one of the amount of shaping and shaping pitch; each of the belt layers (105a) and (105b) has a thickness t1 of more than 0.30 mm and less than 1.00 mm; and the distance g in the tire radial direction between the metal cords (2) in the two adjacent belt layers (105a) and (105b) is 0.10 mm or more and 1.20 mm or less at the center of the tire.
Pneumatic tire
A pneumatic tire includes a carcass layer and belt layers including belt cords inclined with respect to a circumferential direction, the belt cords of different layers being arranged in a criss-cross manner. In at least one belt layer, an inclination angle α of the belt cords with respect to the circumferential direction at a center position and an inclination angle β of the belt cords with respect to the circumferential direction at a belt end position satisfy 15°≤β<α≤35°. A maximum ground contact length L1 and a ground contact length L2 satisfy 0.8≤L2/L1≤1.0, where L1 is the maximum ground contact length in the circumferential direction, W1 is a maximum ground contact width in a radial direction, and L2 is the ground contact length in the circumferential direction at a position 40% of W1 from the center position outward in a lateral direction.

PNEUMATIC VEHICLE TIRE FOR A VEHICLE
The invention relates to a pneumatic vehicle tire for passenger cars comprising a carcass (2), a tread (6) and a belt (7) which has belt plies (7a, 7b) and which is covered radially outwardly by a belt bandage (8) having strengthening elements oriented approximately in the circumferential direction, wherein the belt bandage (8) has at least one belt bandage ply (8a) whichas viewed in the tire cross sectionconsists of three sections, namely a central section (10) and two lateral sections (11, 12), wherein one lateral section (11) is arranged to the left of the central section (10) and one lateral section (12) is arranged to the right of the central section (10) and wherein the strengthening elements of the central section (10) have the construction x1 and wherein the strengthening elements of the two lateral sections (11, 12) have identical cords consisting of at least two twisted-together yarns.
The invention is distinguished by the fact that the two lateral sections (11, 12) are arranged next to the central section (10), that is to say without overlapping with the central section (10), that the density of the strengthening elements in the central section (10) is less than the density of the strengthening elements in the lateral sections (11, 12), and that the end of the lateral sections (13) that points toward the central section (10) in each case has a distance (14) of 5 mm-30 mm, preferably a distance (14) of 5 mm-15 mm, from the outer end of the widest belt ply (15), where the distance (14) is measured in the axial direction (aR).

A pneumatic tire of the present disclosure comprises a resin-coated belt, a base ring that comes in contact with a tire widthwise outer end of the resin-coated belt is provided on a tire radial inside of the resin-coated belt, a tire widthwise inner end of the base ring is located on an inner side of the tire widthwise outer end of the resin-coated belt in a tire width direction, while a tire widthwise outer end of the base ring is located on an outer side of the tire widthwise outer end of the resin-coated belt in the tire width direction, and the resin-coated belt has a rigidity changing portion where a rigidity changes from the tire widthwise inner side toward outer side in a tire widthwise region from the tire widthwise inner end of the base ring to the tire widthwise outer end of the resin-coated belt.
