A cover for an operator console of a machine includes a first section rotatably coupled to the operator console. The first section selectively rotates between a first position and a second position about a rotational axis. The cover also includes a second section rotatably coupled to the operator console and the first section. The second section selectively rotates between a third position and a fourth position about the rotational axis. The second section is also adapted to engage with the first section during rotation of the second section from the third position to the fourth position to rotate the first section from the first position to the second position. The second section is further adapted to engage with the first section during rotation of the second section from the fourth position to the third position to rotate the first section from the second position to the first position.

A vehicle control device incorporating at least one vehicle control element and a vehicle terminal is disclosed, the at least one vehicle control element being adapted to control a functionality of a vehicle implement or tool, the vehicle terminal incorporating a terminal display, the terminal display being adapted to alter the functionality of the vehicle implement or tool associated with the vehicle control element, the terminal display also indicating the functionality associated with the vehicle control element, wherein the vehicle control element incorporates a vehicle control display element, the vehicle control display element indicating whether the functionality of the vehicle control element has been altered. This enables a driver when looking at the vehicle control element easily to see from the vehicle control display element whether the functionality of the vehicle control element has been altered.

A steering console system for a machine includes a longitudinally-extending rail configured to be fastened to a surface of the machine, the rail including a pair of convex-shaped edges, a steering console, and a console carriage slidably connected to the rail, the console carriage including a bracket, a plurality of rollers connected to the bracket, a support arm connected to the bracket to support the steering console, and a vertical pivot connected to the bracket and to the support arm. Each of the rollers has a concave groove configured to roll along the convex shaped edges, and each of the rollers is configured to rotate about an axis of rotation extending approximately normal with respect to the rail.

A cover for an operator console of a machine includes a first section rotatably coupled to the operator console. The first section selectively rotates between a first position and a second position about a rotational axis. The cover also includes a second section rotatably coupled to the operator console and the first section. The second section selectively rotates between a third position and a fourth position about the rotational axis. The second section is also adapted to engage with the first section during rotation of the second section from the third position to the fourth position to rotate the first section from the first position to the second position. The second section is further adapted to engage with the first section during rotation of the second section from the fourth position to the third position to rotate the first section from the second position to the first position.

An agricultural tractor having an auxiliary control station located outside of the tractor cab. The auxiliary control station is used for the actuation of tractor components, e.g. hydraulic cylinders, when an operator is outside of the cab. The auxiliary control station has a user interface which allows the external controls of the auxiliary control station to be reassigned to operate different actuatable elements of the tractor, thereby providing for increased ease-of-use of the tractor when an operator is outside of the cab.

The present describes a work vehicle where an operator can, on the work vehicle side, confirm which working machine is engaged and set which working machine to engage. A tractor, to which a working machine can be mounted, is provided with: a liquid crystal panel selectably displaying an engageable working machine mounted and displaying the currently engaged working machine so as to be identifiable; an operation unit (encoder dial, enter button, and command buttons) for carrying out selection and determination operations for the working machine displayed on the liquid crystal panel; and a control device that, when a determination operation is carried out by the operation unit for a desired working machine, disengages the currently engaged working machine, and configures the working machine for which the determination operation has been carried out to be engaged.

A work vehicle includes: a display device provided in a cab and configured to display work assistance information to be overlaid on an actual view of a work site; a bucket position detector configured to detect a position of a bucket; and a display controller configured to control a content to be displayed on the display device and configured to cause the work assistance information to be displayed around the bucket while causing the work assistance information to follow the movement of the bucket based on the detected position. When work assistance information becomes close to a boundary of a display area of the display device due to the movement of the bucket, the display controller is configured to cause the work assistance information to be displayed on the display device with a relative position between the work assistance information and the bucket in the display area being changed.

An information interface apparatus (27, 27a) in particular for an operator's platform (24) of an earth working machine (10), for example a road milling machine, recycler, stabilizer, or surface miner, having an interface subassembly (52) encompassing a housing (54) and a functional surface (56) that is received in the housing (54) and embodied to input and/or output information, is characterized in that the information interface apparatus (27, 27a) comprises a protective plate (58), embodied separately from the interface subassembly (52), to cover the functional surface (56); the protective plate (58) comprising an anchoring portion (64) with which the protective plate (58) is anchorable on a counterpart anchoring portion (68) of the interface subassembly (52) and the anchoring portion (64) is thus securable against removal from the functional surface (56); and the protective plate (58) comprising a latching portion (66), different from the anchoring portion (64), with which the protective plate (58) is releasably latchable on a counterpart latching portion (72) of the interface subassembly (52) and the latching portion (66) is thus securable against removal from the functional surface (56).
