Head restraint for a vehicle seating assembly
A vehicle interior system of a vehicle includes first and second seating assemblies and a roof positioned vehicle-upward of the first and second seating assemblies. A first head restraint of the first seating assembly is pivotably coupled to the roof and operable to pivot relative to the roof about a first pivot axis between a stowed position and a use position vehicle-downward of the stowed position. A second head restraint of the second seating assembly is coupled to the roof and operable to pivot relative to the roof about a second pivot axis between a stowed position and a use position vehicle-downward of the stowed position. The first pivot axis is not parallel to the second pivot axis.
HEAD RESTRAINT SYSTEM FOR A SEAT
A head restraint system may have a head restraint retainer with a first surface adapted to support a cushioning material, and a second surface opposite the first surface. The second surface may have a selectively biased clip and at least one leg. The system may also have a panel with a clip port adapted to selectively retain the clip and at least one leg port adapted to selectively retain the at least one leg. A seat having a head restraint system and a method for connecting the components of the system are also provided.
Seat
A seat (S) comprises a seat portion (SP) having an occupant supporting surface (SPU) and a back portion (BP) having an occupant supporting surface (BPU) and head rest assembly (1), the head rest assembly (1) having a head rest portion (2) and a side impact portion (3), the head rest assembly (1) being secured or securable to the seat (S), and being movable towards and away from a seat portion (SP) of the seat (S), the side impact portion (3) comprising a pair of peripheral elongate portions (3a) which are pivotable together about a common pivot axis (P) and relative to the head rest portion (2) between a first position wherein each peripheral elongate portion (3a) extends along the occupant supporting surface (BPU) of the back portion (BP) of the seat (S) toward the seat portion (SP) and a second or stowed position.

CLAMPING DEVICE FOR INTELLIGENT APPARATUS AND MULTIFUNCTIONAL AUTOMOBILE NECK PILLOW
The technical field of automobile accessories is related to and a clamping device for an intelligent apparatus and a multifunctional automobile neck pillow are provided. The clamping device includes: a T-shaped fixing seat, used to be fixed onto an automobile seat; and a plate clamping mechanism, arranged in the fixing seat and used to clamp the intelligent apparatus. The plate clamping mechanism includes: a first clamping block, arranged in the fixing seat and being L-shaped; and a second clamping block, slidably connected into the first clamping block. The first clamping block and the second clamping block are used to clamp the intelligent apparatus. When the clamping device is used, the fixing seat is fixed to a headrest of the automobile seat, and the intelligent apparatus can be clamped by the plate clamping mechanism, thereby facilitating a rear passenger to use the intelligent apparatus.
Headrest support
The invention relates to a surface structure (10) for a contact surface or support surface (23) of a vehicle equipment part, in particular for a vehicle head restraint (40) or vehicle armrest, the surface structure (10) being elastically deformable, the surface structure (10) comprising at least one surface body (13, 13a, 13b), each surface body (13, 13a, 13b) being connected to at least one other surface body (13, 13a, 13b) and/or to the vehicle equipment part by means of at least one elastically deformable connecting element (16).
Head restraint of a vehicle seat
A head restraint of a vehicle seat includes a base element, at least one connection element positioned on the base element for connecting the base element to a backrest of a vehicle seat, a bearing element having a contact surface for contacting a head of a user of the vehicle seat, and a holding element which can be adjusted along a depth axis relative to the base element. The depth axis is oriented perpendicular to the contact surface. The bearing element is connected to the holding element by a damping device, wherein the damping device damps a movement of the bearing element relative to the holding element.
Reduced-impact-and-recoil headrest
A reduced-impact-and-recoil headrest that includes a ratchet mechanism, allowing components to incrementally translate with respect to each other. The reduced-impact-and-recoil headrest includes an exterior housing surface that is deformable, providing cushioning for a vehicle occupant's head. The headrest also includes an interior compartment within the housing, with the ratchet mechanism disposed within the interior compartment. The headrest is configured to decrease the force of a collision experienced by the occupant, thereby decreasing the likelihood and severity of traumatic brain injuries resulting from the occupant's head striking a stationary headrest. Instead, the reduced-impact-and-recoil headrest is configured to incrementally move with the occupant's head, providing an incremental cushion for the occupant's head. The ratchet mechanism also prevents the reduced-impact-and-recoil headrest from automatically translating back to its pre-impact position, thereby decreasing the occupant's risk of ligament tear and whiplash.
VEHICLE HEADREST SAFE
An automobile headrest safe includes an exterior and a container positioned within the interior of the exterior housing. The container is removable from the exterior housing so that the container may be completely removed from the exterior housing and transported separately from the exterior housing. The container includes a body portion having an open end and a pivotal, reciprocating side door. The container may include a carrying handle. The pivotal side door is coupled to a lock. The headrest safe may be coupled to the automobile seat through a mounting system having a mounting plate coupled to the exterior housing and mounting posts extending from the mounting plate.
Headrest sleeve and headrest
A headrest sleeve for assembly to a bracket fixed to a stay for supporting a main body of a headrest. The headrest sleeve includes a sleeve body formed in a tubular shape, a collar-shaped flange extending from one end portion of the sleeve body and disposed so as to be capable of contacting the bracket, a bracket-fitting section extending from the flange toward an opposite side from the sleeve body and configured to be capable of being fitted into a fitting hole formed in the lower bracket, and an anchor clip provided at the bracket-fitting section and configured to undergo elastic deformation and elastic recovery during the fitting of the bracket-fitting section into the fitting hole so as to engage with the bracket from an opposite side from the flange.
