A vehicle top can comprise a targa top and a retractable top. The retractable top can comprise fabric and a frame. The targa top and the retractable top can be configured to be coupled to a vehicle such that the targa top overlies at least one front seat of the vehicle and the retractable top is pivotable between deployed and retracted positions. The fabric of the retractable top can be disposed closer to the targa top and overlie more of the vehicle when the retractable top is in the deployed position than when the retractable top is in the retracted position.

An interchangeable convertible roof apparatus is provided. In another aspect, a lower roof bow pivot is interchangeable between multiple locations depending on which roof cover configuration is desired during top stack mechanism assembly. A further aspect employs identically same side rails, roof bows and linkages between a fastback convertible roof configuration and a squareback convertible roof configuration, except for a roof bow located above and adjacent to a back window (when in a closed position), such as a four-bow, and optionally a mounting bracket. Still another aspect employs a fastener to allow the same fabric roof cover to be interchanged between differently sized configurations when in its closed position. Moreover, a brace stationarily secures a vehicular roll bar to a top stack mechanism of a convertible roof in a rigidly attached manner.

A protection mechanism for a working vehicle includes a roof above an operator's seat and including a cutout extending along a top-bottom direction, and an electric device at least partially located in the cutout. The cutout has a dimension along a vehicle-body-width direction that is uniform or substantially uniform along a front-to-rear direction or increases in the front-to-rear direction. The cutout has a thickness along the top-bottom direction that decreases in the front-to-rear direction. The roof include, in an upper surface thereof, a first groove located on an opposite side of the cutout from the electric device and extending in a direction away from the cutout.

A vehicle enclosure includes a roof element that rotates upward from the occupant space to increase the passenger opening and increase ease of entry. The roof element is secured to and rotates about a horizontal vehicle frame element. The roof element also supports a windshield at the upper edge of the windshield during travel. The horizontal frame element is formed of a rigid tubular cross-section member including tubular hinge elements to which the roof element is secured to enable the rotating action of the roof element.

A vehicle enclosure includes a roof element that rotates upward from the occupant space to increase the passenger opening and increase ease of entry. The roof element is secured to and rotates about a horizontal vehicle frame element. The roof element also supports a windshield at the upper edge of the windshield during travel. The horizontal frame element is formed of a rigid tubular cross-section member including tubular hinge elements to which the roof element is secured to enable the rotating action of the roof element.

An interchangeable convertible roof apparatus is provided. A truck bed accessory frame is disclosed therein which allows for reconfiguration between an opened position and a closed position. In the open position, objects taller than the frame can loaded onto the truck bed. In the closed position, objects placed in the truck bed can be protected from the environmental elements (e.g. rain and UV rays from the sun).

A tonneau cover having integrated power sources and other accessories includes an outer portion and an inner structural portion. The power source may be one or more solar panels with associated power storage units for storing electrical energy. Accessories may include at least one rear warning sensor attached to a rear facing portion of the tonneau cover and configured to detect a distance to a following vehicle. A visual warning indicator may also be attached to the rear facing portion of the tonneau cover to indicate to the following vehicle when it is following too closely. Side lights and emergency lights integrated into the cover may also be included, as may additional accessories or ports for same.
