Method for operating a driver assistance unit of a motor vehicle using a navigation target specification device, control unit, navigation target specification device, and motor vehicle
11691672 · 2023-07-04 · ·

The relates to a method for operating a driver assistance unit of a motor vehicle using a navigation target specification device. A control unit operates by: receiving a target specification signal describing a projection on a trafficable driving surface; establishing the portion of the trafficable driving surface to which the light of the projection is applied as a driving target region; and, based on the received target specification signal, establishing a relative position of the motor vehicle relative to the driving target region. There is also a step of receiving an orientation signal from an orientation detection unit of the navigation target specification device, which describes a spatial target specification orientation of the navigation target specification device in the driving target region, on which basis a navigation target is established. Depending on the established relative position and the established navigation target, there is a step of establishing a movement path to the navigation target, a step of generating a navigation signal describing a controlling of the motor vehicle along the established movement path, and a step of transmitting the generated navigation signal to the driver assistance unit of the motor vehicle.

Various examples are provided related to boat loaders for trailers. In one example, a boat loader includes a primary tube extending between a first end and a second end and a light tube that can move within the primary tube. The light tube can include light elements extending along a portion of the light tube at a first end and a float attached to the light tube at a second end. The primary tube can be coupled to a trailer at the second end and the first end of the light tube can extend outward from the first end of the primary tube exposing the light elements as the primary tube is submerged in water and can retract into the primary tube as the primary tube is removed from the water.

METHOD FOR DISPLAYING A HORIZONTAL DISTANCE OF A MOTOR VEHICLE FROM A LANE BOUNDARY

A method for displaying a horizontal distance of a motor vehicle from a lane boundary, comprising the following steps: determining the horizontal distance of the motor vehicle from the lane boundary; and projecting a numerical value by means of a headlight of the motor vehicle, wherein the numerical value depends on the determined horizontal distance, or projecting a marking, wherein a width of the marking depends on the determined horizontal distance.

DRIVING ASSIST SYSTEM, DRIVING ASSIST METHOD, AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER-READABLE RECORDING MEDIUM

A driving assist system installed on a vehicle includes a controller. The controller executes a drawing process that controls a luminescent device to draw an assist figure with a lateral width corresponding to a vehicle width of the vehicle on a road surface along a direction of travel of the vehicle.

Exterior aircraft image projector

An exterior aircraft image projector includes at least one light source, providing a light output in operation; an optical system configured for transforming the light output of the at least one light source into a light beam and projecting said light beam onto the ground below the aircraft and the of the aircraft; a photo detector arranged to detect a brightness level (Iambient) of the ground or the exterior and configured to provide a corresponding brightness signal; and a controller, coupled to the photo detector and the at least one light source configured to control an intensity of the light output of the at least one light source as a function of the brightness level (Iambient), as provided by the photo detector via the brightness signal.

Projected laser lines/graphics to visually indicate truck turning path

A system and method are provided and include a light source projector with a positional actuator mounted on a subject vehicle that projects laser lines on a roadway upon which the subject vehicle is traveling. A controller receives steering angle data from a steering system of the subject vehicle, the steering angle data corresponding to a steering angle of the subject vehicle. The controller determines a turning path of the subject vehicle based on the steering angle data and controls the positional actuator to project the laser lines on the roadway to correspond to the determined turning path of the subject vehicle.

Motor vehicle having a projection device

A motor vehicle includes a projection device to project a light distribution for driver information in the longitudinal direction of the motor vehicle onto the ground in front of the motor vehicle. The light function of the projected light distribution is different from a low beam and a high beam light. During operation of the projection device within a predefined interval of the vehicle speed in the forward direction of the motor vehicle, an increase in the extent of the light distribution in the longitudinal direction of the motor vehicle occurs as the vehicle speed increases. The extent of the light distribution at each vehicle speed is thereby greater than or equal to the extent at lower vehicle speeds.

AUTOMOTIVE LAMP

The present disclosure provides an automotive lamp, and more particularly, to an automotive lamp capable of informing an ambient vehicle approaching from one side behind the vehicle of a vehicle state by irradiating light of a road pattern to indicate the vehicle state to an area behind the vehicle. The automotive lamp includes a lamp unit disposed in a rear lamp housing of a vehicle and a detection unit configured to detect whether a reverse shift stage is selected. The lamp unit is configured to irradiate a first light distribution pattern that forms a reversing light signal pattern in the rearward direction of the vehicle, and a second light distribution pattern that forms a road pattern on the rearward road surface of the vehicle. The first light distribution pattern and the second light distribution pattern are formed simultaneously, when the reverse shift stage is selected.

An agricultural work vehicle for operating in a field includes a chassis, a cab mounted to the chassis for an operator to control the work vehicle, a controller for controlling operation of the work vehicle, a lighting system of the work vehicle comprising at least one array field light, and a light control module disposed in electrical communication with the controller. The light control module operably controls the at least one array field light. The controller transmits a signal to the light control module indicative of an intended path of travel of the work vehicle. The at least one array field light projects a light emission corresponding to the intended path of travel onto the field at a location visible to the operator while operating the work vehicle.

Vehicle control device, vehicle control method, and storage medium

A vehicle control device is a vehicle control device mounted on a first vehicle, and the vehicle control device includes a light source configured to project light outside of a vehicle; and a light source controller configured to control the light source to project a projection image which is positioned outside the first vehicle viewed from above and is along at least part of a periphery of the first vehicle in a case where the first vehicle is stopped.
