Top of a convertible vehicle, comprising a position detector
A convertible top, having a linkage for displacing the top, a roof tip fixed to a front vehicle cowl in a closed position, a top lock which displacable between a locked and released position and secures the roof tip to the front cowl when the top is in the closed position and has a locking support having a pivotable locking hook and a locking counterpart which can be engaged with the locking hook, and a position detector which detects a relative position between the roof tip and the front cowl. The position detector has a sensor unit having at least two Hall-effect sensor elements, one of which switches at a first distance between the sensor unit and a magnetic element and the other one of which switches at a second distance between the sensor unit and the magnetic element, the second distance being different from the first distance.
Liftable roof for recreational vehicles
A liftable roof for recreational vehicles includes a lower frame stably connectable to the upper surface of the recreational vehicle, handling structure connected to the lower frame, and an upper lid operatively connected to the handling structure. The handling structure is configured for moving the lid with respect to the frame between a first lowered position and a second raised position. The upper lid includes a single panel with a first resistant upper layer and a second layer made of thermo-insulating material fixed on a lower surface of the first upper layer.
Roof assembly for a convertible motor vehicle
A roof assembly for a convertible motor vehicle includes a roof to be placed in contact with a frame of the motor vehicle in a closed roof position, a manual locking device carried by the roof and capable of being operated by hand when the roof is in the closed roof position according to a first operating mode, in which the manual locking device cooperates with the frame to carry out a first constraining action in order to secure the roof to the frame in the closed roof position, and according to a second operating mode, in which the locking device refrains from cooperating with the frame, thus removing the first constraining action, characterized in that it further includes an additional locking device carried by the roof to automatically exert a second constraining action to secure the roof to the frame at least in response to a positioning or a movement of the roof in/to the closed roof position, the additional locking device having release means capable of being operated by hand in order to remove the second constraining action.
CONVERTIBLE MOTOR VEHICLE WITH RETRACTABLE HARDTOP AND METHOD FOR THE RECONFIGURATION OF A MOTOR VEHICLE WITH RETRACTABLE HARDTOP
A convertible motor vehicle (is described, comprising a body; a passenger compartment; a front and a rear with a load compartment; and a retractable hardtop; the motor vehicle is capable of being selectively switched to a first configuration in which the hardtop is partly arranged so as to cover the passenger compartment; and a second configuration in which the hardtop is partly housed within the load compartment; the hardtop comprises: a first panel arranged so as to cover, at the top, a first portion of the passenger compartment in the first configuration of the motor vehicle and housed in the load compartment in the second configuration of the motor vehicle; and a second panel arranged so as to cover, at the top, a second portion of the passenger compartment both in the first configuration and in the second configuration of the motor vehicle; the first panel is located in front of the second panel and comprises a third portion and a pair of fourth portions opposite one another along the second axis; the third portion is interposed between the fourth portions along the second axis.
CONVERTIBLE MOTOR-VEHICLE WITH RETRACTABLE RIGID ROOF AND METHOD OF RECONFIGURATION OF A MOTOR VEHICLE WITH RETRACTABLE RIGID ROOF
A convertible motor vehicle (is described, comprising a body; a passenger compartment; a front and a rear with a load compartment; and a retractable hardtop; the motor vehicle is capable of being selectively switched to a first configuration in which the hardtop is at least partly arranged so as to cover the passenger compartment; and a second configuration in which the hardtop is at least partly housed within the load compartment; the hardtop comprises with reference to the normal travel direction of the motor vehicle and in a plan view orthogonal to a third axis transverse to the first and second axes: a first panel arranged so as to cover, at the top, a first portion of the passenger compartment in the first configuration of the motor vehicle and housed in the load compartment in the second configuration of the motor vehicle; and a second panel arranged so as to cover, at the top, a second portion of the passenger compartment both in the first configuration and in the second configuration of said motor vehicle.
