VEHICLE PROVIDED WITH PERFUME DIFFUSER AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING THEREOF
A vehicle includes a perfume diffuser including a pair of electrodes, at least one fragrance cartridge including a resistance plate electrically connected to the pair of electrodes, and a controller identifying the types of the fragrance cartridge based on the size of current flowing through the pair of electrodes and the resistance plate.
System for distributing volatile substance with base unit and self-sealing removable capsule
A capsule of a volatile substance distribution system is configured for use with a base unit having a fan and an air outlet configured to direct air driven by the fan away from the base unit. The capsule includes a housing that extends along a longitudinal axis between a first end and a second end. The first end defines an inlet port and the second end defines an outlet port. The housing houses a volatile substance member. The capsule further includes an outlet seal member that seals and unseals the outlet port. The housing, when engaged with the base unit and with the outlet seal member in the unsealed position, is configured to receive the air from the air outlet that flows into the inlet port, past the volatile substance member, and out of the outlet port.
In-Car Dispenser for Fragrance and Disinfectant
A fragrance and disinfectant dispenser is provided for in-car use, having a container that has an open-topped cavity for receiving a fragrance unit, which unit gives off fragrance when heated to a predefined temperature, and for receiving a disinfectant that is in the form of a liquid or a foam, wherein the cavity is formed by side walls and a bottom connected thereto. An electronically actuatable temperature-control unit is arranged below the cavity and is designed to activate the at least one fragrance unit arranged in the at least one cavity in such a way that the fragrance unit gives off fragrance. A dispensing device is arranged in the cavity, is operatively connected to the disinfectant, and is designed to dispense disinfectant from the container when actuated.
Volatile substance distribution system with base unit and removable capsule and airflow coupling therebetween
A capsule for a volatile substance distribution system includes a housing having a first end and a second end and that defines a longitudinal axis that extends between the first end and the second end. The capsule also includes an inlet port disposed proximate the first end and an outlet port disposed proximate the second end. Additionally, the capsule includes a volatile substance member within the housing. The first end is configured to be removably supported by a base unit with the inlet port fluidly connecting with an air outlet of the base unit for receiving an airflow from the air outlet that moves into the housing and across the volatile substance member as the airflow flows from the inlet port to the outlet port. The inlet port is defined by a tapered inlet surface that directs the airflow radially with respect to the longitudinal axis.
MISTING SYSTEM AND METHOD
A system for generating mist includes a vehicle with ventilation system, a misting device configured to atomized fluid to generate a variable amount of mist, and a fan configured to move the variable amount of mist through the ventilation system. The system further includes a particle sensor configured to measure particles and a controller in communication with the particle sensor, misting device, and fan, configured to receive a particle concentration from the particle sensor, compare it to a threshold, and control the variable amount of mist and/or the fan to keep the particle concentration greater than the threshold. A method for controlling mist in a vehicle includes pumping fluid to a misting device, generating a mist of fluid, pumping the mist into a vehicle ventilation system, measuring a particle concentration, and manipulating a misting device, pump, and/or fan using a controller to keep the particle concentration above a threshold.
VEHICLE AIR FRESHENER
An air freshener device for an automobile includes a housing, a removable vented cover, and an interior chamber containing a fan and a heater. The housing is structured for removable receipt of a wax melt container within an upper portion of the interior chamber. In a preferred embodiment, the wax melt container is at least partially formed of silicone and includes a removable spill-proof vented top. A button control on the housing is operable to electrically power the fan and heater, causing a fragrant wax material in the wax melt container to melt, thereby releasing a pleasant aroma out from the vented cover and within the surrounding atmosphere. The interior chamber may further include one or more LEDs for directing light upwardly and out through the vented cover.
Dispenser
A dispenser includes a housing having a cavity. A container is provided within the cavity and includes a volatile material therein. The dispenser further includes a resistive heating wire. The container is in thermal communication with at least a portion of the resistive heating wire.
STRESS RELIEVING DEVICE FOR VEHICLES
A stress relieving device for vehicles includes a supply unit that sprays cedrol into a vehicle cabin, a detection unit that detects an irritation level and a sleepiness level of a passenger in the vehicle cabin, and a controller that operates the supply unit based on the irritation level detected by the detection unit to cause the cedrol to be volatilized into the vehicle cabin and operates the supply unit to reduce a volatilization amount of the cedrol when the detection unit detects sleepiness. When cedrol is volatilized to suppress irritation in the passenger, a relaxation effect is exhibited, but when relaxation is exceed to promote sleepiness, the volatilization amount of cedrol is reduced to suppress sleepiness.
