3 PIECE BASE COVER, REAR VIEW DEVICE, VEHICLE AND ASSEMBLING AND DIS-ASSEMBLING METHOD
The present disclosure refers to a base assembly of an exterior rear view device. The base assembly is configured to be mounted to a vehicle in a way that moveably supports a head assembly of the exterior rearview device. The base assembly comprises: a camera with a lens, a cleaning system with a nozzle for dispensing cleaning fluid onto the lens, a base frame, a base cover that comprises a plurality of cover pieces, and a camera cradle. The cover pieces provide a first opening for the lens and a second opening for the nozzle. The camera cradle is mounted to the base frame for holding both the camera and the nozzle.
VEHICULAR EXTERIOR REARVIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY WITH EXTENDABLE AND RETRACTABLE MIRROR HEAD
A vehicular exterior rearview mirror assembly includes a mirror head and a mounting arm. The mirror head is mounted at the mounting arm via an adjustment mechanism. With the mounting arm attached at a side of a vehicle, an adjustment mechanism is operable to adjust the mirror head relative to the mounting arm between a retracted position and an extended position. The adjustment mechanism includes an actuator that is electrically operable to pivotally adjust a link that includes a first end pivotally attached to the mirror head and a second end pivotally attached at the mounting arm. The adjustment mechanism, when the actuator is operated, moves the mirror head along a path between the retracted and extended positions. The actuator is disposed at the mirror head so that, when the mirror head moves between the retracted and extended positions, the actuator travels along the path with the mirror head.
VEHICULAR EXTERIOR REARVIEW MIRROR ACTUATOR
A vehicular exterior rearview mirror assembly includes a mounting arm and a mirror head. The mounting arm is received through an aperture in the mirror head, and an actuator is attached at the mounting arm within the mirror head. The actuator is operable to adjust the mirror head relative to the mounting arm and includes first and second motors that drive respective first and second gears. The first gear engages an arcuate gear disposed at an attachment element attached at the mirror head, and when the first motor is operated, the arcuate gear and the attachment element pivot relative to the actuator to adjust the mirror head about a first pivot axis. The second gear engages a rotationally fixed gear rotationally fixed to the mounting arm, and when the second motor is operated, the actuator travels about the second gear to adjust the mirror head about a second pivot axis.

Exterior rearview mirror assembly
An exterior rearview mirror assembly for mounting at a vehicle includes a base portion configured for attachment at a side of the vehicle, and a mirror head having a mirror reflective element, an attachment plate and an electrically-operable mirror actuator. The base portion extends through an aperture in the mirror head. The mirror actuator is attached at the attachment plate, which includes wall structure that extends from the front side of the attachment plate and that circumscribes and spans a perimeter circumferential edge of a glass substrate of the mirror reflective element. The mirror actuator is electrically operable to adjust the mirror head relative to the base portion. The aperture allows for movement of the mirror head relative to the base portion during operation of the mirror actuator.

Articulating visual aid winglet
A visual aid winglet for a vehicle includes a visual aid, a housing, a base, and an articulating structure. The housing is adapted to house the visual aid. The articulating structure is engaged between the base and the housing and is adapted to pivot the housing with respect to the base. The articulating structure includes a metallic biasing member and a damper for the absorption of vibration.
Smart welcome system of vehicle and controlling method thereof
A control method of a smart welcome system of a vehicle includes emitting a low-frequency signal of a first power to search for a smart key in a first search area, emitting a high-frequency signal by the smart key, determining that the smart key is within the first search area, carrying out authentication for the smart key, transmitting a wake-up signal to an AVNT smart connection device, and emitting a low-frequency signal of a second power to search for the smart key in a second search area, executing a booting program, transmitting a high-frequency signal by the authenticated smart key, determining that the authenticated smart key is within the second search area, unfolding a side mirror and outputting a welcome sound output signal to a welcome speaker, and outputting a welcome sound simultaneously with unfolding the side mirror.
