Plow blade traffic lighting system
A plow blade has a moldboard shaped with a concave front contact surface that faces a forward direction and has a convex rear frame surface that faces an opposite rearward direction, wherein the rear frame surface has a supporting frame with one or more supporting frame members that extend in the rearward direction. A first indicating lamp is coupled to the plow blade and is energizable to emit light of a first color in the rearward direction, wherein the energized first indicating lamp is concealed from visibility from the forward direction. A second indicating lamp is coupled to the plow blade, energizable to emit light of a second color, and visible from the forward direction.
Method of detecting and communicating work vehicle movement or path and system thereof
An agricultural work vehicle for operating in a field includes a chassis, a cab mounted to the chassis for an operator to control the work vehicle, a controller for controlling operation of the work vehicle, a lighting system of the work vehicle comprising at least one array field light, and a light control module disposed in electrical communication with the controller. The light control module operably controls the at least one array field light. The controller transmits a signal to the light control module indicative of an intended path of travel of the work vehicle. The at least one array field light projects a light emission corresponding to the intended path of travel onto the field at a location visible to the operator while operating the work vehicle.
VISUALISATION AID FOR A VEHICLE
The present invention is directed to a visualisation aid for indicating to a driver of a vehicle a projected location of a front wheel (90A, 90B) of the vehicle on a ground surface, the visualisation aid including an indicator (10A, 10B), wherein: the indicator is positionable in the line of sight (5A, 5B) of the driver looking out of the vehicle at the ground surface, the indicator is positionable at or above a boundary (140) of the vehicle in the light of sight, and the line of sight (5A, 5B) beyond the boundary of the vehicle intersects with an imaginary vertical plane (7A, 7B) extending forward from the front wheel of the vehicle (90A, 90B).
Vehicle Access Indicator
A vehicle access indicator (VAI) that allows a parked vehicle to display a placard showing a message and/or symbol indicating that the parked vehicle transports persons with limited mobility or a large object such as a wheelchair or infant car seat. The VAI comprises an elongated member with the placard at a distal end and securing means. The securing means allow the VAI to be removably or permanently attached to and extend outward from a side of a parked vehicle thereby indicating that minimal extra space is required between the parked vehicle and any other vehicle that parks next to the parked vehicle. Positioning means allow the elongated member and placard to extend perpendicularly straight outward from the side of a vehicle, raised upward or downward, or side-to-side from 0 to 90 degrees.
BOAT LOADERS FOR WATERCRAFT TRAILERS
Various examples are provided related to boat loaders for trailers. In one example, a boat loader includes a primary tube extending between a first end and a second end and a light tube that can move within the primary tube. The light tube can include light elements extending along a portion of the light tube at a first end and a float attached to the light tube at a second end. The primary tube can be coupled to a trailer at the second end and the first end of the light tube can extend outward from the first end of the primary tube exposing the light elements as the primary tube is submerged in water and can retract into the primary tube as the primary tube is removed from the water.
Vehicle headlight and method for assisting a parking maneuver
The invention relates to a vehicle headlamp (1) comprising; a high-resolution lighting apparatus (2) for projecting various light distributions onto a roadway area (4) positioned in front of a vehicle (3); an environmental detection device (5) for detecting at least one parking space (6) located in the environment surrounding the vehicle (3); and a control device (7) for dynamically controlling the lighting apparatus (2); wherein the environmental detection device (5) is designed to issue information corresponding to a detected parking space (6) to the control device (7), wherein the control device (7) is designed, in case the environmental detection device (5) detects a parking space (6), to control the lighting apparatus (2), under consideration of at least the information issued by the environmental detection device (5) related to the parking space (6), in such a manner that the lighting apparatus (2) at least projects a definable ground projection (8), which at least represents the vehicle length, onto the roadway area (4) in front of the vehicle (3).
Motor Vehicle Having a Projection Device
A motor vehicle includes a projection device to project a light distribution for driver information in the longitudinal direction of the motor vehicle onto the ground in front of the motor vehicle. The light function of the projected light distribution is different from a low beam and a high beam light. During operation of the projection device within a predefined interval of the vehicle speed in the forward direction of the motor vehicle, an increase in the extent of the light distribution in the longitudinal direction of the motor vehicle occurs as the vehicle speed increases. The extent of the light distribution at each vehicle speed is thereby greater than or equal to the extent at lower vehicle speeds.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR SPATIAL AWARENESS OF A REFUSE VEHICLE
A vehicle includes an automated apparatus extending from the vehicle and a projection system. The projection system includes a projector positioned on the vehicle. The projector is configured to operate to provide a projection onto a ground surface, the projection covering a zone. The automated apparatus is configured to operate within the zone.
Whisker illumination apparatus
An apparatus for marking the location of an object and that includes an elongated and translucent or transparent tubular member having top and bottom ends and a mounting piece secured to the bottom end of the elongated and translucent or transparent tubular member. The mounting piece may be comprised of a mounting coupler that is constructed and arranged for mounting from a mounting surface of the object so that the elongated and translucent or transparent tubular member is disposed in a substantially vertical position. The mounting surface includes a horizontal flange having a hole therein. An elongated light string extends within the elongated and translucent or transparent tubular member between the top and bottom ends of the elongated and translucent or transparent tubular member. The elongated light string is comprised of an elongated and planar support strip and a plurality of LED's that are spaced along the elongated and planar support strip, a source of electrical energy for the elongated light string, and conductor wiring for connecting the source of electrical energy to the elongated light string. A cap is disposed over the top of the elongated tubular member to provide a seal at the top of the elongated and translucent or transparent tubular member.
