VEHICLE OPERATION INPUT APPARATUS AND VEHICLE OPERATION INPUT METHOD
The present disclosure is a vehicle operation input apparatus that performs an input on a vehicle-mounted device that achieves a predetermined function at a plurality of levels. The apparatus obtains, as input content, display content displayed in the first position corresponding to a user input, in which a level setting is displayed, and determines a change amount based on the number of contact points corresponding to the user input.
MODE CONTROLLER FOR VEHICLE, METHOD THEREFOR, AND VEHICLE SYSTEM
A mode controller for a vehicle, a method therefor, and a vehicle system are provided. The mode controller includes a screen configuration device that configures a touch input screen on a touch screen and a controller that detects a pattern of a touch input which is input through the touch input screen. A determination device compares the detected pattern of the touch input with a plurality of patterns which are previously defined for each mode to determine whether there is a pattern identical to the pattern of the touch input. A mode execution device executes a function of a mode defined in response to the pattern identical to the pattern of the touch input.
Virtual Human-Machine Interface System and Corresponding Virtual Human-Machine Interface Method for a Vehicle
A virtual human-machine interface system for a vehicle including at least one projection surface disposed within the vehicle and a corresponding virtual human-machine interface method for a vehicle are provided. The virtual human-machine interface system comprises at least one micro-mirror projection device for projecting an image on the at least one projection surface, at least one sensor for detecting commands given by a user by determining the position of a part of the user's body within the vehicle, and a control unit for controlling the human-machine interface system. The position of the image projected by the at least one projection device within the vehicle may be modified by a specific command given by the user.
CONTROLLING VEHICLE FUNCTIONS
A computer that includes a processor and memory, wherein the processor is programmed to execute instructions stored in the memory. Instructions may include: receive tactile data via a touch-sensitive user interface in a vehicle; using the data, identify a previously-configured symbol primitive that is associated with controlling a vehicle function; and provide an instruction to control the function based on the identification.
Terminal apparatus, vehicle, and method of controlling the terminal apparatus
A terminal apparatus may include a display configured to display a driving route of a vehicle; a touch panel provided on the display and configured to detect a touch input; and a controller configured to, when a first tap input to the touch panel is detected and then at least one second tap input within a predetermined time is detected while the first tap is maintained, recognize a tap-tap interaction on the basis of input directions of the first tap and the at least one second tap, enlarge a driving route screen of the vehicle, which is displayed on the display, in a predetermined direction on the basis of the recognized tap-tap interaction, and display a driving route of the vehicle which is not visible before the enlargement of the screen.
MOTOR VEHICLE OPERATING DEVICE
A motor vehicle operating device (10) for an interior of a motor vehicle has an operating surface (26) which has a plurality of switching symbols (28) displayed thereon, each of which having a touch sensor (38) associated therewith. The touch sensors (38) are each configured to detect an approach to and/or a touch of the operating surface (26). The motor vehicle operating device (10) further comprises a plurality of pressure sensors (40) which are associated with the switching symbols (28), the number of pressure sensors (40) being smaller than the number of touch sensors (38).
Operation apparatus
An operation apparatus includes a detector that detects contact of a plurality of operating fingers on an operating surface, an area calculator that calculates an area of a detection region in the operating surface where the operating fingers have been detected, and a determiner that, after a state in which two operating fingers are detected has changed to a state in which one operating finger is detected, obtains a sum of areas of two detection regions where the two operating fingers are detected and an area of one detection region where the one operating finger is detected from the surface area calculator, and determines that an operation made by the two operating fingers is continuing when a continuation condition, in which the area of the one detection region is greater than or equal to the sum of the areas of the two detection regions, is established.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR A RECONFIGURABLE VEHICLE DISPLAY
A system or method for reconfiguring (dynamically) a vehicle display may comprise: a Graphical User Interface (GUI) including a first display area; an input gesture area of the first display area; a HUD unit; a non-transitory computer readable medium having instructions stored thereon that, when executed by a processor, configure the system to: (1) display, at a first time, a configuration area to a portion of the GUI, wherein the configuration area includes at least one of a vehicle dash information, readouts, instruments, indicators, or controls arranged as a visual representation of a virtual dash display for the HUD unit; (2) receive a gesture input at the GUI, wherein the gesture input corresponds to an instruction to reconfigure at least one of a layout, size, position, features, instruments, indicators, color schemes, or controls for display on at least one of an above a vehicle dash by the HUD unit, a reconfigurable dash display, a reconfigurable console display, or a reconfigurable user device display; and wherein the gesture input is at least one of hand gesture or touch gesture received through at least one of a gesture capture region or image capture disposed on at least one of a dash, console, dash display, or console display.
System and Method for a Vehicle Mediating Zone-Specific Control of a Communication Device
A method and system of providing zone-specific control of one or more of features of at least one communication device by a vehicle, the system comprising: a microprocessor executable feature control module connected with at least communication device (connected device), wherein the feature control module is configured to receive input from at least one of a sensor of the communication device or specific zone/s to locate the at least one communication device with respect to the zone/s; at least one of the feature control module or device location module determining for the at least one connected device, the specific zone associated with the at least one connected device, wherein the specific zone is labeled with a rule or condition for degree of restriction of one or more features of the at least one connected device; and the feature control module limiting access or control of one or more features of the at least one connected device based on the rules or conditions assigned to the determined zone, wherein the rules or condition are defined by at least one of a group, entity, individual, manufacture, in response to a vehicle or communication device detected input or condition, or any combination thereof.
Method for operating an operator control device of a motor vehicle in multi-finger operation
A number of objects simultaneously touching a touch-sensitive operator control unit of an operator control apparatus are detected and a trigger position at which one of the number of objects detected touches the touch-sensitive operator control unit is determined. When more than one object touches the touch-sensitive operator control unit, a touch pressure with which the touch-sensitive operator control unit is acted on overall by the number of objects detected is compared to a predefined pressure threshold value. A function of the motor vehicle, assigned to the trigger position, is triggered if the touch pressure is higher than the predefined pressure threshold value. The predefined pressure threshold value is defined in a manner dependent on the number of objects detected.
