A tire comprises a tread portion comprising a circumferentially arranged blocks divided by lateral grooves. Each block has a block side wall and a block tread. Each lateral groove comprises an axially outer first portion, an axially inner second portion, and a connect portion at which the first portion and the second portion are connected with each other so that each block is provided with a convex corner portion which is convex toward the outside of the block at the connect portion. In the convex corner portion, the block side wall comprises a first side wall extending along the first portion, a second side wall extending along the second portion, and a substantially triangular third side wall intersecting the first side wall, the second side wall and the block tread. The third side wall terminates radially outside the groove bottom of the lateral groove.

A pneumatic tire can suppress uneven wear of the tire and improve the performance on snow. A plurality of inner side circumferential grooves (11a, 11b, 11c) arrayed between a pair of outermost side circumferential grooves (11d, 11d) have a groove width that is smaller than that of the outermost side circumferential grooves (11d) to such a degree allowing land portions on the opposite sides thereof to come into contact with each other upon grounding. A plurality of recessed portions (S) of a shape cut in a radial direction from a tread face are formed along the tire circumferential direction on opposing block wall faces (14Af, 14Bf) of blocks (14A, 14B) on the opposite sides of at least one (11b) of the inner side circumferential grooves.

In a tread portion of a pneumatic tire, a first sipe wall surface of a sipe includes at least two first peak portions and at least one first valley portion at each position of the sipe extension direction, which are bent in a wave-like shape to form surface recesses and protrusions along a sipe depth direction. The first valley portion is sandwiched between the two first peak portions in the sipe depth direction, and extends from one end of the sipe in the extension direction to the other end of the sipe in the extension direction. A recess depth of the first valley portion with respect to the two first peak portions gradually reduces. A position of at least one of the two first peak portions in the sipe depth direction and a position of the first valley portion in the sipe depth direction become gradually closer.
