LINKED TREAD APPARATUS FOR IMPROVED PERFORMANCE ON LOOSE SURFACES
A tread link assembly is provided for improving the performance of a wheel on loose surfaces. The tread assembly includes a plurality of linked plates forming a circuit around the outer circumference of the wheel. The linked plates include first and second linking structures and releasable fasteners for linking adjacent plates together. The together the plates create a tread surface that is wider than the axial width of the wheel.

DEVICE FOR SELF-EXTRACTION OF VEHICLE USING A TOWING ROPE
A device for self-extraction of a vehicle using a towing rope made in the form of a gripper, including at least three arms arranged circumferentially and having a shape that allows installation on the drive wheel of the vehicle. The device has a traverse with a threaded opening in the center where the threaded rod is installed, at the end of the rod facing the vehicle wheel in the operating position, a hub stop heel is installed. The gripper's arms have two L-shaped parts, the first parts with their side that is oriented along the axis of the device are pivotally installed on the traverse, and the second parts are rigidly connected to the first parts at a section of their sides oriented in the radial direction from the axis of the device.

UTILITY VEHICLE TYRE CHAIN HAVING AT LEAST ONE CLEAT PLATE, UTILITY VEHICLE TYRE AND CLEAT PLATE FOR A UTILITY VEHICLE TYRE CHAIN
The invention relates to a utility vehicle tire chain (1), in particular for forestry vehicles, tractors, or wheel loaders, which comprises a plurality of cleat plates (3) directly or indirectly connected to one another via chain strands (5), wherein each cleat plate (3) comprises at least one cleat (37) to improve traction which extends away from an upper side (49) of the cleat plate (3). The solution according to the invention can simplify the manufacture of a utility vehicle tire chain (1) and improve its stability.
EXTERNAL TENSIONING ANTI-SKID CHAIN FOR AN AUTOMOBILE
An external tensioning anti-skid chain system for an automobile, whose characteristics include a number of U-shaped anti-skid boards with the same structure and a set of tightening mechanisms. The two vertical edges of the U-shaped anti-skid plate are attached to the inside and outside of a tire. The first section and the last section of the U-shaped anti-skid plate are connected by a buckle structure. The tightening mechanism is installed between two adjacent U-shaped anti-skateboards, and the U-shaped anti-skid plates are mutually connected by connection rings. The anti-skid chain system has a simple structure, making installation and disassembly very easy.
Tread cover for a wheel
There is provided a traction cover for a wheel. The wheel has an axle, a tire, and a tire support that supports the tire, and the cover has a tread body having an inner engagement surface and an outer tread surface, the inner engagement surface being sized to engage an outer drive surface of the tire. The cover also has attachment points carried by the inner engagement surface of the tread body, an anchor secured relative to the tire support, and one or more attachment members attached between the anchor and the attachment points of the tread body.
Methods for use by ice adaptive tire systems
In one aspect, a method provides a reciprocating bolt by a bolt assembly having a bolt assembly body, a cap affixed to the bolt assembly body, and a base affixed to the bolt assembly body opposite the cap. The method includes biasing a bolt carrier in the bolt assembly body in a retracted position relative to the bolt assembly, resulting in a center portion of a diaphragm disposed between the cap and the bolt assembly body being deflected toward the cap. The method also includes applying an actuation force to the bolt carrier so as to move the bolt carrier from the retracted position to an extended position relative to the bolt assembly by oppositely deflecting the center portion of the diaphragm toward the base, and discontinuing the applying of the actuation force while the bolt carrier is in the extended position.
Traction Increasing Wheel Accessory System
A traction increasing wheel accessory system for vehicles includes a plurality of anti-skids, an outer chain, an inner chain, an outer fastener, and an inner fastener. Each anti-skid includes a cross body, an outer shoulder body, and an inner shoulder body. The inner shoulder body is terminally connected to the cross body. The outer shoulder body is terminally connected to the cross body, opposite of the inner shoulder body. The outer chain is externally engaged with the outer shoulder body of each of the plurality of the anti-skids. The inner chain is externally engaged with the inner shoulder body of each of the plurality of the anti-skids. The outer fastener and the inner fastener are terminally attached to each end of the inner chain and the outer chain, thus allowing the accessory system to wrap around a wheel assembly.
