METHOD FOR OPERATING AN ASSISTANCE SYSTEM OF A MOTOR VEHICLE
The present disclosure relates to a method for operating an assistance system of a motor vehicle, wherein the assistance system has a projector. A message relating to a wrong-way driver is received, and a position of the wrong-way driver transmitted with the message is compared with a current position. Depending on the comparison, a recommendation for adapting a driving parameter is projected into an area in front of the motor vehicle for the driver by means of the projector. The present disclosure also relates to an assistance system of a motor vehicle and to a motor vehicle.

L3-level auto-emergency light system for ego vehicle harsh brake
In one embodiment, a method, apparatus, and system for automatically switching on an emergency light at an autonomous driving vehicle (ADV) is disclosed. A present speed of an ADV at a first time instant is determined. A present deceleration of the ADV at the first time instant is determined. Whether the present speed satisfies a present speed condition and whether the present deceleration satisfies a present deceleration condition at the first time instant are determined. In response to determining that the present speed satisfies the present speed condition and that the present deceleration satisfies the present deceleration condition, whether a recent deceleration history of the ADV satisfies a recent deceleration history condition and whether an expected deceleration of the ADV satisfies an expected deceleration condition are determined. If either condition is satisfied, an emergency light of the ADV is automatically switched on.

SENSOR-FRIENDLY VEHICLE WARNING SIGN
A vehicle warning sign comprises: a reflective material for at least visible light; and at least one of (i) a heating element for detection by a thermal sensor or (ii) a corner reflector for detection by a radar, the corner reflector oriented substantially in a common direction with the reflective material.

VEHICLE CONTROL DEVICE
A vehicle control device executes driving assistance control for assisting driving a host vehicle by a driver. The vehicle control device stops the driving assistance control under execution when a predetermined actuator of the host vehicle is operated. The vehicle control device executes, as the driving assistance control, abnormality countermeasure control for securing safe traveling of the host vehicle when the driver falls into an abnormal state having a problem in driving the host vehicle, and when the predetermined actuator is operated, and when the abnormality countermeasure control is not being executed, stops the driving assistance control, and when the abnormality countermeasure control is being executed, does not stop the driving assistance control including the abnormality countermeasure control.
Control of high visibility vehicle light communication systems
A system provides for strobing or high conspicuity signaling with vehicle hazard and other lights depending upon inputs and parameters.

LAMP CONTROL DEVICE AND CONTROL METHOD THEREFOR
A lamp control device may include: a lamp including an LED module having a plurality of LED channels; a converter configured to receive a voltage corresponding to a turn signal, convert the voltage into an output voltage and internal voltage, and supply the output voltage to the LED module; and a controller configured to start counting a preset delay time when the internal voltage is supplied from the converter, and control the plurality of LED channels to sequentially light up at intervals of the delay time.
