SEAT FRAME FOR A HEIGHT-ADJUSTABLE AND TILTABLE SEAT PAN
20180001793 · 2018-01-04 · ·

A seat frame is disclosed for a height-adjustable and tiltable seat pan of a motor vehicle seat. The seat frame has two side rails, a first cross bar, a second cross bar, and a drive unit. The first cross bar is supported in the two side rails and the second cross bar serves to support the seat pan. The second cross bar is mounted so as to be rotatable about fixed first axis in the two side rails. The second cross bar is rotated by the drive unit. The drive unit has an actuating motor and an actuator that is displaceable via the actuating motor and connected to the second cross bar outside the first axis. The drive unit is mounted on the first cross bar and rotatable about a second axis of the first cross bar which is fixed in the two side rails.

Seat control system for vehicle

The present disclosure provides a seat control system for a vehicle, which may sense whether passengers have been seated on a front seat and a rear seat, and easily implement sleep and rest postures of the front seat and the rear seat through the height adjustment, the reclining adjustment, and the like of the front seat and the rear seat according to the sensed result.

VEHICLE SEAT CRASH SECURING DEVICE AND VEHICLE SEAT
20220371485 · 2022-11-24 ·

The invention relates to a vehicle seat crash securing device (1) used for a vehicle seat of a motorized vehicle. The vehicle seat crash securing device (1) comprises a locking device for locking a height of a seat cushion frame. An actuator (3) is actuated in the case of a crash for tightening a belt rope (5). A blocking element in a blocking position holds a locking element of the locking device in an unlocked position. In a releasing position, the blocking element releases the locking element. The locking element is biased by a spring element into the locked position. The blocking element can be moved by a friction force generated by the actuator (3) from the blocking position into the releasing position. Preferably, the friction force is generated by a follower (8) (e.g. a friction wheel (9)), the follower (8) being pressed against the belt rope (5). The movement of the follower (8) is coupled to the movement of the blocking element.

Vehicle seat

A vehicle seat (1) is provided with a cushion frame (5) that can be moved up and down by means of a link mechanism (6). To assist the upward movement of the cushion frame (5), a torsion bar (14) is disposed in a connection pipe (12) having both ends secured to a pair of left and right rear links (11, 11). A position holding member (24) holds the torsion bar (14) and is supported by the connection pipe (12), whereby the positional shift of the axis of the torsion bar (14) is suppressed. The position holding member (24) engages an extension portion (16) extending perpendicular to the shaft portion (15), and thus, does not rotate around the axis relative to the torsion bar (14). Therefore, in the position holding member (24), portions requiring reinforcement against a transverse force from the torsion bar (14) are limited a narrow range, and the position holding member (24) can be reduced in size and weight.

REAR LINK ASSEMBLY FOR VEHICLE SEAT AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING SAME
20220314846 · 2022-10-06 ·

Disclosed herein is a rear link assembly for a vehicle seat. The rear link assembly includes; a pipe provided with first and second stop protrusion portions in the vicinity of each end thereof; a link bracket fixed between the first and second stop protrusion portions; a serration formed by repeatedly forming pluralities of protrusions and depressions on the inner circumferential surface of the coupling hole of the link bracket into which the pipe is inserted; stepped portions formed on the protrusions; and a first introduced volume portion formed in such a manner that one side of the second stop protrusion portion is deformed and introduced into the stepped portions.

ACTUATING DEVICE, IN PARTICULAR FOR A VEHICLE SEAT, AND VEHICLE SEAT

An actuating device (100) has a first part (5a; 334; 434) and a second part (5b; 310; 412) which can be pivoted about a first axis (A) relative to the first part (5a). A first segment (140) can be coupled to the first part. A second segment (150) can be rotated about the first axis (A) relative to the first segment (140) and can be connected to a locking device of a component (20) and/or to a locking device (350; 450) of another component (330; 430). Rotation of a deflecting element (120) moves a transfer element (130) such that the second segment (150) is not rotated about the first axis (A). Changing a distance between the first axis (A) and a second axis © allows the second segment (150) to be rotated about the first axis by the transfer element (130). A vehicle seat includes such an actuating device (100).

VEHICLE SEAT SUPPORT ASSEMBLY

A vehicle seat support assembly includes: a front link; and a front link bracket coupled to an upper rail of a vehicle seat and including a sagging support portion configured to inhibit sagging of the front link toward the upper rail. In particular, the front link is pivotally coupled to the front link.

DEFORMATON ELEMENT FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE SEAT

A deformation element for a motor vehicle seat, which element is intended to be arranged on a subassembly of a motor vehicle seat, having a base member, a deformation portion which is formed on the base member and on which the deformation element can be deformed and/or destroyed under the action of an external force, and a force introduction region by means of which a structural element of a motor vehicle seat can be brought into operational connection with the deformation portion so that a force acting on that structural element can be introduced via the force introduction region into the deformation portion. The deformation portion is formed by means of partial deformation of the material of the deformation element and at the transition of the deformation portion to the base member of the deformation element there is a weakening region which defines at least one tear line.

HEIGHT-ADJUSTABLE CONTROL LEVER CARRIER FOR A COMMERICAL VEHICLE SEAT
20220194267 · 2022-06-23 · ·

The invention relates to a height-adjustable control lever carrier for a commercial vehicle seat, which carrier is at least partially arranged to the side of a seat part, wherein the control lever carrier is provided for receiving at least one control lever for controlling vehicle equipment and at least one armrest, and is characterised in that the control lever carrier comprises a multi-joint mechanism construction, by means of which the control lever carrier is adjustable both in a seat height direction and in a seat longitudinal direction relative to the seat part.
