A linear regulator (40) supplies a first drive current (I1) to a first light source (24) in a first period in which the first light source (24) is turned on and a second light source (25) is not turned on, and in a second period in which the first light source (24) and the second light source (25) are turned on, and stops the supply of the first drive current (I1) in a third period in which the first light source (24) and the second light source (25) are turned off. A switching regulator (41) supplies a second drive current (I2) to the second light source (25) in the second period, and stops the supply of the second drive current (I2) in the third period.

To provide a vehicular lamp that can improve the degree of freedom in the arrangement position of a road surface irradiation unit. The vehicular lamp comprises a road surface irradiation unit for forming an irradiation pattern around the vehicle with light from a light emitting portion for a road surface; and a shielding part for covering the light emitting portion for the road surface when the road surface irradiation unit is viewed from the front. The vehicular lamp may further comprise a lamp unit housed in a lamp chamber together with the road surface irradiation unit, and the road surface irradiation unit may be turned on and off interlocked with the lamp unit.

Vehicle lamp body device

A vehicle lamp body device includes: on an inner side of a long frame body, a lightguide rod; and a light curtain disposed sideways in front of the lightguide rod, in which the light curtain includes a plurality of claw-like parts at an interval in a longitudinal direction.

Control of high visibility vehicle light communication systems

A system provides for strobing or high conspicuity signaling with vehicle hazard and other lights depending upon inputs and parameters.

INPUT VOLTAGE STABILIZATION CIRCUIT FOR REAR COMBINATION LAMP, REAR COMBINATION LAMP, AND VEHICLE

An input voltage stabilization circuit for a rear combination lamp includes: an optical output unit including a plurality of Organic Light Emitting Diodes (OLEDs); a voltage converter; and a feedback unit. The voltage converter is configured to supply an output voltage for driving the plurality of OLEDs by converting a first voltage supplied by a vehicle battery to the output voltage, the output voltage being different from the first voltage. The feedback unit is configured to provide, as feedback to the voltage converter, information regarding a maximum voltage value for the plurality of OLEDs. The voltage converter is further configured to adjust the output voltage based on the information provided as feedback by the feedback unit regarding the maximum.

Vehicle U-turn signal indicator and system

The present invention relates to a vehicle U-turn indicator system to alert other motorists, cyclists and pedestrians of a potential U-turn made by a vehicle. The indicator is an inverted “U” shaped device having LED lights configured to blink in a running manner from one end to other and vice versa. The blinking of LED lights in one direction indicates U-turn of the vehicle in one direction (i.e. left) and in another direction indicates a U-turn of the vehicle in another direction (i.e. right). The indicator can be mounted to the front and rear of the vehicle in addition to side mirrors. An actuator is used for activating the U-turn indicator in a preferred direction.

VEHICLE LAMP

This vehicle lamp is provided with a light guide body (21) which guides and emits light incident from a light source (20). The light guide body (21) has an incident surface (211) where light from the light source (20) is incident, an emission surface (213) which emits the guided light, and a reflective surface (212) which internally reflects light incident from the incident surface (211) towards the emission surface (213). The reflective surface (212) is configured from multiple adjacently arranged reflective surfaces (212), and on the boundary surface (217) of multiple reflective surfaces (212), there are reflective steps (218) that internally reflect light in a scattered or diffused state.
