ELECTROMAGNETIC SUSPENSION
The present invention provides an electromagnetic suspension capable of suppressing interference with other components and devices, being mounted in a narrow space, and having a small thrust pulsation, a large thrust, and a high damping performance even for a high-frequency vibration source. An electromagnetic suspension of the present invention includes a linear motor that includes an armature and a permanent magnet portion, the armature including a winding and a magnetic body, the permanent magnet portion being disposed on an outer periphery of the armature and including a permanent magnet and a cylindrical magnetic body, and the armature and the permanent magnet portion being relatively linearly driven in the linear motor, in which a recess recessed from an outer peripheral portion of the cylindrical magnetic body and a protrusion protruding from the outer peripheral portion are disposed on the same circumference of the outer peripheral portion of the cylindrical magnetic body.
Device for decoupling vibrations between two systems and the working machine
A device together with an assigned working machine for decoupling vibrations between two systems (2, 4) in the form of spring-mass oscillators, of which one system (2) is assigned to a motion machine and the other system (4) is assigned to an operator operating the motion machine. The other system (4) at least partially performs motions about a transverse axis (Q) during driving motions of the motion machine and in doing so is subject to vertical motions in the direction of a vertical axis (z) at an absolute vertical speed (v.sub.z1,1) serving as an input variable of control devices and/or regulating devices. Those devices control a damping system (8) of the one system (2) and/or the other system (4) to compensate for the vibrations. The respective pitch motion of the other system (4) is detected by at least one rotation rate sensor. The respective measured value (ω.sub.1) of the sensor, preferably amplified by only a predeterminable factor (L.sub.1), results in the absolute vertical speed (v.sub.z1,1) as input variable.
Mass Damper System
A mass damper system includes an unsprung mass, a sprung mass, a suspension component that supports the sprung mass with respect to the unsprung mass, and a damper mass that is connected to the unsprung mass. Motion control components are connected to the sprung mass and a fluid-operated system that transfers forces between the motion control components and the damper mass to regulate motion of the damper mass with respect to the unsprung mass.
Tunable dynamic absorber for attenuating vibration
A dynamic vibration absorber for reducing steering wheel vibration. The vibration absorber includes a resilient member that includes a resilient member inner surface that defines a center cavity that is configured to receive a steering column of a vehicle that generates vibration that is transferred to a steering wheel via the steering column, the center cavity being substantially coaxial with the steering column when attached thereto. The resilient member includes at least one resilient member outer surface that defines a resilient member outer diameter. The vibration absorber includes a rigid body that engages and is supported by the resilient member and that includes six degrees of freedom of movement relative to the steering column, the rigid body including a rigid body inner surface that defines a rigid body center cavity.
SUSPENSION DEVICE
The suspension device for vehicles includes: an electric damper which operates by electricity; a fluid pressure damper which operates by hydraulic pressure; a road-surface state detector which detects a road-surface state ahead of a tire of a vehicle; and a controller which causes at least one to operate among the electric damper and the fluid pressure damper, based on a detection result of the road-surface state detector.
SUSPENSION MOUNT STRUCTURE OF ELECTRIC VEHICLE AND PERFROMANCE EVALUATING METHOD FOR THE SAME
Disclosed are a suspension mount structure of an electrified vehicle and a method for evaluating performance thereof. The suspension mount structure includes an upper structure of the electrified vehicle; and a suspension on which the upper structure is mounted, wherein vibration occurring at a location below the suspension is transmitted to the suspension via an axle and then is transmitted to the upper structure via the suspension, wherein the suspension includes a spring and a damper, wherein the spring and the damper are connected in series to each other and are connected in series to the upper structure.
Spring System Having a Wide-Band Insulating Effect
A spring system of a vehicle, in particular a utility vehicle, includes a first spring/damper unit with a first stiffness and a first damping; a second spring/damper unit with a second stiffness and a second damping; and an additional mass as a tuned-mass absorber. The tuned-mass absorber is coupled to at least one negative stiffness. A vehicle having such a spring system and a method for adapting the stiffness of a spring system are provided.
VIBRATION ISOLATION OF ELECTRONICS AND/OR COMPONENTS
Implementations of the present invention relate to devices, systems, and methods for isolating electronic components from input vibrations. The vibration isolation device may passively isolate the housed electronics from substantially all input vibrations. The vibration isolation device may include elastic members to suspend the electronic components within a support frame such that input vibrations are unable to directly influence the electronic components.
Top Mount Assembly Having Adjustable Damping Characteristics
A top mount assembly including a housing for being connected to the frame of the vehicle. A rod connection assembly is disposed in the housing for being attached to a piston rod of the damper assembly. A chamber is defined between the rod connection assembly and the housing for receiving a fluid. A resilient member is disposed between the rod connection assembly and the housing. A partition assembly is positioned between the resilient member and the housing and axially divides the chamber into an upper chamber region and a lower chamber region. The partition assembly defines at least one passage that extends between the upper chamber region and the lower chamber region. At least one electromagnetic coil is disposed adjacent to the passage for selectively modifying the characteristics of the fluid passing through the passage to modify the damping characteristics of the top mount assembly.
