The reinforcing member includes a reinforcing member body having a U-shaped cross section having a lower opening, and including a reinforcing member top wall; a pair of reinforcing member lateral walls; and a pair of reinforcing member bent wall parts each being bent outwardly from a lower end of a corresponding one of the reinforcing member lateral walls in a lateral direction of the reinforcing member, and extending upwardly between a corresponding lower rail outside lateral wall and a corresponding lower rail inside lateral wall.

Reinforced track assembly for vehicle seat

A track assembly includes a first track having a first inner surface, a first support coupled to the first inner surface, a second track having a second inner surface, and a second support coupled to the second inner surface. The second track is slidably coupled to the first track. The first support has a first free end that extends from the first inner surface at a downward sloping angle. The second support has a second free end that extends from the second inner surface at an upward sloping angle. The first support and the second support are positioned such that the second free end is disposed above the first free end.

SEAT SLIDE DEVICE

A seat slide device includes a pair of sliders each including a fixed rail, a movable rail slidably guided by the fixed rail, a bracket on the movable rail configured so that front and rear sides swing opposite to each other in a vertical direction with a longitudinal-intermediate part as a fulcrum, a support bracket supported on the bracket via a hinge and configured to rotate in only one direction from a predetermined orientation about an lateral-direction axis relative to the bracket, a movement-restricting portion configured to restrict sliding of the movable rail while a rear part of the bracket is raised and to release the restriction while the rear part of the bracket is lowered; and a towel bar connecting each support bracket. The hinge part prohibits a rotation of the support bracket while the towel bar is lifted and permits the rotation while the towel bar is lowered.

Vehicle seat passenger protection structure

A cover (11), for a rail pair (3) of a longitudinally adjustable vehicle seat (1), includes at least one bottom rail (5) affixed to the vehicle and one top rail (7) which top rail (7) is longitudinally movable relative to the bottom rail (5). The cover (11) has a cover element (11.1) arranged and placed on at least one end (7.1, 7.2) of the rail pair (3) and an integrated stiffening element (11.2), designed to stiffen at least one of the two rails (5, 7), which protrudes into an interior chamber of the rail pair (3).

RAIL PAIR FOR A VEHICLE SEAT

A rail pair (1), for a vehicle seat (10), includes at least a lower seat rail (S1) and an upper seat rail (S2), which engage around one another in such a way that a rail profile is formed and which can be moved in relation to each other in a longitudinal direction (L) and can be interlocked by a rail locking device (2). Rolling elements (4) are arranged between the seat rails (S1, S2) in an interaction region. The upper seat rail (S2) includes two side walls (S2.1, S2.2), which two side walls (S2.1, S2.2), in a vertical orientation, protrude largely in parallel and perpendicularly from a bottom region (S2.3). One of the side walls (S2.2) is bent outward in a continued course in some regions of the longitudinal direction (L).

Long rail assembly with retention latch
11345259 · 2022-05-31 · ·

A long rail assembly is attached to a floor within an automotive vehicle for transposing vehicle seats between a plurality of positions. The long rail assembly includes a rail drive assembly configured to travel along an interior cavity of a fixed long rail. The fixed long rail has a generally U-shaped cross-section and includes a pair of flanges with mating teeth extending inwardly from a pair of outer walls. The rail drive assembly includes a retention latch and a wheel assembly coupled adjacent a first and a second end of the rail drive assembly. The rail drive assembly is operable between a use position and a loaded position in which at least one of the retention latches engages the mating teeth to interlock the rail drive assembly and the fixed long rail in response to forces causing upward loading on the rail drive assembly.

SLIDING RAIL HAVING ENHANCED RIGIDITY MODULUS

A sliding rail having an enhanced rigidity modulus including an upper rail assembly, a lower rail assembly, and retainers is provided. The upper rail assembly is slidably arranged in a sliding groove in the lower rail assembly through a pair of retainers. First raised ribs and/or steel ball clamping grooves are arranged at intervals on surfaces of the retainers. A steel ball is mounted in the steel ball clamping groove. A supporting structure extending backwards in a length direction of the retainers is arranged at a rear end of each of the retainers. When the upper rail assembly slides backwards to the farthest stroke, the supporting structure provides longitudinal auxiliary support for a mid-rear section of the upper rail assembly, the supporting structure is in contact with the lower rail assembly, and a gap is reserved between the supporting structure and the upper rail assembly.
