CRADLING PASSENGER SEAT ASSEMBLY
Described are passenger seats having a seat frame and a seat bottom slidingly and pivotally attached to the seat frame that, when the passenger seats are reclined, are configured to articulate forward from an upright configuration of the passenger seat to a second seat position corresponding to a reclined configuration of the passenger seat. The seat bottom can include an aft articulating mechanism that defines a declining first path in an aft-to-forward direction to cause the aft end of the seat bottom to drop when the seat bottom articulates forward; and a forward articulating mechanism connected with the seat bottom near a forward end of the seat bottom that defines a second path shaped to cause the forward end of the seat bottom to move upward when the seat bottom articulates forward, such that the seat bottom tilts aft in response to articulating forward when the passenger seat is reclined.
Emergency vehicle patient transport systems
Emergency vehicle patient transport systems are disclosed. In one embodiment, an emergency vehicle patient transport system includes: a loading passage providing access to an interior of an emergency vehicle; one or more tracks coupled to a floor of the emergency vehicle, a ceiling of the emergency vehicle, a wall of the emergency vehicle or combinations thereof wherein, a travel path is delineated by the one or more tracks; and a chair slidingly engaged with the one or more tracks, and vertically positioned between the floor and the ceiling. The chair locks in one or more set positions. And, the one or more set positions are selected from a group consisting of an airway care position, an extended airway care position, a procedural care position, a responder position, a patient care position, and a patient load position.
VEHICLE SEAT HAVING COMBINED ADJUSTMENT OPTIONS
The invention relates to a vehicle seat comprising a seat part and a backrest part, the seat part being configured shell-shaped on the lower face, at least one front end of the seat part being displaceable forwards and upwards in a combined manner and the inclination of the seat part being adjustable by means of an adjustment movement of the seat part with respect to a seat support shell arranged below the seat part.
Network of rails for a vehicle
A network of rails for a vehicle includes a lateral rail that extends primarily along a lateral axis of the vehicle, a longitudinal rail that extends primarily along a longitudinal axis of the vehicle, and a circular rail that interacts with at least one of the lateral rail and the longitudinal rail.
METHOD OF POSITIONING A VEHICLE SEAT
A method of moving a vehicle seat between a forward-facing orientation and a rear-facing orientation includes the steps of: translating the vehicle seat within the vehicle along a track, the track extending in a direction having a component in a lengthwise direction of the vehicle and in a width-wise direction of the vehicle; and rotating the vehicle seat relative to the track.
WELCOMING SLIDE RAIL
A welcoming slide rail, mounted at the bottom of a seat, the welcoming slide rail including: a slide rail assembly, including a left slide rail and a right slide rail, the left slide rail including a left upper rail and a left lower rail, the right slide rail including a right upper rail and a right lower rail, the left upper rail and the left lower rail being in sliding connection by a left motor, and the right upper rail and the right lower rail being in sliding connection by a right motor; and a rotating mechanism, including a wall plate, first, second and third main rotation points, and first and second auxiliary supporting points, the wall plate being fixedly connected to the bottom of the seat.
VEHICLE SEAT
A vehicle seat, includes a guide describing a trajectory, said vehicle seat being movable on the guide along the trajectory so that the vehicle seat is moved away from a vehicle center, and a front side of the vehicle seat is rotated about a vertical axis of the vehicle seat toward the vehicle center.
Interior variable vehicle
An internal variable vehicle may include instrument panels provided on a side of an internal space of the vehicle, having a structure in which a portion thereof overlaps, configuring an embedding portion of the internal space when being developed, and forming an opening through which the internal space of the vehicle is externally exposed out of the vehicle when the portion thereof overlaps; a seat movable from the internal space of the vehicle to the outside; a guide provided on a floor of the internal space of the vehicle, and providing a path in which the seat is movable from the internal space of the vehicle to an opening side of the instrument panels; and a fixing module configured of fixing the seat to one point of the guide and releasing the fixing of the seat from the point of the guide when the seat is required to move to the outside of the vehicle through the opening of the instrument panels.
ROTATING VEHICLE SEAT AND A METHOD FOR ROTATING A ROTATING VEHICLE SEAT
A rotating vehicle seat includes a backrest attached to a seat base frame and arranged to be rotatably adjustable around a first horizontal axis, a seat base attached to the frame and arranged to be rotatably adjustable around a second horizontal axis parallel to the first horizontal axis, a gear mechanism connected to the frame arranged to rotate the frame from a forward facing position to a backward facing position, wherein the gear mechanism comprises a track, and the frame comprises a guide that is configured to engage the track, such that when the gear mechanism is actuated, the frame is translated in a xy-plane and is rotated around a first vertical axis, and wherein the backrest and the seat base, respectively, are arranged to be folded upwards during at least part of the rotation of the frame around the first vertical axis.
Seat-based force nullification systems and methods for seated vehicle occupants
System and methods for nullifying one or more of lateral and longitudinal acceleration forces experienced by an occupant of a vehicle in a seated or standing position while the vehicle is traveling along a travel plane, including: a chassis structure; an occupant cell one of coupled to and defined by the chassis structure; and one or more of a seat assembly configured to receive the occupant in a seated position and a standing platform assembly configured to receive the occupant in a standing position disposed within the occupant cell; wherein the one or more of the seat assembly and the standing platform assembly is/are configured to pivot one or more of: laterally at a longitudinal pivot point with respect to the chassis and travel plane; and longitudinally at a transverse pivot point with respect to the chassis and travel plane.
