System and method of controlling pattern skin lighting device for vehicle
A method of controlling a pattern skin lighting device for a vehicle is provided. The method includes generating a plurality of random numbers and accumulating the number of continuous turn-on times for each lightening cell in an arrangement of the lightening cells configuring a pattern skin lighting device. Additionally, the method includes selecting a turn-on target lightening cell, lightening cells having an accumulative value of the number of continuous turn-on times that is a predetermined reference value or less, among the lightening cells corresponding to the generated random number, and turning on a light emitting element of the selected turn-on target lightening cell.
CONNECTION UNIT FOR CONNECTING TWO COMPONENTS WITH A SPACE IN BETWEEN
A connection unit for connecting a first component to a second component with a distance in between. The connection unit has a connection screw having a head in the shape of a first ball segment and a shank. The shank has an outer thread. The connection unit also has a base element having: a second outer thread, and a first portion having a first inner diameter; a through-opening is provided at a second axial end and has a second inner diameter which is smaller than the first inner diameter, and an outer side of the base element is in the shape of a second ball segment. The first portion and the through-opening are distanced axially and are connected by a transition portion, which at least partly provides a bearing surface for the head of the connection screw, and the shank extends through the through-opening.
HOLDING ELEMENT FOR HOLDING A COMPONENT TO BE SECURED, AND HOLDING SYSTEM WITH SUCH AN ELEMENT
A holding element for holding a component to be secured includes: a base region with a first receiving and holding region for an elongate fixing element, a second receiving and holding region for the component, and a first hollow cylindrical engagement region; a spacer element with a spacer surface and a second hollow cylindrical engagement region in engagement with the first hollow cylindrical engagement region; and a sealing element, of a softer material than the spacer element, and having a hollow insertion region, wherein the insertion region has an inner round casing surface configured to bear against the elongate fixing element all around when the fixing element is secured in the holding element and thus seal against wet or dirt, wherein the distance from the spacer surface to the base region can be adjusted.
Fastening element
A fastening element for connecting a first component to a second component may have a pin-like connecting element with a first fastening region and a second fastening region. The fastening element may also have a sleeve which is configured for insertion into a receiving opening of the first component. The fastening element may also have a compensation element which is provided with a receptacle for receiving the first fastening region and which is configured for insertion and adjustment in a longitudinal direction in the sleeve. At least one drive interface may be provided on the compensating element by which the compensating element can be adjusted in the longitudinal direction in the sleeve.
Lamp for vehicle
A lamp for a vehicle includes a plurality of optical modules, a first bracket arranged behind the plurality of optical modules, the first bracket performing aiming in a first direction for the plurality of optical modules, and a second bracket arranged between the plurality of optical modules and the first bracket, the second bracket performing aiming in a second direction that is orthogonal to the first direction for each of the plurality of optical modules. In particular, the second bracket is movably coupled to the first bracket to allow each of the plurality of optical modules to be aimed in the second direction as the second bracket moves.
Vehicle taillight assembly
A vehicle taillight assembly includes a first bracket and a second bracket. The first bracket is configured to be supported to a vehicle strut structure. The second bracket is fixed to the first bracket at an inboard facing side of the first bracket. The second bracket protrudes in an inboard facing direction towards the vehicle strut structure.
Vehicle lighting assembly and installation method
A vehicle lighting assembly installation method includes, among other things, coupling an outer panel of a vehicle to a body structure of the vehicle, biasing a lighting assembly outward away from the body structure toward the outer panel, and securing the lighting assembly to the body structure during the biasing. A vehicle assembly includes, among other things, a body structure of a vehicle, an outer panel secured to the body structure, a lighting assembly secured to the body structure, and a biasing member that biases the lighting assembly outward away from the body structure toward the outer panel when securing the lighting assembly to the body structure.
System made up of an attachment part and a retaining element
A system includes an attachment part and a holding element for holding the attachment part on a carrier part, the holding element having a threaded part connected to the attachment part and an internal thread for a holding screw, and a spacer part, the spacer part and the threaded part having interacting threads, the spacer part having a through opening flush with the internal thread of the threaded part when the spacer part is screwed to the threaded part, with the result that the carrier part can be held between a head of the holding screw and the spacer part, the threaded part having a holding section for holding the attachment part, the holding section having at least one latching element which interacts with at least one corresponding latching element of the attachment part for releasably latching the attachment part on the threaded part.
