Bushing and vehicle suspension device

The bushing includes an outer cylinder, an inner cylinder, and an elastic body therebetween. The outer cylinder has a central recess portion formed in a curved shape. The inner cylinder has a central convex portion being formed in a curved shape. A distance between a vertex of the central recess portion and the vertex of the central convex portion is smaller than a distance between a point other than the vertex of the central recess portion and a point at which a straight line extending from the point other than the vertex of the central recess portion to an intersection point of the perpendicular line and the axis of the inner cylinder intersects the central convex portion.

Wheel suspension for a vehicle axle

A wheel suspension for a vehicle axle of a two-track vehicle, having a wheel carrier carrying a vehicle wheel, which is able to be articulated to a vehicle body via a multi-link assembly, which multi-link assembly has a trapezoidal link in the form of a four-point link with two connection points on the body side and two connection points on the wheel carrier side. The trapezoidal link connection points on the wheel carrier side are designed with a higher elastic longitudinal compliance, that is, softer, than the trapezoidal link connection points on the body side.

VOID BUSHING FOR A VEHICLE SUSPENSION

A void bushing for a vehicle suspension is configured to have protrusion parts formed to protrude outwards on a bulge part of an inner pipe. The protrusion parts are located to be disposed in oblique line directions between void portions of an elastic body that is filled between the inner pipe and an outer pipe. In the void bushing, ride comfort characteristics and durability characteristics of a vehicle may be maintained, as they are, under favorable conditions by the void portions. Further the handling response characteristics of the vehicle may be advantageously improved by promoting a rigidity increase through the protrusion parts.

A suspension includes a housing, links, a radius arm, and a radius arm bush. The radius arm bush is provided on a front end of the radius arm, couples the radius arm to a vehicle body, with an elastic body in between, and is disposed vehicle-widthwise inwardly of a wheel center contact point of the rear wheel. The radius arm bush has higher rigidity with respect to turn of the radius arm with respect to the vehicle body in a direction in which an underside of the radius arm is displaced vehicle-widthwise outwardly from an upside of the radius arm, than rigidity with respect to turn of the radius arm with respect to the vehicle body in a direction in which the underside of the radius arm is displaced vehicle-widthwise inwardly from the upside of the radius arm.

A bush for a stabilizer is configured so that surface pressure at an adhered surface of a hole of the bush is uniform in adhering the bush to a bar of the stabilizer, whereby necessary adhesive strength is obtained. A bush has a body part that includes a rectangular part with a rectangular shape and a curving part having a curved shape at an outer circumferential part thereof. The body part has a side surface part on which a protruding part is formed so as to protrude outwardly. When contained in a U-shaped part of a bracket shown in FIG. 3B, the rectangular part is arranged at a straight line part of the U-shaped part, the curving part is arranged at a circular arc part of the U-shaped part, and the protruding part is pressed toward the body part by an inner surface of the U-shaped part.
