The invention relates to a filling system on a motor vehicle, having at least two storage tanks for liquid or gaseous operating materials, comprising a tank closure cover which closes an opening in the body of the motor vehicle and can be brought from a first position that closes the opening into a second position that releases the opening, wherein at least two filling openings of the storage tanks are arranged below the tank closure cover, which are concealed in the first position of the tank closure cover; a filler trough that forms an enclosure of the filling opening, wherein the filler trough closes the opening in the body of the motor vehicle on the vehicle side and is fixed to the body of the motor vehicle; and at least one filler head, wherein the filling openings are formed as a part of the filler head, the filler head defining at least two mouth-hole necks which are combined to form a common component and are integrally connected to each other, each mouth-hole neck forming a filling opening for another storage tank.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR GROUNDING A FUEL INTAKE SYSTEM

Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a method of forming a cover of a fuel intake system of a vehicle. The method may include providing a mold that defines a cover-forming cavity having a main body portion and a grounding strap portion connected to the main body portion, inputting a forming material into the cover-forming cavity to a specified level, allowing the forming material within the cover-forming cavity to cool and harden, separating the mold to expose the cover having an integrally molded and formed grounding strap, and removing the formed cover having the integrally molded and formed grounding strap from the separated mold.

Fuel supply system

A fuel supply system provided comprises: a resin filler neck configured to have an opening which a fuel nozzle is inserted through and have a multi-layered structure of a conductive layer of electrical conductivity and a non-conductive layer of non-electrical conductivity; a resin fuel pipe connected with the filler neck and configured to have a multi-layered structure including a conductive outer layer of electrical conductivity provided as an outermost layer; and a cap member of electrical conductivity configured to open or close the opening of the filler neck. The filler neck includes a cap member contact part of electrical conductivity arranged to come into contact with the cap member and a conductive outer layer contact part of electrical conductivity arranged to come into contact with the conductive outer layer of the fuel pipe, so as to form a conductive path from the cap member to the conductive outer layer of the fuel pipe.

Fuel injection hole cap for preventing explosion due to static electricity
09776505 · 2017-10-03 ·

Disclosed is a fuel injection hole cap for preventing explosion due to static electricity which is characterized in that it is possible to prevent any fire due to an explosion of fuel evaporation gas in such a way to instantly discharge static electricity the instant that a user touches with a hand injection hole cap before the fuel injection hole cap is opened, without carrying any device with him which is configured to prevent the occurrence of static electricity. For this, at the fuel injection hole cap of a vehicle, there is provided a static electricity discharger which is configured to discharge static electricity and flash by the current of the discharging, thus informing the use of the discharging.

FUNNEL INSERT FOR A FILLER TUBE OF A FUEL TANK

A funnel insert for a filler tube of a fuel tank for a motor vehicle, the funnel insert being arranged in an end region of the filler tube intended to receive a fuel nozzle, and there being a space between the outside of the funnel insert and the inside of the filler tube, in which space a fluid barrier is arranged. According to the invention, the fluid barrier is in the form of a sealing body arranged on the outer circumference of the funnel insert, which sealing body comprises a sealing lip resting on the inside of the filler tube in portions or circumferentially, and consists of a material having a higher flexibility than the material of the funnel insert.
