Pneumatic tire
A pneumatic tire includes a land portion provided in a tread portion and including a recess recessed inward in a tire radial direction. The recess includes three or more sides defining an opening that opens to a ground contact surface of the land portion and forming a polygon, and three or more side surface portions defined by the sides and line segments connecting respective vertexes of the sides and a bottom point provided on an inner side of the ground contact surface in the tire radial direction. The side surface portions are formed so as to approach the bottom point as the side surface portions extend inward in the tire radial direction from the ground contact surface.
Tyre
To improve uneven wear resistance performance while maintaining drainage performance. A tyre is provided with a plurality of inclined grooves in a tread portion. Each of the inclined grooves extends from a crown region to a shoulder region. Each of the inclined grooves includes a first portion arranged on the crown region side, a second portion arranged on the shoulder region side, and a third portion connecting between the first portion and the second portion. The third portion has a groove width smaller than the first portion and the second portion. The first portion, the second portion, and the third portion are inclined to the same side with respect to the tyre circumferential direction.
PNEUMATIC TIRE
A pneumatic tire includes a first tread-half region from the tire equator to a first tread edge. In the first tread-half region, a crown land portion and a middle land portion are not provided with any grooves having widths equal to or more than 2 mm. In the first tread-half region, crown, middle and shoulder portions are respectively provided with a first crown sipe, a first middle sipe and a first shoulder sipe each having a width less than 2 mm. The first crown sipe, the first middle sipe and the first shoulder sipe are respectively configured as arc shapes having radiuses R1, R2 and R3 of curvature to protrude in a first circumferential direction side, wherein the radiuses R1, R2 and R3 are satisfied the following relation: R1<=R2<=R3, and R1<R3.
TIRE
A tire 1 in which shoulder land portions 7 are included in a tread portion 2. Provided in the shoulder land portions 7 are a plurality of first shoulder lateral grooves 10 that extend inward in the tire axial direction from tread edges Te and terminate within the shoulder land portions 7. The first shoulder lateral grooves 10 include first groove portions 11 that extend in the tire axial direction from the tread edges Te, second groove portions 12 that extend farther inward in the tire axial direction than the first groove portions 11 and moreover extend at different positions in the tire circumferential direction than the first groove portions 11, and third groove portions 13 connecting the first groove portions 11 and the second groove portions 12.
PNEUMATIC TIRE
A tire 1 according to an example of an embodiment includes a plurality of lands, and a tread having a sipe formed in at least part of the lands. An inclined surface is formed between an opening end on at least one side in a width direction of the sipe and a ground contact surface, the inclined surface having a linear shape in cross section and continuing from the ground contact surface. An intermediate surface is formed between the inclined surface and the sipe, the intermediate surface having an inclination angle with respect to the ground contact surface of 0 degrees or having an inclination angle with respect to the ground contact surface that is smaller than an inclination angle of the inclined surface with respect to the ground contact surface.
Tire
A tire has a tread portion including a first land portion including first and second circumferential edges and and a tread surface. On the first land portion, curved grooves are provided in a tire circumferential direction. Each curved groove extends from a first end on the first circumferential edge side, terminates at a second end within the first land portion, and includes first and second curved portions and on the first end and second end sides, respectively. The first curved portion is an arc curve with a radius of curvature having a center on the first circumferential edge side of the curved groove. The second curved portion is an arc curve with a radius of curvature having a center on the second circumferential edge side of the curved groove.
Pneumatic tire
A pneumatic tire is provided. A tread portion includes shallow grooves formed in a road contact surface of each of shoulder blocks, intermediate blocks, and center blocks, defined by a plurality of longitudinal grooves extending in a tire circumferential direction and a plurality of lateral grooves extending in a tire lateral direction, the shallow groove having a smaller groove depth than the longitudinal groove and the lateral groove. The shallow groove extends along the tire lateral direction, and at least one end thereof communicates with the longitudinal groove or the lateral groove. A contour line of the shallow groove is provided with at least one bend point. A sipe is provided in a flat bottom surface of the shallow groove extending along the shallow groove. Among the shallow grooves, center shallow grooves formed in the center block are each provided with a terminating end portion terminating in the center block.
TIRE
A tire comprises a tread portion having a tread surface and buttress surfaces. The buttress surfaces have inclinations such that the tread edges shift axially outwards as the tread portion is worn off. The tread rubber includes a radially outermost first rubber layer and a radially inner second rubber layer. The loss tangent δ2 of the second rubber layer is larger than the loss tangent δ1 of the first rubber layer. One of or each of the buttress surfaces is provided with an outer lateral groove. The outer lateral groove is located axially outside the tread edge when the tire is new, and when the tread portion is worn off and the tread edge shifts axially outward, the outer lateral groove is at least partially located axially inward of the tread edge.
